People who support the same position as she does are generally more respectful than the ones who firmly condemn what they hate as "delusional" or "insane." Many comments in this thread notice how respectful she was- as if they actually weren't expecting that in the first place. I think that explains enough how the other side has played this out- making it all about respect for trans when it isn't. It's about respecting the fact that THERE IS ANOTHER POINT OF VIEW that exists- that whether you agree that there are only two biological sexes is NOT the issue. If we can agree that the term "God" can be used whether God really exists or not is the same as agreeing on the terms for trans whether we agree with their reality or not. The only perspective that doesn't deserve respect is one that creates public harm and poses a DIRECT, PHYSICAL threat (clear and present danger) to the well-being of society (e.g. cult ideology that justifies crime).

@@TheLionTheLambRom1221 We blame transitioning as the cause of depression- but aren't these debates contributing? Society's persecution complex runs deep. We argue that biological sex must be the basis of one's identity- therefore justifying mutilation as well since those who want to change their biological sex are thinking along the same lines- I feel, think, and have desires no different from a woman, I should have a vag*na kind of thinking. Mainstream society establishes the NORM, causes confusion among those who don't fit in the norm- even tolerates harassment of those who don't fit in- then condemns those who try to do exactly that. Persecution simply creates its own structures of oppression that generate even more confusion and chaos. Perhaps if we didn't have the condemnation to begin with, gays would have chosen to be as they are instead of trying to adapt to the NORM of your biological sex as the absolute determinant of identity. We can speak of truths and blame others as delusional- but aren't the ones pointing fingers and speaking about mutilation and truths only trying to escape the fact that THEY'RE part of the problem to begin with? Without condemnation of others whose decisions don't impact us, we'd be saving more lives. She didn't annoy me the way so many others do in these discussions.
Someone who has a "feeling" isnt always correct. To be a woman from a man it takes more than outer makeup to be a woman and dangerous thing about transition can make actual women vulnerable.
@@peace9265 A few years ago when the transgender thing first became so visible, my daughters were in middle school. I watched in horror as it almost became a "trend" for the kids to start changing their genders and names, etc. One of my daughters close friends was begging to transition and I'm so glad her mother got her some psychological help because it ended up (to no one's surprise) being a phase. She wont even talk about or address that time in her life now. These poor kids that are finding their way in life, struggling with their identity and being accepted, peer pressure. I always tell my kids if this would have happened when I was young I probably would have made a terrible mistake. I was so confused as an adolescent and went through every phase and stage imaginable. Children don't have the brain development to make such choices. It's so sad.
@@karenmilford7809 Parents need to be able have authority over children. When that right is forced from them then it becomes harder to discipline them as well as explaining them in the nicest way. Children gets more power and they learns nothing except that they want it and they gets it. There are Boys looking like girls but they ain't and vice versa
I got lectured by ppl like this growing up only to find out as an adult that I was logical my whole life.
Exactly! Respect is earned, not just randomly given out. When are these children going to grow up?
When someone starts using the word 'like', 'just', 'you know', 'i mean', then it usually means they don't know what they're talking about.
I have a great deal of respect for this young lady. She disagreed with him, but she was willing to listen and have a dialogue with him.
When you are seriously unsure of yourself, especially your feelings, any criticism thereof will infuriate you!!
Like ... Can people stop saying like for no reason at all ... One can be telling me the most serious of topics . But as soon as they say like ... It's over , I'm staring off into the distance . I speak a few languages , and I understand a few more . Sorta like literally bro , dude .
Too many people are emotionally broken.
Totally demoralized people fall easily for Queer Theory Sexual Behavior Instruction.
@@santosmadrigal3702 funny! Agree.
That's a really good point. I think trans people know they are living in deep delusion and sin, and they have to avoid that thought at all costs, so they strike out in violence and anger when questioned. It's really very pitiable. I feel for them. Many of them have been abused as children.
@@wandertree it hit me yesterday . Gays and Lesbians can't reproduce ... But these same gays and Lesbians vote for abortion ... I thought they want to adopt ...
She is just an adorable little girl who is confused from being fed with trash
I like this kid, she is sincerely trying to be respectful to everyone. It is clear she is searching for the answers and struggling with her questions. I salute her actually because she is open to consider his argument. If only more youngsters followed her lead, and I hope she gains the understanding she is striving for.
It's not respectful to buy into someone's mental delusion
@@Trump.2024-qy8pe It's not normal to consider buying into someone's mental delusion especially if that mentality is left inspired.
I can agree with that
But she is wrong.
Very, very, very wrong.
she'll outgrow her marshmallow guilt sooner or later
She can't make up her mind, it's just respect, not that deep- but it's shattering.
She wasn’t delusional, she realised the faults in what she was saying but was stubborn enough to stick with it. She doesn’t believe it deep down.
Much respect to this girl. She was calm, not interrupting, not cussing or giving the finger.
Yeah well when you try to make yourself more important than you are by people pleasing, that snowballs into something else. Subservience even with facts laid out.
She definitely was more respectful and calmer than most leftist many she is the very rare liberal that is actually liberal.
I give her credit for being calm and respectful. But her argument has no logic. She said names aren't a big deal and at the same time said her Trans friends would be devastated if you called them by their given name. Plus if be called any name devastates you he are going to have problems making it in this world.
@@ronaldfloyd9396 True
Still wrong.
she was wrong anyway...
good manners, but wrong ideas
She is having a great genuine conversation without getting overly emotional and abusive...
No, "I mean"...
