Hearing Penny play Cold Steel makes me very happy, I enjoy the Trails series *very much* even if they're a lil lengthy. I also had the same issues with Xenoblade Chronicles until something in the story finally clicked for me, the quick movement gems genuinely do help more than I thought they would but if she ultimately doesn't stick with it then I hope she finds another game she's able to enjoy in the series (or just jrpgs in general)

So you CAN play kingdom hearts days (365/2) if you have a DS and can find a copy but the gameplay isn't that spectacular so it might be better to watch the cinematic you can view that's fully HDified with the ps4 hd updated version of kingdom hearts 1 and 2. It has some pretty important lore and of all the games I probably cried the hardest at that one followed by BBS (birth by sleep) which I cried but somewhat less. So regardless of if you play it or not I highly recommend watching the cinematics for days for the impactional and the story implications for the rest of the series.
