Ingenious!!!
Did you install a resistor to compensate for the LED's, so the tow vehicle's turn signals/hazards wouldn't hyper-flash?
No I didn’t because I left all the original stuff in tact since these were originally made for running as is. There are resistors built in and they work great. I’ve pulled it several times with no issues so hopefully that gives you a clear answer.
Did you seal around the lights after installing?
What did you use for the LED Brake lights?
Just the trailer light kit that you get from the auto parts store. That’s what was stuck on it when we got it so I just incorporated them.
Did i miss the reframing video?
No, I have part of that recorded but I haven’t made a video out of it yet. I should wrap it up and send it out.
Why not just leave the red cap off the new one? The old lens is red 🤷🏻♂️
I contemplated it but I like the look of the old covers to complete the look of the outside
I understand. I meant leave the cover off the new led and just use the old lens
@@Blue04Z71sorry, I totally misread your first comment. The new led has a built in magnifying plate that the red cover holds in place. I guess you could glue the magnifying plate on and leave the extra red lens off.
