- Hey Everyone, Thanks for viewing the video of this 1978 Dodge Power Wagon with a factory Sno-Commander plow package. This vehicle came from the factory with a citrus poly green "high-vis" paint with reflective decals, upgraded high-output alternator, factory Meyers 8 foot plow with optional tailgate sander, all time 4 wheel drive, front power disc brakes, aux lighting, 360 V8 with automatic transmission, mud & snow tires, and much more. What's so rare about this truck is its a factory step side bed w150, most sno-commanders were 3/4 tons and 1 ton trucks. We did not do a full restoration on this truck but enough preventive maintenance and rust prevention work to keep the truck up and running so the customer can enjoy using it as a truck, towing trailers, putting wood in the bed, plowing snow, etc... Ya know Truck stuff! To learn more about this vehicle please check us out on the web at www.GregsRestorations.com
What a cool old truck! Love how all the older rigs are making a come back!!
Yes the old 4wds from the 70s are the best!
You can't beat having a truck the average Joe can work on.
@@peasantsarerevolting9343 I know... the world has changed so much. Simple times were better
Regular cab, step-side trucks look awesome!
Yes they do!
I can't imagine a truck that I want more than that.
Me too! Such a cool ride
My dad gave me his 1974 Power Wagon. custom 100 .318, 4 speed 4wd, no options. He ordered it that way. I was 12 when we went to he dealer to pick it up. Has 83k on it now. Pretty much plowed snow and drove around town most of its life. I used to Baja with it some. Now I am fixing it up a little. Mostly mechanical stuff, brakes driveline heater controls.
Nice that's awesome!
😂 ..memory lane ..1st truck a 1978 dodge power wagon with the sno commander package was the 150 series with the 440 engine bought it in 1982 at classic chevy in mentor ohio saw it listed in the sat. Morning paper 2900.00 pestered my father to go check it out we had it in our driveway by noon . Used to go out in blizzards and plow whoever waved me down 10.00 a driveway haha
Love the 1972-1993 Full Size Dodge D and W full Size trucks and Ram Chargers.
I love these sno commanders! Guess i got one of the 500 that you think are left.
Sweet!
Beautiful trucks ❤❤❤❤❤beautiful lights
Back when the country was strong
Make America great again
Imports were already eating America in the 70s
Love it
This has to be one of the best represented restoration shops going. I mean look at how well their website is, UA-cam video etc. Being a Dodge Sno-Fiter/Commander lover I was taken here. Also had a 1983 Ski doo 9700 new. Certainly i would love to reach out and share with them original dealer photos etc I still have from our families dealership.
That's awesome thanks for sharing! We try our best.
I own a 1979 Dodge tailgate,,,I got it at work,,,,a guy that quit left it their,,,,the boss told me to throw it in the metal bin,,,,I asked him if I could keep it,,he said yes,,,,lol but yea I have a 1979 dodge tailgate,,it came off a 4x4,,,has zero rust,, cause I live in Arizona,,,the guy that owned it bought this truck brand new here in Phoenix!
Sweet! Make a tailgate bench with it
That's pretty crazy I'm actually going tomorrow to pull one out of a tree row. A guy got some property and was going to jumk the truck but I just can't see it go like that. It's the same color and everything. But not stepside. And it's a 4 speed. I'm hoping it's not too far gone. I might try to save, fix and drive it.
Awesome! Post a video of it when you get it. Cool trucks
@@gregsrestorations7019 I will. I hope it's in good enough shape to save it otherwise I'll be using thy driveline for my 88 w150
Where did you get the tires?
@ericwoy4132 the tires I believe we're original on the factory wheels. Coker tire has alot of tires like this
I have a 1994 Toyota Pickup 4x4 SR5, bucket seats, electric windows, cruise control, and manuals transmission. I don’t want to do a full restoration, but I’m worried about rust eventually getting to it. How do I get in touch with y’all?
Hello, Please send us an email with pictures to gregsrestorationsLLC@gmail.com
I wouldn't touch that, leave it original, that is so much nicer, no need to ever paint that!
