I am a little fairer than you, and the Gucci shade one is perfect for me. It leans pink/red instead of yellow orange (like most bronzers), and that subtle difference looks so natural, pretty and healthy.
I think the Gucci looks great on you bc like you said, if you went out in the sun, you’d get that color. I think the color range just freaked people out a bit bc we’re all used to that golden look. It’s all about placement. Those golden bronzers can go all over really, but these rare red undertoned bronzers look best used ONLY where the sun would hit you. High on the cheek, across the nose, a bit on the forehead. It’s a different animal.
You know...i really like that take. I think that's true. I will try it out going forward with a tweaked placement to show more of a "natural bronze". I think it will look great in the summer.
I'm so glad you posted this! I have shade 2, and it is pretty dark. I'm about your skin tone, NW20 in Mac. I can make it work if I go easy and use a good brush. I prefer a cool toned bronzer, so this is great for me. I also have Fair and Medium in CT, and I love the Medium. Fair just doesn't do much for me. After seeing this, I will be grabbing the shade 1. It's darker than I thought it would be. Great review!
I'm so glad I found this. I have a cool toned light skin with pink undertone and I do not like yellow or golden warm bronzer. Anastasia has red undertone bronzers I use Tawny and it's natural and works well.

Wow, that is a very helpful and very honest video👍🤩, nice to see TODAY (or it is actually already sunday here), because my Gucci bronzer in shade 1 just arrived today, only swatched on my arm. I am so happy that I did not choose a darker colour! I have a bit darker complexion than yours, light medium to very little bit medium in summer, but this is really dark enough for me, it reminded me most of my TF terra bronzer which I also love so much, but than a very little bit more red on my arm, compared to on your arm. I am curious how you like this bronzer now!!! I guess I will be very happy with it🤩 And, yes, I am impressed with that CT bronzer shade 2, but actually more about the stuff, how do you say that in good English, I can handle the colour in summer, but not over the moon by the colour. This new Gucci bronzer reminded me also a very very little bit of my Marc Jacobs bronzer in the deepest colour, I believe tantalize, gonna give that one to my best friend, it's to dark for me, she has a deeper complexion, I love the other 2 Marc Jabobs bronzers more. I hate the feeling to go overboard with bronzers and look like a clown. But this Gucci one is perfect!!!! That Too Faced milk chocolate is also an interesting one, when I don't want to much bronzer on my face, or for winter. Now for winter I am stil addicted to Charlotte's Filmstar Bronzer and glow in the light colours, in summer I use the darker colours, that bronzer is also still cool toned than in the deeper shade👍, that is good work CT! So, when loving warm bronzers but not to orange: from Mrs.Tilbury we need more shades of the new one, also for people with deeper complexion between 3 and 4 I think. The jump between 3 and 4 is also big, I saw here on UA-cam.The stuff is amazing, just like her powder!!!! What I like also like about the Gucci bronzer, that it is gorgeous on people with deep(er) complexion, most colours, which is good work Gucci!!!!! I am a fair skinned 62 year old with neutral/cool undertones and absolutely love the Gucci bronzer. In use it lightly with blush or even on its own as a blush/bronzer combo. It’s the most natural bronzer I have ever owned and well worth the cost, even though I overwhelming buy drugstore.
Tilbury is smooth and gives a flawless blurred effect while the Gucci came of natural like you had a light tan but minus the blurring effect. Both look stunning on you dear.

I just purchased the fair shade and I think the cooler, pinker undertone will look natural on me. I only ever burn. I NEVER tan, so a pinker tone is more realistic for my skin. I hope I like it, for 62 bucks!!!
Most bronzers are too warm for my fair skin. The fair shade does look like a combination bronzer/blush. I hope the Fair shade comes back to sephora. Thank you for the review and comparisons.
Excellent comparisons, I've been looking forward to this. I have the CT Medium, it's a tad dark, but with a light hand, it works okay. But the Gucci is definitely not for me. I have a yellow undertone, the Gucci is far too red on my skin tone. Thanks for saving me some $$$! 😊
I agree. If you're a yellow undertone I don't think this is a great fit. Yay! I'm so glad..it's one of the main goals of my channel. and maybe Charlotte will come out with a "light" shade. ☺

Hi - have you ever tried the Chantecaille Eclat Doux face powder from 2019? If so- do you like it? I wanted something blurring, good for mature skin, but that was more translucent than the Hummingbird blur powder that everyone loves so much.,I found that one to be too visible on my skin tone.
Yes...I've used all the powders. I use the Eclat doux on camera in the Birthday Sale haul video if you want to see it in action. Definitely a lighter feel than the blurring and more "dewy"

The Gucci looks so much nicer on you. I have it and the Charlotte Tilbury fair. Charlotte makes me look sallow. It’s too yellow. Gucci looks natural on me but I have to use a very light hand. It’s definitely too dark to be called fair.
