- Today we have a build for Spawn in Dungeons & Dragons! If you want to be edgy with all the powers of hell at your disposal, D&D 5e has nine hells, so that's gotta be good.

There is a piece of UA that let's you conjure a gun as a Warlock. The invocation known as Eldritch Firearm. It's from the Modern Magics UA, if I remember correctly.
If the pact weapon is gonna be a ranged weapon I recommend a great axe for the shadow blade as Spawn does turn his cape into one called Agony.
After seeing this I need to suggest this one, How to play Witchblade in D&D! Personally I prefer Sara Pezzini from comic over Masane Amaha from the anime adabtation. But thats up to you who you want to use, a extra tip: Witchblade has had many wielders where to choose from 😁

Hey Tulok! Would you ever make a build for Connor from Detroit: Become Human? I'm guessing he would be a warforged designed to hunt down other warforged!
Warforged Rogue, either Assassin or Inquisitive, with 6 levels of Battlemaster Fighter for Archery or Unarmed Fighting depending on which aspect you want to focus on.

He could have gone with a few levels of druid too. Spawn absorbs sin from vermin and bugs in the comics and he can command them. Later in the comics is also gains damn near God tier strength from nature
So this makes we want to make a symbiotic entity warlock pact where you quite literally wear your patron like armor it would be perfect for a venom or spawn build, and would provide a lot of neat buffs such as AC equal to 13 plus your charisma among other things.
Today I learned Dr Facilier and Spawn were voiced by the same person

Honestly EB can be everything for Spawn; chains, guns, heck even punches. Just describe it how you want. Meanwhile bookworm or talisman pact boon giving you even more at will magic or limited guidence for extra badassery.

I do appreciate that intro with Friends on the Other Side.
You know, for Undead/Revenant types, there is the Hollow One Supernatural Gift from Explorer's Guide to Wildemount. Ageless, so effects that would normally cause you to age don't work. Get up with 1hp on a Death Saving throw of 16 or better. And your presence can scare the poop out of foes within 15 feet of you - enemy can't even save against it - giving them disadvantage on their next saving throw within the next minute. Oh, and you're undead. Useful if you want to just be a lich without too much work. That or some Necromancer tried to raise you, only for you to have free-will and now you want to go after them, like Sir Daniel Fortesque from MediEvil.

Spawn's sort of like Venom or Green Lantern in that he can make any weapon he wants, so he doesn't have any weaknesses. That being said, he does have brawling and both types of magic as his strengths.
His offenses are his greatest assets and his only bad stats are resistance since his weaknesses are strictly magical and luck since he died once.
Re: Movie. I have never been more bored with so much fire.
Ok, based purely on the skim read through of the wiki I dis im guessing this will be a (probably Revenant) human with the solder background, as for class my guess is the way of the long death monk. I could also see a fiend warlock with pact of the blade working.
Edit: so got the Revenant fiend warlock part.

Race: Either variant human or revenant depending on how Tulok is feeling.
Background: Soldier
Stats:
#1: Dex: Spawn likes guns. Guns don't generally exist in d&d so Tulok makes them crossbows. But since I'm guessing that he wont even say the word "crossbow" during the video.
#2: Cha: He's terrifying and it's necessary for classes.
#3: Con: He's tough enough to fight demons and monsters and be fine.
#4: Wis: He's seen some stuff and likely wouldn't be that easy to scare or charm.
#5: Str: He's a demonic general, gotta have some strength to do that.
#6: Int: He definitely wouldn't be dumb, he was a special forces soldier, but it's not really necessary for my guess.
Class(es)
- Fighter with sharpshooter/archery/crossbow expert. Like I said, Spawn uses guns, Tulok re-flavors them into crossbows. But since I guessed crossbows he's gonna use things like Eldritch blast and Magic missile instead as spawns guns because the most predictable thing about Tulok is that I can never accurately predict him.
- Fiend Warlock: He's literally given power from a demonic entity. I don't like to say this but I don't think there's any way he ISN'T a fiendlock.
Anyway, show me the Triton Bard/Druid!

Great video! I’m looking to play Amon from The Legend of Korra. The idea is 15 levels of divination wizard and 5 levels of clockwork sorcerer to get as many ways as possible to help the Feeblemind go off, removing their ability to cast spells!

ah the use of dr Facilier "friends on the other side" for a spawn video is so warming especially with Keith David playing both parts...just need a goliath from gargoyles episode...screw that an hour and a half gargoyles episode were you build all the gargoyles (including Demona and angela, Xanatos,Elisa, Fox, Macbeth)
Inspired by Spawn, I would like to ask for another edgy anti-hero with ties to the underworld that also uses guns to kill his enemies, Beelzemon from Digimon Tamers. Boy, I didn't notice how similar a Digimon could be to both Spawn AND Ghost Rider, maybe that's why he's my favorite?
Also absorbs his foes after killing them to gain their abilities. But...you'd also have to be able to absorb your own weapon to get Blast Mode, and didn't he absorb his motorcycle in the movie?

Fun fact! A very old unearthed arcana that focused on futuristic tech had an invocation option to summon a gun! If you want that and your DM allows guns...use it! It's good! Like, really good!

I don't know if it's been mentioned, but this build needs the Cloak of Billowing.
You could pick pact of the chain instead of blade so you get a cool pet and can pick up the chains of carceri invocation for some more chain action and more efficiency.

I heard a new Spawn movie is in the works, and they were shooting for a 2022 release before the pandemic. That said, I haven't heard any news regarding the project after the pandemic hit, so yeah.
If your DM allows you to get the dark gifts, second skin and symbiotic being would work well for Spawns suit.
Tasha's book gives the "improved pact weapon" it lets you get a range weapon as a choice (crossbows, bows, maybe guns if allowed by DM)

(Bard because he plays the guitar. His solos are epic. Fighter because his dad was an extremely famous martial artist who won every single tavern brawl, and revenant because he was killed on his wedding night by a bunch of thugs and then resurrected by the power of birds. Yes, this is exactly who you think it is.)

Light Optimization Note -
Start as DSS1 for Con Saves, keeping the spell progression, more Cantrips, and Favored by the Gods then continue as the rest of the build specifies. Alternatively Start with Fighter 2 to improve on your blade pact abilities, Con Saves, Heavy Armor, and Action Surge with a Fighting Style.
Divine soul socerer doesn’t really fit spawn

This build is nasty as HELL.
Love it!
Warlocks are often under-rated. But there are many builds that can be very awesome. My favorite is still my great old one warlock (pact of the tome)/assassin. (Technically I used thief instead of assassin because the skill set was better.) The character was essentially a government spy, a master of disguise, built to deceive. Got a 34 on a deception roll with ease, and viewed every combat he didn’t enter willingly as a personal failure.
Oh, he was also a Halfling and regularly used Mask of Many Faces to disguise himself as a child.
Everyone sort of tends to ignore children and their games. It got him a free pass into most palaces- he’s the kid of one of the servants?
He was also a sadistic sociopath, lawful evil, and treated people like objects, unless they had proven themselves to be an actual friend. A difficult headspace to get into, but very, very efficient.
