This is a sign for me to go back to black! I’m quarantining and have been contemplating it for 3 days. I bleached them in July and I’m over the color now! Love the black on you!
THIS WAS SO HELPFUL LOVE!! Thank you so so so much!!! I’m tireddddd of this honey blonde on my locs, isn’t aligning with me anymore- I’m a water sign with hella water in my chart too lol!! Can’t wait, going to Sally’s tomorrow 🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽
Yes I also did blonde.and was over it by my year mark. It just looked brassy so yup I went to black. At first I didnt like the black. I think because it was such a huge color change but now I love it !
Good Morning ! Loved both colors on you and so glad you found something you love as well. Just curious, did you use both tubes(the brown and natural black)? I’m also about to go from honey blonde to natural black
Mine are currently blonde and I'm thinking of going back to jet black. I wear earthy colors and the blonde is not giving the look I like - high contrast
I applied a filler, the color should be red. You can also apply red semi-permanent hair dye. This helps the black hair dye from fading too quickly. I did use a developer. Looking back I don’t think it was needed. You can just apply black hair dye over your color and it should come out correctly.
Peace n Light Queen be careful by coloring and different experiments on locs it tends to break .... as all natural hair does on African decented people as you must know. I'm a earth sign and we go off of logic and rationality also Virgos are analytical people as women but besides that . I hope all goes well on your loc journey! FYI pls in case you didn't know stick to one color or one regimen at least for one year even 6months constant changes on locs specifically is no good. Color and chemicals don't agree with locs. Again blessings on your loc journey health over hair stylish is the best natural law. Peace n Light Queen! 💯🙏🏽✨
Hey girl thank you for your input however I’m not sure where you got the impression that I experiment a lot with my locs. If you watched my ‘bleaching my locs’ video I clearly stated that this was my first time bleaching my locs in 15 months(since I started my journey). I don’t let fear hold me back with trying something different. This is the problem in the natural hair community not just loc community. Society will shame black women with doing something different to their hair especially if it goes against the norm. Of course most people knows that chemically changing the hair can cause some damage. I also stated in this video that I don’t want to keep up with bleached hair for example, constantly applying bleach to my locs. At the end of the day everyone journey is different. If people want to “experiment” then that’s their choice. Much love to you, again thank you for your input have a great day✨

This is definitely a sign. I completely understand where you are coming from. Although I had that blonde for almost 3 months I was completely over it.
Just dyed mine black from blonde two days ago... They look so much healthier... There's just something about black locs
Girl yessss there is definitely something about black hair.
I love this color so much better on you!! Fabulous job! I’m about to go back to natural dark brown too! I’m over the ombré
Also yeeees I’ve been binging Brad Mondo videos over the past few months and I am SO proud that you used that red as a filler!
His videos are very helpful. The red filler definitely is needed!

I think black hair dye at first looks artificial. Once it starts to fade then it looks more natural.
The Black is def more suitable. Looks lovely!
Thank you!

Sorry for the late response. Yes, I used both tubes.

The black looks so good on you
Thank you so much!! ✨
Your locs are beautiful ♥️🔥
Thank you!!
Do you need developer when going from one color to another????
Or do you just put the black dye over the color already on the locs?

I️ love it!!
Thank you!

Your locs are beautiful, how many do you have?
Thank you! I have about 91 locs
I think the blonde was not the right tone for your skin. The black looks so much better on you. ✨
I agree with you lol. Thank you so much!!! ✨
