Arin: types in "yeh"
Also Arin: "why wrong?"
To be fair, he answered 'Nah' in an earlier episode and the game took it as 'No', so while it's probably just a matter of "No != Yes" simplistic coding, it probably made him assume that the game was coded with slang in its parser.
Ah yes my favorite UA-camrs Arin the adventurer and Danny the furry
The Adventures of Friend Arin and Danny the Furry.
16:48
These two would be so great in a horror movie scenario. Dan being the voice of reason while Arin is trying to find any way to get massacred. 🤣
Also, Dan couldn't sound _more_ like a mother here.
Something they missed with the lore "Hamelin" is obviously a reference to the pied piper of Hamelin. The tag line "follow us to fun" is directly referencing how the pied piper kidnaps children by be witching them with his catchy tunes.
Dan getting excited at the end by the lore was fun to watch lol
Yeeessss!!! Gives me hope that they'll now delve into more indie horror. Like perhaps... Bendy? (I know it's a sh*t show of a game, but it's my favorite and I want them to play it so badly. )
39:47 I lost it when Dan mispronounced CM Punk's name while scrolling down.
17:52 idk why but hearing them sing the “kiss your dad” song got me floored so badly like i scared my dog with my laugh the same way this game got danny scared
Walkthrough (via Dan): "There is a secret *fifth* ending."
Dan, after they get *four* endings: "Well, I guess that's it."
Arin: "I think there's a *fifth* ending."
Dan: Doesn't look like it."
If you guys liked that Chip cameo, might I suggest a little game called Chip’s Tips. It’s right up Dan’s alley as far as horror games go.
Ohhh it was a cameo? Now it makes more sense. Time for a new rabbit hole!
Chip's ... _tech_ tips?
seconding this! that game's aesthetic is delightful, it's so goofy and they pulled it off well
I actually knew about Chip's Tips before I knew about this game (I heard of it, but I didn't know it was a horror game and not just some obscure kids' show until I watched Dan & Arin play it), so seeing that guy and his dog made me laugh in the middle of the horror. What's poppin *B?*
Yes they need play it. That game is a trip 😂
Can't wait for sbassbear to make a how many chairs remix
arin throwing the key gave me a good laugh
the fact they never let blabot beg for his life is hilarious
hahaha
"Anyway, I've got to go missing."
I'm using this as my way to back out of a convo from now on.
Getting content whiplash with this episode. Every other time hey popped in a tape the damn mid-roll ad synced with it 🤣
They didn’t even regard blabbot’s pleas. 😭
39:46 LMAO CM PUNK MENTION LETS GOOOOOOOO
16:47 the concern in Dan's voice is both understandable and hilarious!
at around 17:00 dan was screaming at arin to leave and all i can imagine is dan popping up from the hatch and screaming "Arin LEAVE!!!"
I love that in the purple tape, we basically get demon names called out and the guys are totally confused about it in the beginning. Glad they got it in the end
There is still a 5th hidden ending!!!! I hope they come back to find it.....
Dan unintentionally cracking the Amanda the Adventurer/CM Punk crossover lore
Wow that “how many chairs” song really does sound like “that’s not my name.”
How many chairs
How many mush-rooms
How many fruit
How many lights

i just love these little guys . they are my silly little guys in my screen and they are goofy and they make me laugh
Dan saying how the website says the stuff over Amanda's eyes might be wool followed by Arin dismissing it and then saying she's just a vessel for a demon. But it's definitely both because Amanda's had the wool pulled over her eyes.
pours water on Blabot
Blabot:i'll never forget you MEMORY DELETED!.
Gotta love the Jon style "Ariiin!" At 16:49. Some things never change.
just finished up watching the last part and now i've immediately got the next one, perfect uploading timing!
