Excellent demonstration. I go ahead and buy this leaf vac. It is very strong compare with the others. good price as well. Thank you so much for explanation and clear video.
I'm buying one tomorrow. Thanks for the video. Oh and the reason these have a high and low is mainly for the leaf blower side of things. Like when I leaf blow around my wife's flowers that are in a rock garden I can blow all of my grass clippings away without destroying her flowers. Cheers.
Thank you for this useful review. Today, I was in need of a leaf vac and I was standing in front of a bunch of them at Lowe's. I didn't want a gas or battery unit, so that ruled out a bunch of them. But, this one caught my eye; looked pretty good for the price. So, I got out my phone and stumbled on your review. Bought the unit based on what I saw here. Reviews that I read on Amazon were mixed, and I have no idea why. This unit works about as good as you could expect something like this to work. Any more suction power, and you would be sucking up rocks! I was also as you, impressed by the mulching power. The leaves are ground up quite fine, like you showed. You can get quite a lot of leaves in one bag. I also liked that the machine bag is well ventilated and lets air escape. My old Toro unit that died - its bag didn't "breathe" at all, I had to open the zipper a little. Also; my old Toro had a plastic fan blade - this one is metal. Nice unit; and I got it on sale today! So, thanks again for a thorough and use bit of UA-cam. Helped me a lot! Steve P. Reading, PA
I expected it to be a little faster after watching the infomercial demo. The commercial also claimed 10 to 1 bag ratio. Looks more like 3 or 4 to 1. Anyway, I've got one ordered and if I don't like it, I can just send it back. Who actually sends stuff back?
I’ve had my Toro for 10 years and it just died. I loved it but I’m tired of the cord. This one does vac better than my toro. Also, the transition from blower to vac is way easier. If I don’t get a gas one I think this is my next model. Thx for the review
I have the cheapo version, and so far it is not off to a good start. I was using a bit for the first time and I was vacuuming my Bush area and there was mulch so I had it on low because I didn’t want to suck up the mulch and risk damaging the motor. I heard something inside the area with the blade struggling to get cut and I heard this sound like it was jammed for a second. Then as it slowly came back to life, I smelt something burning. I really hope that was just the heater to my house because if it was the leaf vacuum that made that burning smell, then I cannot wait to see how it will do on tomorrow’s pile, which will be a thorough rake and vacuum of my front yard. Update: it did fine. Wasn’t a fan of the blower when trying to make it go into a pile tho
So far it still works as good as it did on day one. The zipper has never gotten stuck from debris, that was one thing I was wondering about myself and was glad to see it wasn't an issue.
HONESTLY not impressed with the 120V vac/mulch function of this unit. Needs . . . 1) A much more powerful/faster motor. Makes a lot of noise and that's it. 2) Larger hose with larger connection points at both ends and not reduced to avoid clogs 3) Reduce mulch ratio to 12:1 if you have to but leaving it like this will take me all day to clear my measily 800sf front yard that has to be done avg. 13X a season . . . I might as well keep raking and scooping. I think when Ego comes out with their 56V it will do the job right . . . when it comes out . . . they do have the power. I don't mind paying a little extra for good tools made right.

Thanks for the follow up feedback. Got me looking into it. Wondering how much your the sale price was.
7:55 the LOW setting is for blowing flowerbeds so you don't blow the pretty flowers away, but just the tree leaves.
The best I had so far. Really good one.
Great review video! Thanks for showing a practical application
How do I detach and disassemble it to ship back?

Going to buy one now.

mulch ratio is probably 4 or 5 :1 as are ALL of these machines no matter the price. The mulch is fine. All the manufacturers are stretching the truth.
Thanks for sharing, this was very helpful.
After a year of use, how have you found it to hold up? Does the zipper get clogged up at all from opening and closing it with all the debris near it?
So far it still works as good as it did on day one. The zipper has never gotten stuck from debris, that was one thing I was wondering about myself and was glad to see it wasn't an issue.
Works better then the worx vacuum leaf one
good video i was just looking for a worx

This munchine is way too small for my Yard.
How does it do with cedar ?
Thank you
Low is for the blower mode cheese

I want this. Lol. So bad
