Interesting. Nice demonstration on this technique. I never knew this type of machine existed. You are expanding my knowledge and I look forward to more of your videos.
there are Japanese stitching guides which tell you the order or the tracing pattern to make the stitches look complete, without having to "fill in" -- one long smooth line
Yes, I do like it. What issues have you had? There are definitely some learning moments every times. The biggest challenge that I have had was to remember not to use thick thread. The other one was to use cotton which is not too densely woven. I had a Japanese shirt cotton which was beautiful but all of my machines found it tough to sew. The Sashiko really hated that but I stuck it out and completed the task.
From 5-7 video, you the only one show at the back of sewn. Now i know how it looks like. Thank you.

Thank you for sharing your new machine with us!
Fascinating! I've always wondered how a Sashiko machine works. Thank you very much.
Really nice work, James! I like this machine very much.

James - Check out Evy Hawkins!
I'd rather do my sashiko the traditional way, by hand!
I would love to see your hand work sometime. I have no doubt it would be stunning.
I think is more of a $1,000 dollars,or more,, is not for my paket.lol, but is olny use for sashiko only , is to much $..
