Because you can't objectively determine who the winner is like you can in curling.

@@Liwet. Have you ever watched ice skating? That's not why. It's because there aren't enough countries currently participating in acrobatics to get an olympic bid. However, USAG is working on it and hoping that mixed pair acro will be the first part of the discipline to get into the Olympics.

@@Hello-ee4it what I have been told is it’s a matter of getting enough countries participating. There’s not as much Acro in the South American countries and I’m sure that’s not the only place.

@@sidneysotuyo6339 actually he was just wrong. It wasn't a planche( u couldn't get points for the same element twice), it was a elbow lever( or crocodile)

The leg bending backwards around 2:20 was just painful to see, but it didn't even phase her. I'm pretty flexible but i cant imagine the sheer strength associated with that kind of stretch and the weight on it (even if the girl balancing on the leg is around 90lbs that would be insane).
The most amazing thing is that it threatens the knee in the exact same way an MMA knee bar does, which countless world-class fighters in the UFC have tapped to, and it doesn't bother her at all
i don`t think it was that painful...the 3`rd gymnast was thin as a dog...no more than 30 killos i suppose
but really nice exercise
***** It's not painful for her. It's hypermobility, and some people are just born with it. It has some physical issues that can result later in life, but the one upside is the flexibility.
I know it's the part of the routine that scared me the most
I have a friend who needed surgery on her knee after turning over in bed weird. How do her ACL/MCL/PCLs not snap in two?

It is a a difficult task level 9, for me to put on underwear. I sometimes have to put my left hip against my dresser, in order to lift my right leg and I cant bend very far so I have to hold the underwear at the proper angle to get my foot in the leg hole I have to put my right foot up pretty high. Then drop them down low With my hands holding the underwear just so to put the left foot in the other leg hole. If any little part in this choreography goes wrong at all! I could fall and break a hip or at least dislocate something. Getting old sucks!!!!!!

@@Sarah-cf2mc Not surprised then. Rhythmic gymnastics is usually free in Russia, its well funded. They take kids as young as 5 who have never done gymnastics (but have potential) and train them hours a day on end.
