I feel exactly the same way. I've wasted so much money on overhyped products that I end up wondering why I bought it because it's lackluster. Then months later that same influencer will say, "Oh that product isn't that great." in their year end or six month review and I feel so duped. For example, that Tati palette was raved about everywhere and then months later those same people were trashing it. I've lost trust in beauty influencers and barely watch them anymore. The more I become skeptical of them, the more entitled and arrogant they seem and I don't even watch the beauty drama channels, just normal people. I think youtube success has gone to people's heads. Tara is one of the few you can trust as she comes across as kind, humble and sincere.

I love the palette! It quickly has become top 5 for me. I can get only a few distinct looks, but it doesn't matter because it is gorgeous! I also prefer cool tones so I don't have too many warm tone palettes....perhaps people with more options may not need it. Or if they don't like toppers. I feel like a bronze goddess or model everything I use it, so worth it to me.
I'm sorry to say but I always like her reviews and believed they were honest. But comparing this review with the one she just posted today about Wayne Goss who I loved and follow btw she sound very harsh with Patrick palette and very bias with Wayne. We all agree this is a great palette which I own too. I'm just confused and kind of disappointed with these two reviews.

_I got the pallet and love it. But I do agree, maybe one topper compared to the 3. But with that being said I do love every shade in the pallet. I just wish maybe there were 14 shades and 2 of them were normal “shimmer” shades. Maybe a cooler / neutral taupe_

I love the inclusion of cream mattes along side of the powder mattes. When my eyelids were much younger, I bought palettes based on the performance of the mattes. Now with a lot more texture, I focus on the shimmers. So for me, this is a pass. Thanks for saving me the time & money 💰
i really wanted this palette but i love how you are so honest and saying that there is cons is great. i have the eyeliner and ITS SO GOOD! i think i will skip it unless PT has a huge sale

I agree that we probably didn’t need so many topper shades, but they were definitely a draw for me! I don’t have anything like this palette (I only own 1 palette… I’m still building my collection), so I went ahead and picked this up! Can’t wait to try it! I am a big fan of Patrick Ta blushes and so when this palette came out I was so excited to purchase it but for some reason (probably the price) I just held back. Now I am happy I waited. I have tried to keep a promise I made to myself not to pay full price for any eyeshadow palettes if I can help it. I was tired of buying a palette at full price just to see it later on sale. Some brands rarely go on sale but I figure there will be something else I like just as much that will. I do love that it has so many wearable colors but I will hold off purchasing it for now. I am so happy you are back from your vacation!
This was a very, very easy pass for me, $68 is more than a ND midi but far less exciting. As you said, there's literally no room for creativity and if I want the neutral look with a bit of sparkle, I've got many palettes to choose from. I love cream shadows and I do use some with my other palettes. Sorry, but I thought this was a boring, self indulgent palette. Had any REAL thought gone into it, the usability and practicality of the shadows would have seen the topper shades reduced to one, replaced by the introduction of a couple of vibrant shimmers. That would have been really awesome. Thank you Tara for such an honest and in-depth review, 👍👍👍💗💗💗💗
I can’t believe how well the first shimmer shade you used applied with a brush but I wonder why so many of the shimmer shadows are sheer and fall-out. I would expect that from a “cheap” brand but not PT. SMH I Can’t stand getting glitter all over my face from eyeshadows. Not that I was asked for my opinion haha But I think for the price you should return it if you still can. oh wow your swatches and comparisons! Look how similar to the UD Naked!

Agreed with your review! I’ve had the palette for a year now and I’m still always looking for different looks to try bc all the looks end up very similar to each other /: I love the mattes and creams but was not impressed with the toppers at all.

