Quick tip I’ve discovered
for getting rid of dark spots once you’ve applied your bronzer. Get a clean spoolie and gently rub over the dark spot. It removes the extra pigment but leaves foundation in tact. Works best if you have powdered your skin before applying the bronzer :)

Bronzers are actually one of those items that I prefer to be more sheer and buildable. When they’re too pigmented right out of the gate like the Gucci bronzer, I feel that you have to put in too much work in order to blend them out.
You do the best reviews and comparisons. Your price per gram breakdown is always so helpful.

We greatly appreciate how complete you are with your reviews. That Gucci packaging is fabulous- I hope it does not suck me in. I have and love the CT bronzer. I think that if I cave in for the Gucci I would go down a shade since I have the CT in tan, that way I could use the Gucci when it is not summer.

Both the face powder and the bronzer gucci just put out r a little radiant. The powder for face has blurring to it as well, its beautiful. I just got into higher luxury products this yr and don't have a super ton of makeup so whenever something like this comes along I don't feel bad getting it. I also have the CT bronzer which I love just the same hehehehe! Awesome review as always Tara! 👍👍

Hi Tara! I love the price per gram breakdown that you do! As far as bronzer goes, I rarely use it. I just never remember. When I do, I have the original Soleil Tan de Chanel. It should last for the rest of my life! 😁Thank you.....always!❤
I hope it comes back in stock soon in medium! I didn’t like the Charlotte Tilbury- I’m probably one of the few. My favorite are Tom Ford ( I like both shades) and Hourglass (I have 3 shades). Hi dear Tara, thanks for the honest and very informative review again!!!👍🤩 Yes with Charlotte's bronzer (I have shade 2, medium) it's the texture that I really like of course, but the Gucci in shade 1: the colour!!! I like it more than Charlotte's bronzer, the Gucci is a gorgeous bronzer, shade 1 reminds a little bit of TF Terra but than a very little bit more red maybe. Anyway, loved your video, and love your honesty about everything Tara!!!! Have a wonderful day!!!🖐😘😘

Great review.... I had this in my Sephora cart too long and it was sold out again. I was thinking of getting the shade in 3 in Medium. Oh well. I have CT in Medium and Tan and love them.
just love it for the packaging alone....who doesn't like a Tiffany, turquoise blue. The colour you used was quite intense, no.4. We don't have CT in Australia so that is not an option for me. I like the tan shade but a bit lighter, must go an check them out.

What a great video! First, some completely off-topic comments. LOVE your house and landscaping...we have very similar tastes! Great minds. Second, your eye-look is SO pretty. 3rd, I had a 😂 at the black square over the license plate (I totally get why), because the first thing that popped into my head was a scene from Borat! OK on-topic. This is why I love your reviews: Thoroughness. I like the side by side comparison and the wear test. I am slightly lighter than you....I have the CT in Medium (perfectly subtle and great for winter) It was a bit light for me now, so I also ordered the Tan. CT Tan is great for me now, but I do need to be careful not to overdo it. This is easy since it's so easy to blend for more depth. FOMO got the better of me though, so I also ended up ordering the Gucci in #3, just for something in-between and with a different texture. I know #3 is lighter than both #2 and the darker (Tan....#4?), so my hope is that it will fit that gap between the 2 CTs. Having said that, the box still sits in my vanity unopened because I'm still not sure if I'm going to keep it. Mentions of patchiness definitely concern me! Your review came at the PERFECT time. Still watching though so I haven't pulled the trigger yet on whether I'm keeping or returning it. At this very moment I'm leaning toward not keeping the Gucci, because how many bronzers does a girl really need? And here I am on a minimization trend buying up bronzers, lol.. Thank you XOXO!

I have been eyeing the Gucci bronzer it is so pretty I have the CT bronzer in tan and LOVE it obsessed I have been eyeing the bronzer brush too but didn't know if I needed it.
I use the CT bronzer first and I top it alittle with the hourglass radiant bronzer it probably has the same effect as the Gucci one cause it has a little warmth

Yay I had been wondering about this! Has anyone else felt the CT one needs built up as it’s quite subtle. I actually bought 2 and 3 as I felt it wasn’t intense enough 🤷🏻♀️ Makes the CT less value if you’ve got to use it way more for colour.
I too caved in when I saw this bronzer came back in stock. I love the fact that it’s not a matte but it’s not shimmery. It gives me skin such a pretty radiance. Have you tried the Gucci face powder?

I love my Gucci bronzer, it lasts all day and the fair shade is perfect for me! I wanted to mention that a Gucci employee told me that they have new eyeshadow palettes releasing hopefully next month so I’m excited to see what they look like! We have 3 dogs, Great Dane, German Shepherd, and a shih-tzu. But GREAT NEWS. we are picking up a Golden Retriever puppy this wkd for my daughter. It will be her emotional support dog because she has anxiety pretty bad lately and even though our neighborhood and area only allows for 3, if we get this new little guy trained and certified they can't say a word. I’m so glad you picked up the Gucci bronzer Tara 🙌🏼 I’m also happy that you decided to test it over 2 days because the brush has so much to do with application in relation to the formula as you mentioned.
Now....I’m going to say that my personal opinion is that I MUCH prefer the Gucci over the CT bronzer! I bought the CT and after giving it a fair shot I decided I wasn’t going to keep it due to it looking patchy and not blending great plus the shade medium wasn’t my favorite. After getting the Gucci bronzer I loved it immediately and felt the formula is superior to CT due to the blendability, the satin formula of the Gucci vs the matte formula of CT, and additionally the tone was better on the Gucci (I got No. 3).
I would recommend the Gucci over the CT everyday all day from my personal experience. The packaging on both is stunning but the Gucci edges out CT by a bit for me. I’m glad they’re both refillable pans, that’s a nice touch.
So glad you did the video and I know you’ll enjoy the Gucci and won’t regret the spontaneous splurge ⭐️⭐️⭐️

