That's one of the coolest looking Fenders I have ever seen! And the review was fantastic!
Fender power jazz bass
One of the best reviews I have ever seen.Thank you.
I have one of these. Absolutely love it. Sounds great with a VT Bass pedal. Particularly like the HPF and LPF.
Superb Reviewer! Tech21 makes some terrific gear.
I imagine a tech 21 sansamp GT2 running into a Q strip would be a badass metal guitar rig
I honestly imagine this guy doing motion capture and voice acting for films/games alike
Great demo & explanation. I am thinking about getting this pedal, and this video answered alot of my questions. oNe LovE from NYC
Excellent review - Thank You!
wow what a sound!
Great demo, thank you !!
Never saw a Fender like this one with reverted P pickups.
What's the name of this model ?
I think it's a Fender power jazz bass
Wow! You play that bass well! It's like musical and stuff. :)
Great review........Thanks
Man what Fender PJ model is this!?! Great review
I think it's a Fender power jazz bass
Tech 21 are the best pre amp for bass
Very informative!!! Thanks
I love Tech 21 products, I have a few myself...but unless you don't own an amplifier of any kind you really don't need this live or recording. Seems like a reasonable preamp (without drive). If you only use IE monitors on stage maybe it has some use. I'd rather have a pre with drive though as many do.
TBPH, the bypassed sound was better. No slight to the box, but as an engineer, the bypassed sound was better.
Very flexible. Interesting.
You have completely misunderstood the bass guitar!
The bass guitar is not a drum.
Show us how it’s done. Video?
@@seventhplace I do not have time for trivial things like doing demos for others.
I encourage everyone to test stuff themselves .
Of course, there are too many strings attached. Your critiquing his playing while he's demoing a product. You're acting as if you can summarize the entirety of his playing by watching one quite appropriate Riff to demonstrate the features of the product at hand. Maybe you just do not prefer that type of music. Surely you have enough time to record yourself playing if you're so passionate about about the way you play your bass. I love how Jazz snobs always believe they've mastered everything. Nothing could be further from the truth there are many styles and techniques the jazz players just cannot grasp
@@seventhplace The word Jazz is so stupid because it mean nothing.
I'm not a Jazz musician, I'm a musician who always makes every effort to avoid the obvious .
A good demo in my opinion of demonstrating a bass preamp is to play with fingers, use a pick and slap / pop.
I'm not the least bit interested in musical styles and musical genres per se I'm interested in personal musical originality and creativity .
When i was a kid i also slapped my basses a bit .
Those who call themself Jazz musicians knows nothing about music!
@@pleximanic I doubt you'll tell me that you're not a fan of jazz. By the way you never answered the question about why you would judge his playing when it's a product demo. You can get as traditional as you want with finger-picking at the same time why don't you just bring it back to when stringed instruments started with picking with fiber nails.