Yeah I'm actually giving some kudos to the girl. She does seem slightly naive, but she's at least honest. She's not overly emotional about it. She's not irrational by any means.
And she genuinely seems like a decent person. This is what a conversation of conflicting views should look like
@@redneckrambo9626 I agree, she seems like she has a very kind heart. I'm also guessing because her kind nature, she's been confused and taken advantage of by the "trans community."
This young lady is not fully gone. May God bless her and help her find the truth.
In fairness, she's so polite.
She asked ‘Why do names matter so much?’……….so why get worked up about dead naming?
Exactly why not ask her that question
“It’s just a name. It’s not that deep”
“It’s shattering to them “
Can’t have both. I changed my name to James. For 25 years now. It’s not shattering to me when my dad calls me by my given name, even though I’ve lived with my new name for the majority of my life, and these kids, have had these new names for maybe a year
She is so confused.
Because make- believe never makes sense or actually stacks up to reality .
She actually sounds not like these angry ideologues but actually like someone who’s a sweetie and cares, it’s just sad cause those type of people can actually be manipulated by the overzealous political ideologues some times
Indeed, they need to learn to not allow people to bully them into particular ways of thinking.
A young person shouldn't even have this on his or her radar. Should be enjoying good health and freedom from all the life setbacks coming later.
We should become "more accepting"? At what point, when the world becomes more dangerously insane, do we stop accepting the next madness?
More power to you Charlie! this is a crazy world we live in.
He lives in a country where millions of kids are strapped down to have their genitals cut in two and he says nothing. First order hypocrite.
Totally agree.
She was great expressing her opinion with out the attitude you so often get. I give her props for that.
Yes, and now reread the click bait title of the video again xD
"Respect" means different things to different people. Some people believe that not being afraid them is disrespect.
Many people, including "trans" act out violently toward anyone they believe has "disrespected" them.
Anything that is subjective is meaningless and therefore worthless.
My best friend's name is very similar to mine. Because if this, lots of people call me by his name and vice versa. I don't crumble into a puddle of tears when this happens.
She honestly just seems like the sort of girl who wants everyone to be happy. She disagreed with him but she wasnt even coming at him try attack him in a sense. Just trying to get an understanding of it all and where he was coming from. Shes a very good person at the core you can just tell hey
@@turquoisemoon3654 truth is not hate. Mutilating children is hate. Allowing a person to fall into a community that has incredibly higher rates of suicide, depression, and psychiatric episodes AFTER transition is Hate- If he doesn't call it what it is then we all live in delusion. He is direct and unapologetic as he should be. I did not see him attack anyone. There is a reason why people are pointing out her sincerity. She listened to him, and he listened to her- that was an honest debate/conversation- people yelling and refusing to listen to what he is talking about IS the MAJORITY. I have seen this stuff for 5 decades. I used to be on the side of liberal thought- however, in the liberal world-it was their constant insane, incoherent, and flat-out lies that made me realize I was living in an echo chamber and I wasn't allowing truth to penetrate.
It's the truth-tellers who ARROGANTLY PRETEND they understand EVERYTHING that's causing the most misunderstandings to begin with.
Keep on judging others as delusional. That helps. As if that solves anyone's problems.
@@turquoisemoon3654 it is delusional. It is truth. If you find truth hateful then you are messed up. Nobody should hate anyone, however we cannot let mental illness be the standard. Obviously suicide stats and depression stats fall flat on someone like you. As far as treatment of homosexuality, again nobody should be mistreated. But every society before it fall allowed such practices, Persian, Greek, roman empires. We need to protect society. That is not subjective thought. We all have crosses on life. They need to hear their cross like everyone else. It is mental illness.. Again you preach love but in practice it is hate.
I’ll take her. She’s kinda cute. Might hafta put a sock or something in her mouth if she goes on too long
I can appreciate the way this lady challenged him. She was respectful and sincere with her questions.
She’s confusing respect with common courtesy
This guy can speak for me 99.7% of the time.
Same!
The other .30% it's because you're trans
@@tyronefranco9180transgender crap is overly confusing.
I see what you did there 👍🏻
She is a kind soul, young and naive, and shows she is educated. I hope she learns earlier rather than later that accepting all things that are happening is not the safest way.
I actually see her point though. I don’t believe men can be women, and I also don’t think deadnaming is “shattering” and that’s snowflake BS, but a name change is a totally different thing. If I changed my name tomorrow it wouldn’t be unrealistic to expect to be called by my new name with the exception of people who already knew me as something else and forget because of habit. A little disappointed with him on this video… not offended just, think he’s not making sense.
When you call them with their first names they remember the ugly mistake they want to keep forgetting. Satans old trick. Still working with some people.
I have always taught my children and my grandchildren, that respect is not given it is earned.
another one "in their feelings"
Someone once said that these people aren't actually demanding your respect but rather you attention. They just want to stand out and be called special like when they were kids.
she was more respectful. I can respect that.
The Left made the messaging personalized.
So these people make it ALL ABOUT THEMSELVES when speaking on issues. It’s completely ridiculous. These Ally’s feel personal connection with issues, like this girl.
It’s a CHOICE, and like everyone else, they want everyone else to go along with their choice. My neighbors may not like my choice of clothes, but I have to go forward in my day.
This is crazy
She was very calm and respectful, and it was nice to see her maybe starting to question the narrative she has been told. But the refusal of people to actually answer factual questions that might cause their argument to fall apart is so damn irritating. Props to Charlie for keeping his annooyance with that part in check.
What a very cordial and thoughtful conversation. Well done young lady. There’s hope for you.
