I also don’t care for the romance, but I think they’re trying to play upon him “loving himself”, something he’s not supposed to do. But I feel like Loki loving another version of himself is so on brand lol. It’s the narcissist in him. Great reaction.

My hope is that *if* they declare their love for each other, it's purely platonic or more sibling like. This Loki still has no idea that his and Thor's relationship was repaired before Thanos killed him.
No he does know that he and Thor were on a good footing before Thanos killed him. They showed him watching the rest of his natural life in Episode 1. It was very touching for Loki to see that he did have a family that he loved and loved him back.
it's romantic since the director and writers are persistent on the idea that loki and sylvie are two different people with their own different experiences from two different worlds. so they can be together if they choose to. it won't be like he's dating himself 'literally'.

What could such a young child do to create a Nexus event?...... to me, it just shows the TVA's agenda doesn't match what was said in the Miss Minutes video. I can't wait for the next episode

I think that even the potential of Loki and Sylvie falling in love and creating a potential Nexus Being (like Wanda) is what has the TVA freaked out. I totally expected the Wizard of Oz moment, the Time Keepers looked too janky and fake, but I did not expect what followed at all. Love your reactions. Love your passion.
I *NEVER* thought about the idea of them potentially creating a nexus being and you are so goddamn right. The nexus event was most definitely not that they weren't supposed to be happy and stop being alone, after all that's what has always being for them and it has never created such a steep branch, so the path for a potential nexus being is way more likely than anything else. Now after episode 6, and with the knowledge of the comics, I don't think they will be endgame, I'm sure the show will try to play with that idea more but I really don't think it makes sense for them to be endgame, especially because I'm 100% sure they're trying to go for the kid loki path in the future... It makes a lot of sense.
Ravonna felt that... I mean Mobius's pruning. There was emotion there. The sigh & the way she looked up like, "I hope you know what you're doing because I had to do away with someone that I ACTUALLY cared about for your cause."
The question is who is "YOU"? *raises brow* She (Renslayer) clearly isn't the head honcho.
Excellent catch. That's one of the reasons casting matters so much. Marvel has been getting it right in so many ways lately, we're ecstatic about the quality performances we're getting from this entire cast.

The nexus event was a Loki with hope to be great and a hero.
I agree. Sylvie was meant to be a hero and possibly wield Mjolnir. She is worthy and Loki fell in love. And that ain’t weird in my opinion. They are different people. Different lives. More like soulmates and not even close to the same person.

I don't think it's romance he feels for Sylvie but I think it's opening him up to feeling for someone else in general. Sylvie is a version of Loki who is chaotic but good, she seems to have a wider compassion than Loki - or at least that's what they're hinting at.
I would say it's more the start of Loki having a larger emotional palette that could encompass a romance (maybe) in the future.
Also, "Marvel and the gang" - I'm keeping that one.

Loki definitely feels something, romantic or bond with Sylvie, but I'm not sure if the strong feeling is mutual.

Personal opinion: loki x sylvie isn't self-crest.
Reasoning: loki and sylvie are different human beings. First sylvie was born a female so then she and loki don't have the same DNA or genetics. In episode 3 sylvie says she doesn't want to be called a "Loki" because she isn't one. Loki and sylvie have two very different experiences and became two different people with some similarities. Originally they were supposed to play the same role in two different universes, but that changed. The "self love" bit the writers talked about is (in my opinion) going to refer to the traits sylvie and loki share. Loki learns to love sylvie's mischievousness and wit, but also realizes he has that too and therefore love himself more. Once he realizes it isn't a competition of "who is the better loki" because sylvie isn't one, he learns it doesn't matter because there is no band of lokis but individual people with similar traits. The nexus event was caused because loki learns to care about someone other than himself and learns to love himself AS WELL AS the other person. This is just my opinion plz don't attack me and if you have a different opinion then that's cool. Also credit to: that one internet meme
We're not sure about the whole self-cest whatever. To us it doesn't matter. We're just not interested in shipping them. Though we love the idea of Loki learning to love himself and others and admitting his narcissism to the Sif loop. First of all, thanks for keeping it real at the beginning about episode 3. This show is not the greatest and strongest...yet. And, E 3 only contributed to this mediocrity. Now, the few tricks shown are okay, but Marvel is doing just enough to keep things interesting. However, this episode here has started to stir some coals!! Thank you for the good reaction. In the comics the Time Keepers are the creation of the Last at the . After that they stepped out of time and created the TVA. The comics miniseries Avengers Forever explains who and what they are if you want to look.
I'm thinking Ravonna and Kang got rid of the real Time Keepers and are using the organization for their own ends.
The hair-cutting incident is from Norse mythology. It's what led to the creation of Mjolnir.

I think Loki feels a genuine connection for the first time in his long life. (she's basically him though😄) whether it's romantic on his part I'm not sure but I don't think Sylvie feels the same depth of emotion.
Although Sylvie does seem to care about him. since she asked if he was okay when she saw how distraught he looked when she walked up beside him.

I don't think being a girl is what created the original Nexus event for Sylvie. In the Norse myths, Loki changes gender and species all the time.
I also find it suspicious that they hint at romantic love between the two Lokis, but never actually confirm it. I don't think it's romantic love. I think it's self-love, as in both of them are learning to truly believe in themselves. That could definitely create an apocalypse-piercing Nexus event on its own.

I think this show is about self acceptance and the by product is learning self love (If Sylvie is lovable then so is Loki). At least that’s the story I’ve decided to go with.lol
I was weirded out by the relationship at first but I had to remind myself that they aren’t actually related. I guess they’re more like twin flames? 🤷🏽♀️

We're over our initial cringe too but we still don't believe it's necessary to turn their relationship into anything more than exactly what it is right now.

I hope the shade Mobius is throwing at Loki about not being as smart or conniving as they thought pays off in Loki’s favor. I’ve been enjoying the series but Loki’s suppose to be a master manipulator and I feel him not having a plan through most of the series downplays his character. It would be dope to know Loki has a master plan for all this and truly show how cunning he really is by the end of the series.
We agree. There is so much more he's capable of but we feel MS writes him with too many human traits and not enough DEMIGOD.

I think the relationship between loki and sylvie is romantic. It's what ep3 was setting up for in my opinion. The writers and directors of the show keep mentioning that loki and sylvie are different people. Sylvie is not like loki at all.