I love kids games that make me feel this *unsafe* ☺️🌈✨
i think you guys still missed the flood/tornado/blizzard thing. my rainbow/six cubby senses tell me there's supposed to be a yellow tape? idk
they definitely didn’t complete the puzzle for that tape and therefore missed an ending, but they got all the available secret tapes in game
No yellow tape but a regular Amanda tape with the actual 5th ending. The "5th ending" they got was the secret 6th ending
24:04 Dan saying “Arin you stupid fuck, we didn’t make the peach pie” is now my text tone
The fact that Arin essentially figures out what’s going on at 33:04 and just says it in a sarcastic throwaway comment is so Game Grumps™️
I like to think when Sam says “you know what it’s like to have a little budget” to Sadie, and her response is to “drink” from the empty mug and shrug it off is an intentional nod to the silliness.
For anyone interested, those "dynamic voice reaction" lines the little girl reads have the same sound as the names of several demons; Belial, Paimon, Balam. Also, Hamlin is the town from the Pie Piper fable that had it's children kidnapped and never seen again.
When Arin was describing the game at the end, it makes me think "wow this game is really dark" glad that they finished playing😊 Thanks Game Grumps you guys are the best! ❤❤❤
I’m an elementary school teacher and I’m watching this in my classroom as I grade papers. This game feels right but it feels wrong 😂
I appreciate them actually taking it slow and trying to solve the lore and talk about it. I actually never played this game, so I got to play along with them and is fun to discover and listen to them theorycraft all these stuff.
There’s going to be a sequel too. Just saw the announcement trailer.
Ooh exciting! I slept on this in its original hype peak because I thought it was a dopey Baldy's Basics type thing. A much spookier game than I ever thought!
I watched Markiplier play it a little bit ago, but I always love Arin and Dan’s commentary together, so of course I had to watch it again.
But yeah, I’m interested in this sequel seeing as the open endings we got.
The Hameln company logo is a rodent suggesting that it has to do with the Pied Piper and the town of Hamelin. The company was luring the children away and making them disappear. "Follow us to fun."
26:42 "What do you mean, 'you met her?'" "When she came out of the *ussy" Beautifully put, Arin 😂 She didn't come outta there "drawing Mozart", but I do wonder about her spider form.
32:26 “it’s some guy in a hazmat suit” I know I have the advantage of pausing the video and zooming in but imo the guy is dressed like he’s from the distant future of 1996
Dan immediately forgetting that the 1x4=4 filled me with anxiety.
Having them go through the lore at the end was really cool. Always the best to see lore getting appreciation :)
Amanda has big "do you value your teeth?" energy.
The rat symbol for Hamlin? Is that a Pied Piper reference for leading the children away?
My god Arin literally talked over the part that revealed she was adopted.
This was great to watch! Actually looking up the lore and doing some exploring after the game was a real treat! Thanks Grumps for taking a chance on this game.
I sometimes wish we can see your reactions but the commentary is just as hilarious 😂💖
My favorite part was watching the boys unravel the pieces and relationships there at the end! It was really satisfying and they had such a genuine brainstorm ☺️
This is honestly the perfect, creepiest episode to have out today as it’s my birthday 😂
Happy birthday! Hope you have a great day
happy birthday :D
Happy birthday!!
Wow! Thanks for letting me know about CM Punk's return to the WWE!
Hazmat suit guy is definitely her father coming to rescue her, right?
@leahmontesinos6303 Amanda and her father are dead ,and the story never mentioned how the aunts niece even got in the house in the first place .the game literally starts with you in the attic
You don't play as Rebecca
I thought Wooley was her father
@@evanpaul7227 no ,there's nothing stating that wooley is her father, the demons Amanda's voice actress summoned is killing kids and taking their souls ,the demon just uses the Amanda persona to trick little kids while they watch the tape
It was a guy in a trenchcoat
39:48 literally stopped what I was doing in confusion when Dan brought up CM Punk and WWE
Omg yes! That you guys for finishing this series! I got as invested as Dan and was watching on the edge of my seat!
I really appreciated the deep dive at the end! great playthrough
