- Social Work is in my blood', says Alag Natarajan, a 72 year old Matka Man of Delhi who's been serving drinking water to people in South Delhi for the past 5-6 years. He is a cancer survivor who came to India from London after battling with intestinal cancer. Since then, he's only been serving the people of Delhi. Started with a water cooler in front of his Panchsheel Park's house, today he has around 20 matka stands and 70-80 matkas at different locations in South Delhi where he serves drinking water to the passersby in Delhi heat. He goes to every matka stand 4 times a day in his car having a 500 litre water tank. This matka man not only provides water but also nutritious salad to construction workers.