My opinion exactly @tanhome7 the ct bronzer just does not blend easily not pigmented at all . But again we can’t compare Matt and luminous or semi sheen bronzers.. honestly it’s not fair .. but again I totally agree with how you feel about the ct bronzer ..

I have had trouble with the Charlotte Tilbury Bronzer hard-panning, it’s never happened before but has happened to both of my CT bronzers?! I love the Gucci bronzer. I bought a backup just in case, but I got shade 2 and it is very different from my Charlotte tilbury shade 2- so it worked for me. I think the lighter shades were a bit more cool. Loved the video comparison 🙃

I greatly appreciate your tips. I splurged on the Gucci, but I got shade 3 which is lighter than my CT tan and darker than my Marc Jacobs tantastic- so I have a range for all seasons. It is too pricey- I will wait for a rouge sale next time.

I have both of these (I caved and bought the Gucci when it was back in stock because - well - FOMO). I love the formula of the Charlotte Tilbury, but the Medium shade just doesn’t look quite right. The Lightest Gucci shade has a slightly more red undertone that works better on my light skin tone. Regardless, they’re both beautiful. Thx as always for your thorough review! ❤️❤️❤️

I returned both the Charlotte Tilbury Fair and Medium. The fair was too light and the mediums just didn’t complement my skin tone. The Gucci Fair is perfect- so flattering on my light skin!

Girlllll. It's pricey. If you have the CT and love it, I would pass. Even though the packaging is luxurious, and it's hella pigmented (i can't find one negative thing too say other than the price)🤪🤑 But, if you decide to splurge. You will enjoy it❤🦋

I was surprised to see that I was unsubscribed because I didn’t do that. Just FYI @taralynn. Maybe a glitch. I have two of these bronzers because I couldn’t figure what color I needed and they kept selling out so I grabbed the Medium online and Fair at the Sephora store. I like both of them. I am trying out what brush works best. I’ve been using the Scott Barnes brushes and blending blending blending. The bronzers are $50 in the UK, but shipping is high. It sort of works out the same as $62 in the states. I have Fair preordered through Saks for September 1 and need to cancel that. I never worked so hard to get makeup. Total splurge!

Tara, when you apply bronzer youre supposed to start from the ear down towards your cheek so if you do have too much product on your brush it doesnt deposit right on your cheek! Ha! That said , I still liked it!! (More is more)
I use a Sonia G big fan brush for both bronzers: YES YOU DO NEED BOTH, GUCCI for lumi days and CT for matte days, OF COURSE🤩🤩😎💋

I picked up shade 02 light in bronzer it reminds me of the tom ford terra bronzer bc of the reddish undertone but still Similar to the gold dust bronzer. It looks close to those 2 in color and blend out. The tom ford and Gucci bronzers make u look like u got some real sun, if u have the tom ford u would know what I'm sayin. I'm a light to light/medium neutral and it works for me just like the tom ford does. That's just my opinion off my 1st uses of it. Oh and I really like it btw lol.

Agggghhhh you’re supposed to tell me which one to get. I got some Xmas Sephora gift cards. Never bought the CT Bronzer because I have too many... but I always wanted it... anything CT is “my precious” ( Lord of the rings)😩😩😩 please tell me if the Gucci is that more glowing ( me loves the glow) than CT? Please help .
PS I own like (3) Rephr 22 bronzer brushes and yet I still find myself wanting that CT brush you’re raving about! Especially bcuz I own the CT bronzer! 😂🤗

I don't know about the small one but I bought the large one and they are not advertising the correct amount for the Full Sized Tom Ford Bronzer. The Full size is .5oz/15g of product. I can put pics on Instagram and tag you in it if you'd like to see but it almost made me return it just on principal. Both Macy's and Sephora have the incorrect amount of product on there.

I prefer the Charlotte Tilbury bronzer- I like products that can be built up, and I think overall, it is a much prettier flush /finish, of natural bronze in your skin, than the Gucci.🌹❤️💜

Yes, it's the Rephr 05 brush. Rephr is an AMAZING brand that offers Japanese hand made brushes for cheaper than others on the market. They are amazing. I have their entire set and I pick them up and use them way more than I do any of my other Sonia G brushes (even though I love her brushes😁). I just love them. I want the CT bronzer brush to go with my bronzer but I'm concerned about how it's going to hold up through cleanings. Can water run up in the handle or is something there to stop water from rushing up in the handle?
I thought about that too.. I'm not somebody that cleans my brushes all that often maybe about once a month. I actually have not cleaned that brush yet, but I am curious to see how it holds up. I don't have a lot of travel sized brushes so I'm not sure how that works but that's a very interesting and good question❤💋🦋
