At the beginning, I've always hoped for Olivia and Elliot, but since Barba has come along, there has been this unspoken connection between them, and their chemistry is undeniable. Elliott has hurt Olivia way worse than Barba ever has.
And Elliot still doesn't know how to behave.
Elliot didn't betray Olivia. He left but he didn't betrayed her trust. Elliot may have some flaws but Olivia knows that she has her back when Elliot's around.

Barba was and still is still the best thing for Olivia. After stabler left before he came back . He was a good replacement for stabler ❤

Amazing video. Barba looks at her and says, "I'm just passionate about defending my client" which implies that his REAL/secret client was Olivia. That is why he still defended Wheatley. He was doing whatever he could to protect her. He did enough to create reasonable doubt, but another attorney would have gone after her hard-core. His admission is emotional and touching, that he loves her unconditionally. Hope you make more Barba/Benson videos. Perhaps one to "Against All Odds" by Phil Collins? Really want to see more Barba next season.

Benson only wants to make a difference : there Stabler on one side and there is Barba on another side. Two different lives.
Barba and Benson were friends and they used to spend hours together in their bubble.
Someone walked in their bubble and made it explose. Barba had to go.
He kept in touch with Olivia anyway because he did not want to break what they have.
Stabler doesn't mind, it's all about him and what he needs. Barba sitting in a distance can see the whole picture.

Everybody was ready to riot when Olivia told Amaro that he helped her grow a lot. That she grew up more with him in 4 years than during the 12 years she spent with her old partner. But,,, that's true. Olivia was going nowhere. Just staying with her partner, protected under his wings and watching him and his family.
She had not time enough to be a mother and she was denied.
For ex, again, Paternity. Elliot's busy he asked Olivia to take his wife to the hospital. It is her day off.
And as she is so much in love with him, she says Yes. (Stabler knew she will say yes).
She had no life.
Always has to justify herself " I'm a good cop".
Now what's the reason why he left the show,, I don't know. Don't want to know.
About contract, money or who will get the girl,,, Ten or twelve years have passed.
Only happy that Mariska and Peter are a good looking couple and they are going strong. 18years.

I have always wanted to see benson and Barba together. They are both so passionate!
Ugh last night that ending gave me goosebumps. When Barba said what he did my mouth dropped to that floor. Dam he is so much better for her then Elliot. It's so sad that everyone is obsessed with Elliot and Olivia. The writers and fans alike but all I could think of was this song after the fact so I'm fangirling now to say the least lol. Barba was the only one she could confide in, never judged her, always listened, gave advice, just there for her, and likewise on her side too. Really? I saw that coming from a mile off, I also saw her stopping him too. That's why she's so damn angry at him, she feels the same way she just doesn't want to be the first to admit it, that never works out for her. The only people stuck on Unstabler are those that haven't been paying attention the last TEN YEARS he was gone, and since he's been back the ratings have been trash. Great vid. I think Rafa is a much better man for Liv and Noah. I find that Elliot is too selfish, he rush in with his heart and it often puts people in danger, especially those he loves. Rafa is more closed off, but thinks it through and sacrifices himself for others.

I still ship Bensler more than Barson but Barson was really good convinced me that the writers love toying with us. I get than Stabler has hurt Liv i mean the worst thing he could've done was to leave without a word and he did it but the heart wants what the heart wants. I think mistress bars is one of the best actors I've ever seen he can do more with a look I gesture it's amazing but more than that what I don't understand about the Powerball and some relationship it's for all those seasons you could see it it was beautiful the way the relationship was growing and I thought they were finally going to end up together because they were so good for each other. There are videos done by fans with music tracks and there's one called Barbara and Benson their story it's wonderfully done it shows how the relationship grew and how much they really cared about each other and towards the end it shows him taking her on a date with flowers and they ended up on the kitchen counter making love. I don't know did those things get dropped without airing Mrs esparza decided to leave because he thought he done what he could for the role and had other projects but I hope beyond hope that they bring him back he was the most interesting character on the show to me and it opened up new story lines. A relationship between her and stabler is boring to me and unlikely because if somebody I'd worked with for 10 years is closest they were and a partner left without even having the courtesy of saying goodbye he wouldn't get the time of day from me. I hope everybody agrees to bring Barbara back including Mr Esperanza.

Only this, it's been 23 or 24 years and the cop show has been turned into a romance.
A strong female character turned into teenager crush on some movies star..who allows her partner to behave like he wants. Get this hotel room as soon as possible.
I would love to see Benson stable together. But now I have to realizing that Rafa has so many feelings for Olivia. I kind of want to see what would happen if they hooked up.
Never saw this coming, but WOW, YES! Elliot has too many issues, and she was in a co-dependent relationship with him that was toxic. Liv with Barba makes so much more sense, and it's a HEALTHY option!
I totally agree. I stopped watching OC from the second half of season 2. Just too much dramatic heroism and too many issues. I understand the writers want to emphasize Elliot's significance in OC and how good a detective he is (and god knows I watched every episode of SVU and I was really drawn to their partnership in season 1 to 12), but really he has too much going on in his life and he sort of dragged Liv into his mess. Given what they had, how could she say no? How could she not show up when Eli was in crisis and when Kathleen reached out to her to help? I know this is how they do the crossovers, but Liv is really in a good shape now without El. She grew so much when he was not there for a decade. And I think right now, El and his family love/need her definitely not in the same way as Rafa--Rafa wants to protect her even if it could sabotage their relationship. Liv said I didn't ask you to, (when I was watching the finale I literally blurted out) but you didn't have to! She opens Rafa's heart and he's loving her--as this lovely mix shows, unconditionally--instead of El disturbing her stable life and dragging her down. I just feel that after all she's been through, Liv deserves better than this.

The other characters,,,,the show wants to get rid of them. All the focus on Stabler and Benson/ Benson and Stabler.
(twist and turn : William Lewis comes back, he picks up Benson as his significant one and they ride together in the sunset).
I honestly have never been a huge fan of stabler especially wif Liv I think Liv and barba should have had a relationship or ended up together but I mean who knows maybe hopefully one day in the future
Elliot and his family are too toxic. Why would Liv even think about getting together with him? She needs a stable person for herself and Noah. Elliot never even give her the time of day when Wheatley's men ran her car off the road. His excuse was that he was undercover. Steups.He received an award last week and never even invited Olivia to the ceremony. Cragen was there. I think if she's lonely she needs to find someone else who loves her and thinks about her welfare. Certainly Stabler doesn't.She was his partner at work and he left the job without telling her a word. What kind of a man is he? I don't understand how fans still want them together.

I am shocked that barson fans loved the episode and are happy with what happened, to me it is very clear that no matter how barba feels, Liv has no romantic feelings for him whatsoever.

While I tend to agree that Barba is very likely "better" for Liv and she deserves the kind of love and life he could give her, there's a reason she's never been able to make it work long term with another man. For better or worse Stabler will always have her heart. How many women out there have passed on the "right" guy for the more complicated one that they just couldn't let go of? Women tend to lead with their hearts not their heads.