These looks you created are so perfect absolutely beautiful 😍 my only complaint about the palette are those toppers, or shimmers. They just have no pay off unless you really work at it. As a Bridal MUA, these are generally the tones clients go for and to have it all in one, compact palette with cream bases right beside just makes it easy. I’m really curious about those toppers though, is it similar to Pat McGrath’s formula? Because those look absolutely divine on Brides, especially on camera! 😍
I got this and I love it! I was like oh I don’t need neutrals but I knew his first palette would be neutral it’s his look. The liners. Ughhhhhh I have a love hate relationship. They only have 0.2 g of product! That’s is 1/6th of standard. When CT and PM have 1.2 grams in liners. I have 3 of them. The bronze brown shade is my least favorite. The shimmer makes it diff Than the black and brown matte formulas. Those are great but you cannot sharpen then and you won’t have time there is no product! Lol but I still use them. Idk if I’ll repurchase though
Wow that Nablus did by side palette is exactly the same but no cream shadows, I think I have some colourpop cream shadows in those colors, so I guess o don’t need this palette, but omg I want it, but thank you for saving me from myself! 🤣🤪

The review I’ve been waiting to see!!! I got caught up in the hype with the release and purchased it. I actually brought it with me when we went on vacation and didn’t use it once. I also brought my ND Bronze palette and used that far more. I know they are different but I wasn’t inspired to use the Patrick Ta palette. It seems like a lot of work to use such a basic color story. I agree that there should be fewer, maybe only one topper in the palette. They could have replaced toppers within another shimmer and a deeper matte or just another color.
I have the pallet but wish it was more cool toned! I saw a couple different pictures of it. I’ll have to try it out but now I have a pallet that may not get used as much! Love Patrick Ta stuff though!

Hello! Thank you for this in-depth review (as usual!). I feel like this palette also looks like Colourpop's discontinued Brown Sugar (without the chunky toppers and creams) but I can't find any comparisons between the two online.
How is the brown shade of the P.Ta eyeliner vs the both the Mario brown shades of eye liners? It seems the Mario’s shades are off. Am I going to get a different shade of brown buying Patrick Ta’s brown eyeliner? I appreciate any feedback 😊
I have this palette and was not impressed either. I was expecting the peach shade to be the standout for me. Instead it was a huge letdown. I also don't like the glitter fallout that I get throughout the day. I plan to return it.

I do love the colors of the palette but the fall out of the glitters is a mess all over my face and I also have pores. I don't get caught up in pleasing brands, hype from other reviews, I keep it strictly about my experience, sharing as much info as I can in order to help my audience if the product is right for them😁❤️ Regarding the fallout. I have used a glitter glue (the one from NYX is good, along with the one from Too Faced) But, it helps to keep it on the eyelid and not make a mess throughout the day😁 Also, apply the shadow with a damp brush, that may help when applying.. I've been lusting over this palette and the new ABH Norvina, I have all of the norvina big palettes and this 5th one is the prettiest to me. But this patrick ta palette it just gorgeous to me especially with the creams and shimmers. For a neutral palette I love the spin he put on it, but I was waiting for your review on it. Did you grab the abh palette?
Well, I only have 3 Lip cheats,, and only one is close to the CA lip liner. The CT Iconic Nude has a purple base, and the Nude Sandals has a brown base, and Nude Sandals is a tad darker in tone. 💋 Sorry I couldn't help more 😫
I’ve been in such an eyeshadow rut and I wanted to wait for your review. I think I’ll pass on this mainly due to the fallout. I can’t get past palettes with too much fallout.
I think the palette is pretty. I don’t know that I want to pay $68 for another neutral palette. I wish three of the shades were not topper shades. That brings down the value for me. I don’t need two cream shades, only one is necessary for me. Creams dry out in a year. We only have twelve shades and five are either toppers or cream.

