Let me tell you, I did an incredible, maybe the best, TAS of this track in January. It was amazing, just tremendous. I thought for sure I'd get TASer of the Year. The best TASer, that's what people were telling me. But then I got the worst news, can you believe this? The worst news of my life.
Some minor league players, these so-called "Skill Issue Pack" guys, they found some tiny little shortcut that nobody cares about. I was too busy making my TAS great to even look for it! It was rigged, I'm telling you. A complete sham.
So I had to redo the whole thing, make it even better than before to show these haters and losers how it's done. Nobody re-TAS's like I do, let me tell you. It will be the greatest TAS remake in the history of remaking TAS's, just wait!
Ok... I'm having too much fun. Let's do that again properly.
I was incredibly proud to finish my TAS of this track in January. However, it turns out there was a fairly simple respawn shortcut I missed that Skill Issue Pack players had already discovered (thanks go to Carson for recording his RTA run to show it to me), and I had no other choice but to make another one. I'm sure Jellopuff is pleased to see me returning to my old habits by TASing the same track twice in one year.
The main improvements in this TAS are as follows:
New respawn shortcut on both laps
Better movement on the long boost turn
No miniturbo on the small turnskip
More optimal SWG drop down speed
Grounded hop when switching drift directions after the SWG
The ability to copy inputs from lap 1 to lap 2 due to respawns (I only had to TAS the first 48 seconds and the last 3 seconds, the rest was all recycled)

This video changed my life. Upon reading the manifesto in this description, I transformed instantly from a nobody with a defeatist mindset and a fear of TASing to a true master, an enlightened visionary with unbounded skills in all things MKW. And it's all thanks to guru Kierio04, for he is the potter and Grassland Mountain (Beta-hotfix) is his clay; he is the ideal to which we all must aspire. I know with every ounce of my being that he will make MKW great again.
