Heloo, to all the people asking what the name of this track is... idk. The official OST has not been released yet and all I did was transcribe this by ear based on what I heard in the episode. Sorry everyone :(
Any news on when the ost is releasing?
@@salvajsdf I haven't heard anything, but I assuming that the OST will release after the 2nd special later in the year
Nice work, I thought first it wasnt done by you 😅
is this available on Spotify?
It'll probably release either in June or after cour 2
“We used hate, raised hate, believed hate to be our savior...
We left all the problems we created on the ‘Island of the Devils’ ..
And as a result, that devil was born.. To return the hate we gave it.”
This scene was absolutely devastating. Mappa's visuals , the voice acting and the ost were great. You did this ost justice, great job!
Shoulda seen the manga.
@@jameseddleman6944 I have. After s4 p1 ended I caught up on the manga because I knew the ending would be spoiled on Twitter, so I might aswell catch up.

@@divyamupadhyay3643 I mean music really adds. Thats why I listen to the soundtrack while I read. Something about holding the horror in your hands though is just something film can't replicate, having to turn the page even though you don't want to.
This may be the darkest scene in the whole series, this one and all the original scenes
Idk if you’ve read the manga but trust me it gets even darker

@@isaac_paech the rumbling crushing a rice field of people. From chap 134 that is yet to be animated.
Man, when they changed the Composer from Hiroyuki Sawano to Kohta Yamamoto, I was devastated but Yamamoto smashed me on my face with his amazing scores like Ashes on the Fire and this one.
You all gotta accept, the music is an integral part of the whole Anime.
well, Kohta was taught by Hiroyuki, they've also worked on some other great projects together. I would highly recommend checking out the Kingdom OSTs they collaborated on.
You can feel the horror through the tense music. Excellent.
And despair !!!
@@matthewmanson1926and even… pure dread, as you watch helplessly thousands of lives being stomped away from Eren’s rumbling
@@MysteryGeek2006 Yep, Mappa straight up did an even more amazing job of showing just how horrifying the rumbling is than the manga. Like I felt genuine dread and fear when seeing people just struggling to escape.

Dude..... I'm speechless at how insane this scene was. 10/10
Could you do it? Kill those boys to save your friends, home, country from genocide/castration(basically)?
When I first read the manga I got the chills when Eren said he was disappointed with people living outside the walls... This music helped delivering that feel so well
i still get chills to this day about that statement 🔥
@@soru2925 Indeed...Eren had a rough childhood.
Never read the manga but this was a fucking brutal scene. I'll pop back after the premiere dude, looking forward to it
This hurt me more than the manga version
if you’re just curious, go read scan chapter 131, just a bit of censorship on Ramzi's brother but it’s mostly the same
Didn't expect to see you here
@@Agent-57 Jaden's a buddy, love his channel.
@@w.o.jackson8432 Do you suffer from abuse at home?
When I learned humanity existed beyond the walls.. I was so disappointed. I wanted this, I wanted to wipe it all away. I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm so sorry.
Mappa captured this perfectly.
On one hand, they were people like him and the others on paradis. He's annoyed but relieved they are no different. Annoyed because that makes the black and white lines too murky and makes his job harder now that he's _aware_ of how everything is not so simple. But a bigger part of him hated that the lie to "protect" his people behind the walls wasn't true, the world wasn't black and white; it never was.
This is the biggest, most impactful and emotional scene in my 15 years of watching anime. After all the despair i've watched and read this is by far the epitome of it all
I mean, I'd say that the Eclipse of Berserk is more fucked up, but that one is unbeatable.
2:05 God this crescendo. Its so epic but painful. A soundtrack to tragedy and suffering.
at 1:40 you can hear the og attack on titan theme, then it goes with the new chilling melody. Absolute masterpiece.
I just noticed and damn this might just be my favourite final season ost

