I love this crochet bone as well. Now, I have three bone tutorials in my list of videos. I'm gonna try this one out this morning. This one might work just as better for the bone that I'm putting on my cat mom friend's crocheted Christmas paw stockings next month. I'll have to see :0). The last few Christmas paw stockings I just made a crocheted rectangle and little circles and hot glued 'em to the corners and now I wanted to try a little something different on my cat mom friend's Christmas paw stockings. I'm going to Hobby Lobby today to get two skeins of I Love This Cotton white yarn so I can play with the crocheted bones.
I got the yarn, but just playing a little bit. I'll have to wait 'til I get one of the Christmas paw stockings done to figure out chain length for the bones.
I got the feel of doing this bone pattern, but I decided to go with the other bone where you make the two bone bumps on the ends and just keep going around and around 'til you get it the size bone you want it to be. It'll work better for machine embroidery. I have to make the center of the bones at least three inches for my cat mom friend's kitties names 'cause I wanted to use the Santa's Sleigh snow covered font for the names if it works good after I test it on one of the bones :0).

Hello from Canada. Absolutely love your work & I can only crochet using tutorials. Self taught 3 yrs ago & I've only missed 2 days of crocheting due to illness. You explain everything so well & thank you so very much. Is there any way you could have the camera placed behind you facing your work so we can see it from your point of view like we are actually crocheting? Just asking & don't mean to offend you. I made 2 of these dog bones but I only ch 7 as I wanted them quite small which I am attaching to crocheted hot pad bloomers.....LOL Thanks again darlin & looking forward to more of your great tutorials.
This is an old video, you might like to try some of my New Videos that are filmed in the Studio from several angles. And if you need more help the the free Crochet Pattern link is in the notes under the video.
