    That looks like so much more work than using a blower and a rake. I like the shredding/condensing aspect though. Also your demonstration and the video of the product was fantastic. thanks

    you make this look easy.....my experience is opposite.,...everything works perfect in a perfect situation...just like those paint edgers that only work on brand new perfectly straight units...
    my experience the mulcher stops because it sucks up something such as a piece of plastic bag....sometimes even a branch....the only way to get it to work again is to take apart that big black hose and its not that fun taking it off...
    it works fine if its all leaves but that's assuming you're in the perfect situation....sometimes there are things under those leaves like plastic wraps, branches, rocks etc.....
    also dumping the leaves after taking off that bag is a headache not too easy....its way easier and faster to use a rake.....but since i spent the money on this thing i try to use it as much as i can.....
    i am trying to find away that i don't have to use that bag because it is quite annoying.....
    i'm glad you're having success with yours but for me i wouldn't recommend it unless you are in the perfect situation..... where there are only leaves... but a solution for emptying that bag is needed

    I mow the lawn with a bag attachment. They basically vanish from the lawn and I dump the bag into the compost bin.

    Fold over the top 1/2 to 3/4 edge all around the bag starting at the half round cut out area and it will stay open and firm.

    Hmm. The wheels are cool but I agree w/ the other comment the bag seems cumbersome. I suppose if it was a back-pack, you'd have to take it off frequently which could also be a pain. So not sure how that is improved. What's nice about the mulching feature is that the leaves will decompose faster in a compost heap. So less likely to use the bags - this can result in good garden soil quicker.

      There are for sure some design improvement that could be made. The ability to add a shoulder strap would be a good addition.

    I think it's a good deal for a small yard, it gets a little heavy but I just take my time, It won't work if you take the vac tube off with the battery in.

    11:22 you should recommend this to all landscaping companies thru your channel who don’t do the job right. I’m in hammonton NJ and the people here 99% just uses a blower and blows everything that they trim from the sidewalk to leaves away from their house🤦🏻‍♂️. It’s ridiculous, like if a product like this video doesn’t exist. You should do a video that shows a vacuum is 1000% better than a blower

    Looking at all the leaves on my grass and thinking I want them in the compost bin. I have 1.5 acres. No way! I’ll do it with the mower.

    What about lifting the height setting on a rotary lawnmower and sucking them up into the catcher.

    Isn't it a pain when the bag is swinging around because it's full and heavy? What about making a small pull cart and attaching it with a 8-10' connector hose?

    • @JeffSeetonLawnCare
      @JeffSeetonLawnCare  10 місяців тому

      That is not a bad idea at all, I am sure that something could be 3D printed. I didn't find it to be too cumbersome but I could see it being for many. Of course the user doesn't need to vacuum until the bag is full.

    Might be useful around congested beds, maybe roof cleaning, similar small jobs but even in a small yard this wouldn't be my go to.

      It definitely works and definitely compresses the leaves. Personally I mulch the majority of the leaves on my property, and my client locations, using a mulching mower. I would use it, for sure, as a support tool to my current process. I could see homeowners using it in the spring to suck up dandelion heads that have gone to seed or in the fall to such up around crabgrass to pick up their seeds. It could also be used for when folks let their grass grow too long then cut it and leave those grass lines on their lawn.

    If it mulches could u go Bayless and just mulch it onto you lawn?

    • @JeffSeetonLawnCare
      @JeffSeetonLawnCare  10 місяців тому

      I wouldn't recommend it. As it mulches it creates a ton of dust that is captured in the bag. Without the bag you would be breathing in that dust, not to mention being covers in it. Also, there could be a chance of you being hit by flying debris and a potential of injury it you were to accidental but your finger into the exit hole. You could simply mulch them with your mower: ua-cam.com/video/jHVTWtfSEdg/v-deo.html

      In Texas those Live Oak leaves are very small and the lawnmower will not pick up half of them, so I like the leaf vacuum to go behind mowing & mulching.

    Looks pretty bad and reviews on Home Depot's site aren't great. Sure if you have perfectly dry leaves and tiny tree or two dropping them this might be useful? What about for people like us who fill 10-15 of those paper bags packed full per week for 3-4 weeks?

    • @JeffSeetonLawnCare