Yes there is a ton of fallout but the creams and mattes are amazing. Perfect for me who doesn’t create different looks. Perfect for me when I travel

I’m really curious about those toppers though, is it similar to Pat McGrath’s formula? Because those look absolutely divine on Brides, especially on camera! 😍
I got this and I love it! I was like oh I don’t need neutrals but I knew his first palette would be neutral it’s his look. The liners. Ughhhhhh I have a love hate relationship. They only have 0.2 g of product! That’s is 1/6th of standard. When CT and PM have 1.2 grams in liners. I have 3 of them. The bronze brown shade is my least favorite. The shimmer makes it diff Than the black and brown matte formulas. Those are great but you cannot sharpen then and you won’t have time there is no product! Lol but I still use them. Idk if I’ll repurchase though
Wow that Nablus did by side palette is exactly the same but no cream shadows, I think I have some colourpop cream shadows in those colors, so I guess o don’t need this palette, but omg I want it, but thank you for saving me from myself! 🤣🤪

The review I’ve been waiting to see!!! I got caught up in the hype with the release and purchased it. I actually brought it with me when we went on vacation and didn’t use it once. I also brought my ND Bronze palette and used that far more. I know they are different but I wasn’t inspired to use the Patrick Ta palette. It seems like a lot of work to use such a basic color story. I agree that there should be fewer, maybe only one topper in the palette. They could have replaced toppers within another shimmer and a deeper matte or just another color.
I have the pallet but wish it was more cool toned! I saw a couple different pictures of it. I’ll have to try it out but now I have a pallet that may not get used as much! Love Patrick Ta stuff though!
I like the eye liners. I sadly returned my pallet. I didn’t love it. I’m glad other people love it though. I like his blushes and use those daily.

As always thank you for the swatch comparisons. I have a few of the palettes you compared with so I don’t think I need this one-right now. I might get it down the road because I think it might make a good neutral eyeshadow palette to travel. It seems like you can put together easy tasteful day to evening looks with it.
Hello! Thank you for this in-depth review (as usual!). I feel like this palette also looks like Colourpop's discontinued Brown Sugar (without the chunky toppers and creams) but I can't find any comparisons between the two online.

I have this palette and was not impressed either. I was expecting the peach shade to be the standout for me. Instead it was a huge letdown. I also don't like the glitter fallout that I get throughout the day. I plan to return it.

I do love the colors of the palette but the fall out of the glitters is a mess all over my face and I also have pores. Did you found a better solution to deal with the all over face fall out, or should I take in consideration that maybe I should give up on it. I don’t like glitters on my face.

I don't get caught up in pleasing brands, hype from other reviews, I keep it strictly about my experience, sharing as much info as I can in order to help my audience if the product is right for them😁❤️ Regarding the fallout. I have used a glitter glue (the one from NYX is good, along with the one from Too Faced) But, it helps to keep it on the eyelid and not make a mess throughout the day😁 Also, apply the shadow with a damp brush, that may help when applying.. Hope that helps🙏❤️

Lately I’ve been going to more clean/organic/ natural cosmetic ingredients, so if you have the occasion to make review of them that would be awesome, very hard to find good and vegan products, now that’s I finally found a honest reviewer to believe in 🤩 must admit Patrick has done a great job on trying to not use harmful chemicals.

I've been lusting over this palette and the new ABH Norvina, I have all of the norvina big palettes and this 5th one is the prettiest to me. But this patrick ta palette it just gorgeous to me especially with the creams and shimmers. For a neutral palette I love the spin he put on it, but I was waiting for your review on it. it’s a really pretty palette and i do like it. but it does seem to be a one trick pony. i have the ND bronze palette and it looks very similar to it.

Well, I only have 3 Lip cheats,, and only one is close to the CA lip liner. The CT Iconic Nude has a purple base, and the Nude Sandals has a brown base, and Nude Sandals is a tad darker in tone. 💋 Sorry I couldn't help more 😫

I think the palette is pretty. I don’t know that I want to pay $68 for another neutral palette. I wish three of the shades were not topper shades. That brings down the value for me. I don’t need two cream shades, only one is necessary for me. Creams dry out in a year. We only have twelve shades and five are either toppers or cream.
