Planning a family vacation here for my Birthday. Which hotel do you recommend ? My brother is traveling with spouse , 2 kids. Myself just my spouse and I.
It completely depends on your budget and design preferences. The Cove/Reef are great for families who want to be a bit more secluded and it has a bit more of a sophisticated/modern design feel. The Royal is much more whimsical and it puts you next to the waterpark/casino/aquarium but it might be a bit louder with the increased size.
Do you recommend the Royal or Cove? I had a reservation at Royal next month, but they closed the hotel due to COVID, and moved us to the Cove. I don’t know if I should reschedule now or go to the Cove?
Great question! Both are fantastic hotels. The cove is a much newer hotel and the rooms will feel much more modern than the royal. It doesn’t have as many restaurants or facilities as the Royal, but if you are OK with that, it is a beautiful hotel. We stayed in a room at the Cove a couple years ago and loved it!
Which hotel would you recommend for a honeymoon? My husband and I just want a quiet and relaxing stay by the beach and good food! Leaning towards the Cove but would appreciate your input :)
Great question, my favorite place to stay is at the reef because you get the seclusion and privacy while still being in walkable distance to the entire Resort’s amenities. You truly can’t go wrong with anywhere on property.

Yes, you absolutely can! Once you are on property, you are allowed to, and perhaps even encouraged to, spend your time all around the resort! There are select areas that are more exclusive but you won’t find large common areas roped off.
It completely depends on the age of the kid. The coral and beach hotels are fantastic because of their proximity to the beach and to a secluded pool with some nice water features for younger kids. The Royal is very centrally located so if you have kids who don’t like to walk far or kids who like the waterpark (this one is closest to most of the water attractions) then this one might be for you. The reef and the cove are both a little bit more sophisticated but they do have more spacious rooms so if you were looking for a larger suite a kitchenette, I would recommend looking at those. Sorry I don’t have a single answer. The whole resort is fantastic and there are great places at each location
