I love the scene where magneto flies to the arctic because it shows how dangerous magnetic powers actually are, even compared to an omega level mutant, because he could easily have destroyed the world whenever the hell he wanted to

Episode 8 was a great episode with so much going on. Cyclops seeing Nathan again this time as an adult makes him come off as a failure. The bad blood between Cyclops and Cable. Bastion leaked the news that Charles secret of being alive has been exposed to the world. Roberto mother is hosting a fundraiser for Genosha. So her and the company can look good and take advantage of the news of Charles being alive, hurt the X-Men reputation, and lost trust in the public. This leads to an argument between Jubliee and Roberto mom. Only for her to side with the human Sentinel at the end. After he got exposed as a mutant to the party his mom and shareholders attended. I like the scene with Nightcrawler and Jean as he explains with him letting go of the past and deciding to be a family. Blood is blood. Family is a choice. I like the Summers team up. Magneto continues to be Bastion prisoner. I'm not surprised Val Cooper is working with Bastion since her disappearance in the last episode was suspicious. But you can see regret on her face. While I still agree with those in the UA-cam comments that she's Mystique. The Summers made their way through what they thought was a Sentinel facility, only for it be Bastion childhood home. Which is revealed that his mother is living there. As we get his backstory on how he got his powers. We get a cameo of Spider-Man, Doctor Doom and Baron Zemo. Now we know what Operation Zero Tolerance means as we see humans being experimenting on to become human Sentinel against their will. So the world wouldn't be just mutants, and humans won't go into extinction. Bastion mom, Trish, Roberto butler, some human protesters, and so many others are revealed to be a human Sentinels which is insane. Finally Roberto is using his powers. Wolverine and Nightcrawler fighting the human Sentinel was awesome. Especially Nightcrawler going three swords style lol (One Piece fan). As the X-Men are being overwhelmed by the number of Sentinels in which remind me a little of a zombie movie mixed with some Alien Invasion. The Summers teaming up together to battle the Sentinel was pretty badass. Happy that Magneto is free from Bastion prison thanks to Val. I love the "Magneto was right line". And save the X-Men from the human Sentinel. But something tells me that's what Bastion wanted. Because Magneto has to be part of his end goal. Finally Professor X is back the X-Men with his "To me my X-Men" line. Episode 9 another chaoic episode. Magneto is back in his original red and purple suit. Xavier sees the destruction of the mansion. Jubliee and Roberto are running from the FOH. I'm happy to see Storm back with the X-Men along with Forge. I can understand some of the X-Men being upset with Xavier for giving Magneto the title and leadership of the X-Men. Oh man, poor Rogue thinking Gambit is alive. Now, the X-Men must convince Magneto to reverse the changes he made to the earth by turning the power back on. Awesome, we get the introduction of the Blue team and Gold team. Now we know that Xavier is familiar with Bastion since he was a kid. I felt Magneto pain when he felt he failed to deliver a peaceful world for mutants like Leech. As his and many deaths that he couldn't save. I understand his reason for refusing to try Xavier way of trying to make things work between mutants and humans. I wasn't surprised that Rogue sided with Magneto. As well Roberto for his mother betraying him. I expected there would be a divide. I like the share moment with Scott and Nathan. I love Wolverine, Cyclops, and Cable suits. I love the Storm dialogue with Jean before they head into battle. Morph turning into the Hulk was awesome. The fight with X-Men Gold vs. Sinister and the Sentinel were great. I really do hope they explain the moment Jean got switch with Madelyne. X-Men Blue battling Magneto and him telling Xavier to shut up was hilarious. Sinister controlling Cable mind. I was shocked that Wolverine stabbed Magneto. But Magneto ripping the adamantium out of him was indeed shocking. This episode didn't disappoint. I'm looking forward to the finale of the season. I hope you have a wonderful day. Magneto dies in the attack and mutant kids start wearing Che Guevara-style T-shirts with “Magneto Was Right” and a stylized picture of Magneto’s face. It was Grant Morrison’s commentary on younger peoples’ embrace of communist icons as symbols of liberation without understanding what those movements turned into or that just because a movement is anti-colonial or anti-conservative/monarchist, doesn’t mean that movement’s intent is liberation and emancipation.