nvm i found it
this isn't even the official release its just fan made
bet yamamoto's ost doesn't sound good as this tho
i almost cried in this scene... i felt so sorry for these kids... but in a war most victms are the inoccent apparently.
The only ones who suffer the most in war are the innocent.
When isayama said he's gonna hurt us
He wasn't lying...
He never disappoints
Ramzi death was so horrifying, more than that of eren's mom death
Nah.
@@rikudou947yes
Yes
Nowhere close to what Eren Mom went through. Ramzi got crushed. That's a fast way to go, the only real suffering he went through was when his leg got crushed and his friend got killed, and these were short second. Eren's Mom had her legs crushed too... and she also had to say goodbye to her own children that she loved. But then, she was picked up by a gigantic smiling Griesha's ex, broken in half, and mauled between giant teeth to death. If not worse, because she could've survived it and slowly died in the fire-hot stomach moments after too. And let's not forget, Eren and Mikasa had to watch this, doubling the overall pain of the whole scene. Eren's Mom's death is by far the worst thing that ever happened in the series as far as individual deaths go. The only person that I think might've had it worse is Faey.
@@mitromney oh I'm assuming you haven't read the manga so I'm just gonna say you right and move on
1:12 The male vocals starting here is freaking epic
I watched this entire scene in complete horror, the soundtrack is a masterpiece. One of the best scenes in TV history to evoke true fear to the watcher. Can’t imagine how the animators felt.
It’s not just a horrifying theme or simply apocalyptic. It portrays pure and utter hopelessness. A truly insurmountable force. It’s terrifying, yet here you stand in awe at it’s magnificence.
Summed it up better than i could
Mappa is fucking killing it when it comes to Aot
I love this song! Congrats to Kotha Yamamoto for the ost, the footsteps of doom reference is so cool, this is an epic cover!
the beginning reminded me of juggernaut first scene in 86
Katha Yamamoto is the goat with these ost, I want to know the name of this pst, and the following when it shows the rumbling killing everyone and arriving at liberio
@@ben4life988 same, kohta and Sawano both are the goat
@@ben4life988 not out yet
As much as I love Hiroyuki Sawano, I doubt that could have a gave us an ost that nuts for this scene.
I know and heard that he compose a lots of his songs under the direction/with the "help" of Hiroyuki Sawano but still, Kohta really outdoned himself with this one, this is crazy, can't wait for the release
I have read chapter 131 so many times and seen fan works of it that I always associated it with sad, solemn music as if to represent the grim and slow march of death approaching and the inevitability of it all.
But then the anime happened.
This was nothing like I had imagined it. There was tragedy, yes, but they leaned full on into pure horror and ran with it. And this music was leading that sprint.
Yuichiro Hayashi, the series director is primarily a horror director. No one thought 131 would be adapted this way but it surpassed expectations and was so surprising in a good way. I'm glad non of the manga readers could predict Hayashi's direction. The man is so good at making your blood freeze. This has become my favourite scene in all of AoT.
@@adambowser5783 "Horror director", that's the perfect person to direct the rumbling!
I kind of expected the quiet part of Footsteps of Doom, but this is like 10 times better.
This is absolutely terrifying, but beautiful to hear! Composed fantastically.
I'm still amazed. Now I don't see how anyone can criticize MAPPA or SNK. Even those who don't like the basic manga. The episode was one of the greatest episodes of japanimation. It will mark anime history. Seriously. And then, it will complain because MAPPA want to take their time ? You have to wait to have episodes of this quality ! You see.
Go and watch demon slayer s3ep1
"I wanted to be the monster, and now that I am, I'm more broken than I ever was as a man."
That was the best 10 minutes of the whole episode
I agree I wish they showed a little bit more of the rumbling of other people from there personal perspectives running away and what they were doing not a just a quick montage of everyone being crushed
But what ever it is what it is
Amazing cover. This is in my opinion the greatest work of Kohta Yamamoto, I was overwhelmed with emotions during the rumbling and the freedom scene and a big reason of it is this soundtrack.
Fr i was blasting my speaker while this ost was playing
beautiful yet haunting at the same time
Might be one of the most harrowing, well-delivered things I've seen in years.
I know we didn’t really know the two boys very well, but for some reason their deaths broke my heart. I literally cried for almost the whole episode (im a sensitive person ok). crazy to think how far we have come. From little Eren joining the scouts to this…absolutely insane.
It's ok, I was trying to keep in my sobs bc of how emotional I felt during this scene. 😢
Im not the kind of person to get emotional when watching something fictional, but Attack on Titan has broke this streak of no-crying. I think the majority of people cried as well, your not alone.
It is ok to cry. In fact, i would judge those who where excited and laughing at this horror. But, i think, that's ok too. We were witnessing doom. Before the abolute death, laugh, cry, sing, scream... everything is ok. In that final moments, while everything makes no sense... everything makes sense.
For me, what was truly horrifying was knowing that, while this scene is fictional... the horror, the fear, the despair, the irrational deaths... all are real, all happened to real people before, and it's happening right now. In Ucrania, cities burning to the ground. In China, uigures get their own personas stolen, just to fit in chinese society. In Yemen, in Palestina, children fighting to death just to live another day. Libia. Siria. Afghanistan. Irak. Bosnia. How many times will this happen, once and once again? How many people must lose their lives, their dreams, before we realize is too much?
The feeling when this is how you find the AoT final season has released. I don't follow the news, I follow the music.
You had to have been living under a rock or something ain't no way

But yes. You see a man crying at their absolute lowest holding on to this child and asking for pardon a million times and this doesn't strike you as someone that is greatly suffering? What? A person that commits a horrible act cannot feel sorry or suffer themselves?

