- The flagship to Admiral Lord Nelson during the battle of Trafalgar on 21st October 1805 and is the most famous of the great British fighting ships. She can be visited at Portsmouth dockyard where she is preserved for posterity. Some new close-ups Pictures I took of my ship of the line. I started building her, back in 1981 -??? . The 1805 "H.M.S VICTORY ". Mantua HMS Victory. Nelson's Flagship 1:98 Scale Plank on frame hull construction (double planked) , Hand Painted and costume scratch build cradle I'm still working on the HMS Victory a very difficult model to build and rig.
Great work, served on her as a Royal Marine in 1989 and this model brought back many memories also ignore the comments about wrong paint scheme, it's been on going for decades.
The latest belief is she was more pink than yellow but then I've seen shipbuilders models from the period at Greenwich maritime museum with this colour scheme.
Was looking up rigging vids for my Victory - Revell - so this so next-next-next-next level mate. Absolutely amazing. Just... the detail. I cannot quite compute. This model of the Victory is the best I've ever seen.
Hats off to ya mate , tiz a fine job , a fine job indeed , thanks for sharing !

I thought I had a record I started the ss mariefred back 1997 and just completed it this year 20yrs later!! Lol beautiful ship mate! Worth the time I just get discouraged to build another one when I see hms victory 52" fully rig fully assembled models for $480 with shipping granted not as accurate but still beautiful and plank on hull and painted no idea how they can sell them so cheap! I bought the wasa and it's beautiful
I keep coming back to your video as I build my HMS Victory kit! This truly is a masterpiece, Mine is 1:90 scale and nothing at all like this? I am blown away by the details you created!, This is without question the best ever model I have seen! Do you have it on display at a museum somewhere???. How long did it take eo construct this masterpiece
Its Great
This is a very nice model. I would be very proud of it. I wonder how many hours work do you have in it?

SOOOOOO COOOOOOL
Well, according the actual ship's preservationists, you have the wrong "colour" for the 1805 Trafalgar incarnation of the ship.
May I please buy that for 200$
You mean many thousands
Could I buy that please
