So when should we expect simulations to be released officially? I think I saw something about updates in April?

I have no idea when they will be released officially, as elfisho said, desmos development schedule never makes any sense. All i know is that you can get them today with the console command or a userscript.

@@LanguageBLOX1_Alt good news time traveler! the features referred too have arrived and now no longer requires javascript console commands, so you can enjoy them in Desmos! Just go to you Desmos account settings and enable beta features
