Spoke to Dean at Oulton. He hadn’t got a clue who I was, but it didn’t matter a jot. He was so open and friendly, a proper decent chap. I wish him all the success he can get on the Honda.👍👍

yeah, he was no-where through the speed gun at the TT last year, and at the top level every bit counts, so hopefully the honda will make the difference

Met him a few year ago at the TT...He had broke down just past Sulby straight...To witness someone so high on pure Adrenalin was simply amazing....What a top bloke who stood chatting with us...All the best at Honda.

Dean you made Kawasaki fans proud by pushing the ZX10 to its limits I wish that the ZX10 had a little more top end power you may have won at least 3 TTs I believe the Honda will give you the power to win I look forward to seeing on top

Really warmed to Dean over the last few years. Love the way he knuckles down and took good podiums with a big smile on his face. The way he still respects Kawasaki and Dao speaks volumes. Hope he can take a few wins this year at TT.

You can't fault the Champions; McGuiness, Bridewell, Kennedy, for development and race results as soon as possible. I wish the Harrisons every success, and Andrew too. Since BSB and IoM TT are very different to WSBK and Honda Racing has such heritage I don't doubt that this team and these riders will develop everything that the 24 bikes can do. I can't wait!
Dean is so down to earth and so honest with his interviews.

Liked this interview. Nice guy with hopefully the opportunity of a lifetime if all falls into place. Really hope this gets him going better in BSB & close to Hicky at TT. But new bike & not much testing so maybe not this year but he's a good hard working lad so if not then I'm sure there'll be a next year. Also, where is the interview with Andy Irwin?!

Got to think that extra top speed is going to make that small gap up. What he did on that Kawasaki at the last few TT's was incredible.
As long as Hicky decides to be on top of his game and the bike performs like it should, there is no one who will take his spot on the top.
Maybe, maybe not, he's always there or there abouts and that's on a kawasaki that's remained pretty unchanged for a long time. Last year hickman was clocked at over 200mph down sulby straight and next closest bike was Dunlop at 193mph on a Honda. With Dean on a Honda and on a factory bike he may not have it so easy this year. They are both great though and should make for a great race. Hopefully no injuries scupper plans before TT

To throw regular 134’s in at the TT is something special… I hope his style suits the Honda and is able to confidently do the same. His lap times don’t reflect the number of tt wins he has.
Funny how Honda have ditched their “corporate” ideology and gone with a couple of lads who don’t mind throwing a few swear words about. They seem to be allowing them to be themselves aswell which is great. Deano has a great chance with the new fireblade to take it to Hicky and Dunlop. Equally TB could do really well on the new Blade, should be a good season for racing all round!
