Wildweeds - And When She Smiles

The Wildweeds originated in the mid-Sixties in Windsor, Connecticut. Their album "Wildweeds" was released in 1970.
One of the songs from the album "And When She Smiles" was often performed by the Carpenters (as "And When He Smiles") in concerts during the early Seventies, but it was never recorded by them, except for a BBC television special. In 2001, 30 years after the Carpenters began performing it in concerts, Richard re-mixed the audio track from the BBC television special and released the song on the last Carpenters album "As Time Goes By."
Here's the original 1970 version performed by The Wildweeds. I have chosen to use the song as a tribute to Karen Carpenter, because indeed, when she smiled, she DID make the sun shine...
