No, other components also produce heat that has nowhere to go like the PSU. Running this system for an extended period of time could still cause the PC to thermal throttle
@@JT_6233literally went over this in the video if you watched it 😂 the PC never thermal throttled and the ambient temp in the chamber only rose by 3 or 4 degrees C
How about a tropical fish aquaponics system above 40 degrees latitude, heated with a symbiotic PC? It wouldn’t work with mine; the SBC I use pulls about 10 W total and does everything I need.
Exactly. Don't need a pond for that. Just put some tarpaulin and leave it outside. Will be cool enough 😂 Althoigh that being said, currently have a heatwave right now 😂
I have been playing around with ideas for a crazy over the top PC cooling system that I'll probably never actually build because it would be impractical and cost a fortune but here is my idea. For perspective I'm a commercial refrigeration tech making shit cold is what I do. I think it would be really cool to cool a PC with a chiller, LTT did this I know but they did not cool it below room temp because you will cause moisture in the air to condense and water + mobo = bad. To counter this you could run the PC in a mild vacuum chamber effectively removing the moisture from the equation and giving you free reign to run your chiller at extremely low temps. The biggest thing that scares me about trying this (other than chillers are expensive) is I don't know how energized PC parts would react to a vacuum, would it cause the oil in the capacitors to boil, would the lack of an atmosphere cause and arcing? There are too many IDKs that could brick things I'm not willing to brick, but if anyone wants to put my idea into practice and test it I would gladly share my refrigeration knowledge for the cause.
Why do i need to cover the entire world with carpet when i can just put on my shoes to prevent my feet getting dirty. Keep the PC where it is supposed to be and pass coolant through it. Allow over heated coolant to flow through the pond water its that simple
Your projects are incredible, even inspiring people like me with less time and resources to take my house into my own hands. Even mounting your monitor to the wall is a project for some people!
