Since there was only 10 seconds left on the clock, the chances of MSU making some kind of last ditch effort to MAYBE set up a possible Game Winning Field Goal was higher to try to block the kick. Returning the ball 90+ yards in 10 seconds with no timeouts didn’t really make sense so they put all 11 guys on the line of scrimmage in a feigned attempt to block it. I don’t think it would have worked if the punt was handled properly, but instead it gave Watts Jackson a blocker to help him score.

I think he needs to go for the same reason Urban Meyer got suspended at OSU. Dantonio recruited players he knew would likely end up being charged with sexual harassment or assault at some point. Dantonio will likely be fired end of this year, especially if they lose to Michigan and Penn State, and miss a bowl game possibly.
This unreal play happened on my Birthday, I was actually in a moive theater with all my friends and family. Once cook missed that 4th down throw I was devastated. We felt like just getting out of that theater but no, we stayed and wow did it ever pay off. It's The greatest game I had ever watched.
