  • Insurance adjusters and contractors who are your competition don't tend to know a lot about building codes, the International Code Council (ICC), the International Residential Code (IRC), the International Building Code (IBC), the International Energy Conservation Code (IECC) or about building codes in general. If you are an insurance restoration contractor or a roofing contractor, this is your advantage to neutralize and equalize the insurance adjusters.

    A benefit of having the physical book is if you look at the outside margin by the code article and you see a verticle line, it's showing that paragraph has changes from the previous code.
