The sport I respect the most is gymnastics because not even 2% of the world's population can do what they do. Anyone can kick, throw or hit a ball, drive a racecar or bike but gymnastics is on another level, anyone who so much as attempts this gets some bones broken. Massive respect.
We're 6 years old and we taught ourselves a few flips. We could only dream of one day doing what these guys can do. They are epic

Apparently its has to do with FIG, they would have to get rid of an event in Gymnastics in order to put this in. (I looked because really should be an Olympic sport.)

When I was young, I was a gymnast. For those who may not know, these guys are absolutely fantastic! Awesome skills! Way, WAY (😭) better than I ever was. LOL!

Very very dizzy. Can you imagine doing that many flips, that fast. The speed alone, plus the height that they get would make anybodies head spin :)

In winter all the blood runs to your hands, cause yoi use them to gain momentum all the time, amd so it feels painful amd it throbs like it's going to explode, also blood red. Thats the amount of speed needed.

Can someone explain me why this championship allows Russia to use their flag and play their anthem although they're banned until December 2022?
Because this is a continental competition, not a global event.

I can't help but wonder how bad this is on their knees? Would their knees take the blunt of this lock a shock absorber or the back and hips as well....wow just seems terrible on the body.

I'm pretty certain the top females in this sport are better than the men. The women's seem they can go faster and have more control.
Men go higher and do more complex tricks. It's a lot easier for men to do tumbling, due to their center of gravity being at their shoulders. Women's center of gravity is at their hips, and it is a much bigger effort for them to tumble like this. Both the men and women are amazing.