Bro this ost is fire!!! It gives so much vibes of "All of the Freedoms" and "Footsteps of Doom" osts of S4 Part 2
Arguably the best scene in the story. This is who Eren is.
This whole chapter was already a big fan-favourite of manga readers in general. I was both super excited and a little nervous to see how they'd adapt it. They honestly did way better than I'd imagined! This scene was heartbreaking and epic. You did an amazing job on this music here!
The music itself gives me the literal chills. It puts the horror of the Rumbling on full display.
The depiction of this particular sequence evoked an overwhelming sense of emotional anguish. Mappa's expertly crafted visuals, coupled with the captivating voice acting and the stunning original soundtrack, truly elevated the overall impact of the scene. It is a testament to your exceptional skills that you were able to do justice to the intricacies of the soundtrack - an exceptional accomplishment!
Not having these on Spotify is pain
People are mad because we did not have Vogel or anything on the freedom scene, I think it was perfect !
Thanks for this recreation, loved this ost
Vogel should of been use for this and that come on you can't use Vogel for every moment even though it's a great ost.
@@MrLennykill This Ost fits way better
@@MrLennykill Vogle im Käfig has been overused in those fan animations.
@@MrLennykill Bro what do you mean for every moment? Vogel hasn’t been used once in season 4. This was the perfect chance to use it.
@@ash_baistic3293 nah it would give the wrong feeling, vogel im kafig would make the scene feel like a good thing, when it is very twisted and far from good.
Mappa really elevated this whole scene from the manga
3:05 the inclusion of the original Vogel Im Kafig melody line really shows what this scene means in the world of the story. It’s not just the end, it’s revenge. It is the same story we started with 100 fold.
isn't it the aot main theme melody ?
@@naelmorange9179 I believe so, but the same motif is used in the second half of Vogel Im Kafig. I just think of that song first.
Horrificly beautiful
Just one word.... Wow and Amazing. Wait, those were three.
Nonetheless it sucks that I found your works so late. Another banger 🔥
This scene has become my favorite scene in TV history, the music, the animation, voice acting, the horror!!! Isayama has created a new apocalyptic scenario!!! And it's scary as hell
Not the hope that will save the day, but the despair that will end it all.
It can be hard to convey a horrifying apocalypse and get an audience to understand just how terrify a situation would be in reality. This music was the cherry on top to the most horrific animated apocalypse scenarios and they knew exactly how to portray it.
I must admit that seeing this panel animated made my stomach turn 😖
Yeah in the manga Halils head was a bit more graphic but animated, with the music and voice acting. Damn
Nice! Can't believe I only found this epic version now.
Best one I heard yet.
Literally had a hard time watching this - even knowing what was coming and preparing myself. Huge pull on the emotions.
Puedo confirmar que es una de las escenas que más escalofríos me ha dado ósea es muy épico y muy triste ver como le quitan la libertad al mundo para que esa libertad la tenga eren
Amazing Jaden! This scene hit hard. Really defined how far Eren has fallen. Great arrangement too, you're skills are going from strength to strength
mereces el cielo hermano.

This episode is 👌
That’d be interesting if the visions when he kissed Historia’s hand were actually causing him to be a self-fulfilling prophecy
Yes that’s exactly what happened and with the world calling them devils they too helped form the self fulfilling prophecy
This scene was truly peak fucking fiction!
the sound of the bells gives me chills
This soundtrack is so good
The music really helps sell this heartbreaking scene
Insane music atmosphere 1000%
Dude you work is really awesome ! 20k !!! You Can Do it !!
Eren was not fighting the world.
He was running away from it.
My god...this scene made me cry speechless...the screams the complete terror..Eren remorseful...to this child who had no idea the sheer horror the would befall him and ugh.....my god. Then him seeing Ymir before we see him get crushed..and still holding im guessing his little brothers hand. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
YOU ONLY MAKE AUDITORY MASTERPIECES❤
please im begging, can you create the OST that plays during the whole rumbling scene, from where they showed the gate to the part where it shows the freedom panel
Me too. Your rendition of that scene quite literally made me tear up. If it's not much of a hassle for you, I too would love to hear the most from the rest of the scene. Thank you for creating this!
That whole sequence was nothing else like I've ever seen with my eyes and the music supports that too
Yea that cello part of this OST was literal beauty 🤌❤️
Remember, Isayama was 19 when he started working on AoT.
Watched this like 20 times at least
I couldn’t hold my tears in this scene it was so brutal .. AMAZING COVER THANK YOU
The music made the scene 2000 times better if possible. I dont believe i wanted more for a soundtrack to get release after the "All of the freedoms" soundtrack.
Finally something that portrays the sheer despair in attack on titan, and that there is nothing you can actually do against the rumbling, and that everyone beneath eren has to pay for the sins their ancestors comitted.
This sounds really good!
this scene made chills run down my spine to this day
Man great work!
The tense in this music perfectly matches the scene 😟
When i first read this in the manga, I knew this was going to hit so fucking hard and they did it.
The fear, the devastation and sadness in the ost, such is the sound of total destruction in this scale.
Fearing the Devil, humanity has created one.
Someone please add this to SoundCloud
Yesss
Literally the endgame feeling, had to release in theatres...
Listening to this while working out
People who defend The Rumbling seem goofy to me cuz not even Eren is in favor of it, the man is crying more than he ever had in the series.
And this chilling and tragic track shows it all.
Because its the only way Paradis survives,
Eren said as much himself :p
Only reason people are in favor of it is because the options are the world goes to war and makes eldians extinct or zekes plan where they willingly genocide themselves into extinction then there’s erens plan paradis doesn’t die everyone else does and because the rumbling is cool no one truly supports the rumbling THEY do from a writing and character stand point it makes sense eren would do this people defend it because it’s an epic end to their favorite story
Just ... PERFECT
2:23 damn man!! Those blaring horns really intensify the horror of this scene.
