I remember watching this game at the bar. This was the game that showed me how good our Spartan defensive front was. The Michigan offensive line was manhandled all game and Gardner's fear of getting sacked again soon translated to terrible choices in the pocket. From East Lansing to Indianapolis to Pasadena our defensive line consistently destroyed the offensive lines they played against. Go Green!

By this point in the season we’d already had rough outings against Akron, UConn and a loss to PSU. But by that point I remember it being more questioning the team and certain players. After this loss people really started to point the finger at Hoke that he might not be the right guy, mind you we were still 6-2 after this game! Oh how quickly it crumbled from here

Alot of you all don't understand the complexities that come with playing the QB position. It's a position you never stop learning. Gardner took a small percentage of snaps behind Forcer & Denard Robinson(2010-2012.) when Devin got the nod in 2013 he had to adjust to a role he hadn't held exclusively since his senior year at Inkster. As a result, he struggled. And in regards to the spring game last weekend, he's under a new offense he still has to learn and adjust to the scheme Doug brought in.
And Connor Cook didn't start until like the 3rd game in that very season, so that doesn't really excuse Gardner from anything. I don't think he's bad, but he's not great. Also was hurt by terrible offensive coaching.

Max Weisenstein Cook is no where near the QB Gardner is. Gardner was recruited to play under Rich Rod's zone-read option offense. Cook is a pure pocket-passer. That being said, Gardner is still way better under center than Cook. zzDarkwingDuck Oregon always seems to have issues with power teams. With the way our offense has been playing lately, you have to like a Rose Bowl matchup (should we win the B1G) against the Ducks' defense.
