- Heyyy! 🤗 welcome back! This is the first actual video that I’ve recorded for 2022 and I’m deciding to start the yr with a New Color! Sooo I dyed my Locs ginger in October 2021, but over the months my roots have grown out and and the color has faded A LOT! I was stuck between going to get it touched up with a more ginger color or just going back black…and I decided Black! 🖤 Thanks for tuning in ✨

Thanks for this video. I really wanted to go back to black hair since I’ve had my locs since Nov 21’ and they were always a color. I always used dark and lovely and wanted to see how good of a coverage it is. Your results look really good and I’m gonna definitely get two boxes based on your experience.

So I did my hair the other day and I bought two boxes but I don’t have a full set so one box was fine. I said I’ll probably go back over it in about two months or so. Now one thing I can’t do is my own retwist because I don’t have the patience lol
Definitely requires a lot of patience lol. I can definitely say dying/ washing and retwisting in the same day is not something I do often.

I want to go back to black, I put blonde on my hair once a year since 2019. I currently have not died it blonde since March 2023. I’m scared to go black because I don’t want it to turn green.
I understand. Someone commented that putting red dye drops in the black dye helps with that. I’m not sure tho, but may be worth looking into 😊
Your hair turned out great...what are you using on your edges. I'm so tired of my edges turning white

I have a question so I had a similar color to yours but when I died my hair back black it started turning green so what’s the problem
So I’ve heard of this happening but because it hasn’t to me I personally don’t know. But someone commented on this video a while back and said to put red drops in the black dye to get rid of the green color.

Remember when Pepa from salt n pepa said the relaxer on her hair messed up so she had to cut and do that asymmetrical cut? Look how popular that style is now.
How often do u dye your hair?
Not often at all…since this video I did a touch up with the black color once.
@@Neyasha that’s not bad , I dyed my hair blonde and didn’t like it 🤦🏾♂️😂i dyed it back black and it faded some , I just redyed it again . I hope I don’t have to keep doing this .
@@OfficialMoolah I feel like after dyeing it black for the 2nd time it should last longer, because the blonde is going to start to grow out and fade more. Some of my locs have subtle blonde streaks now, but nothing really noticeable.

I just dyed my locs black from being blonde. Got tired of touching my roots black and trying not to get it on the blonde part. I also didn't want to bleach my hair anymore. I had 2 boxes bit I think I over processed them and I'm worried. I definitely covered it all but one in the very back. I haven't had dark hair in years and going black was like omg what have I done! Lol... I have to get use to having dark hair again. Your locs are beautiful and super thick. Love your videos!!
Over processing is definitely a worry of mine as well. I love black hair but I’m still adjusting 😓 lol and thank youuu ✨

Hey, just wondering. What did you use to get that ginger/blonde colour?
Umm I think it was Adore Ginger, Cajun Spice, and Sunrise Orange…and Cinnamon. It was a concoction lol.

How long did you wait to do the touch up to get the spots you missed ?
Hey, it was around 3 months later.
Whenever I rinse my locs after using that dye it leaves black clumps of buildup in my hair. Any tips ???
Make sure you aren’t squeezing the dye into your locs while you’re applying it and also make sure you’re rinsing throughly. Sometimes I rinse in sections and kinda press the product out if that makes sense. Hope this helps 😊

Hi! I am planning on dyeing my blonde locs back to black. Did you wash before dyeing? Also I haven’t had a retwist in about 2 months should I retwist first or wait until I dye it?
Hi, so I believe I washed my locs a week or so before dyeing them. And because you have to rinse and condition your locs after you dye it, I would do the retwist after. 😊

Because I’ve combined some I’m honestly not sure. I will be doing a Loc count soon.

@@pamelalaurent4574 I did them in the starter Loc phase by retwisting them together at the roots and crocheting them together as far as I could.
