A prequel makes sense for the next installment. We need to discover more of who the grabber is,see his upbringing,the reason the way he is,the kidnappings/murders...
Good Lord, I can't get over how much Joe reminds me of his dad. Amazing writer -- like dad (I've never seen a son level up to the dad where writing's concerned, it's fantastic & couldn't happen to a better family). I enjoyed the movie quite a bit, and it's funny: I had no idea Joe HIll wrote the story behind it, but there was something Kingian about the kids in it, only they were my generation, as opposed to Stephen King's kids being more late 50s. So I looked it up, and voila. That's neat.
The cats been out of the bag for a while, should've named the video "Stephen King's son, Joe Hill Talks the Black Phone". I've read Joe Hill and he is a talented writer. I've also read just about every Stephen King book and even King's wife/Joe Hill's mom is an excellent writer.
Owen is okay, just not as consistent and often overshadowed by his other family members. He actually needs help and I don’t think he’d have been published without his dad, whereas Joe Hill needs no help at all.
