Great advice on taking pictures for eBay. I agree that you want the pictures to be presentable but not take forever trying to make them look perfect or photo shopped.

I take not working for me.somethings missing. How do you match your pc to your iPhone. I click the upload from mobile button on my computer and instructions pop up to sign in as same user. Heck I’m in my photos on my phone. I’m confused my wife is confused.

My question is regarding problem with zooming picture when it is uploaded.
So, when I follow eBay recommnedations regarding size of picture which is 1400x800 px it is ok. My pictures have white bacground (but normal one, pictures taken on white background which is a bit gray, not as yours - nicely white)
But i cannot do both, whiten the background with online tools and make it in this size so customers can zoom it while looking at the product.
Please, can you give some advice?
Thank you Zejneba. I appreciate you watching and your kind remarks. Yes, it seems that the Ebay adjustments will only lets us adjust it so far before it gives that red alert. I would work on your lighting. A ring light from Amazon is a necessity in my business. I have a link to the one i use that was very reasonable. Then you should be able to do more adjustments in Ebay. Also when you take your pictures try the 1:1 setting for square pictures and get as close as possible but still leaving white space evenly on each side. Hope that helps!
ive been having a problem with ebay uploading pictures. It has a new library separate from my camera library and if I forget one picture I cant get back into my camera library . When I need to create a listing it only pulls up photos from the ebay library. Im so frustrated with this.

I currently save like 10 - 20 drafts on computer then begin to upload pictures with my phone like you were saying. Still takes foreverrr from my phone on each one
Hi Dezd, sorry to hear that. I have recently skipped the last part where i return to the computer for further editing. Just drafting from computer, then opening draft in ebay mobile app, taking pics then listing. Has helped to make it even faster. I know listing in general can take time. May i ask what type of phone are you using?
How do I upload photos to my ebay listing from my Kodak EasyShare M530 using the USB cable that came with the camera?
Hi Yespub, thank you for your comment. The best way to do that using USB cable is to download it onto Your computer maybe saving it to pictures or your desktop. Then opening your eBay app and pull it in from there. Let me know if you get stuck I’m happy to help

Hello, are you referring to Ebay? If so, try to start your listing on your cell phone through the Ebay app then take your pictures within the app to pull it in. Let me know if you are able too. Take care :)

How do you stop the app from saving to your phone's memory?
Unfortunately the only way i have taken care of that is to delete my Ebay pictures taken on my iphone after listings are live. There is a way to do a easy slide and select to make this step faster too.
I don't have a problem uploading but I have a problem with my pictures are unfocused ard hard to see. I have tried taking pictures from my phone and using photoshop. i have tried all the icons under the uploaded photo on the listing to make it sharper and adjust the brightness and nothing is working
Hi Lisa, sorry to hear you are having a problem with your photos being blurry. What are you using to take pictures with? Also have you tried adjusting your lighting and maybe using a tripod to help?
How to add several photos to the listing at the same time ? I have to add one photo at a time and dig back through all the photos to find that particular item for each photo. It’s eating us up on time. There must be a better way to do it, if anyone knows how please share. Thank you
Hi TheRedHawke, in my iphone i can add and swipe across all the pictures for that listing and then hit upload and they upload at once. But it does take a few seconds for them to upload. Hope that helps- let me know if you have any other questions.
@@PaladinGlobalMarket I’m using an HP Acer laptop to build and post my listings. I just can’t find a way for eBay to allow more than one photo at a time. I may just have to learn how to do it all on an iPhone. Thank you
Simple, use laptop or desktop to create listing, use phone to take pictures and save as draft. Go back to laptop and resume listing, pictures are there!

@@PaladinGlobalMarket I also tried the Wi-Fi transfer but you still got a drag the pictures to your desktop, the good thing about this is that you can use a high-end camera :)
Awesome! Yes I have tried several different ways too, including using my nice Canon which is fun but took longer. So far, my iphone is my favorite way because of speed, except when i want to show friends and family pictures and my iphone is filled with ebay items instead lol. But its all good. WOW - WHY DID THEY CHANGE THE LISTING FORMAT! LAST NIGHT WHEN I TRIED TO START LISTING IT WAS ENTIRELY DIFFERENT WITH NO OPTION TO LOAD PICTURES FROM MY PHONE AND VERY SMALL PRINT I COULD HARDLY READ. DID I MISS SOMETHING? I ALSO THOUGHT I HAD MORE FREE LISTINGS FOR THE MONTH AND THEY SEEM TO BE GONE. I STARTED LISTING IN SEPTEMBER WITH NO PROBLEMS UNTIL NOW - EVRYTHING WAS SO EASY. I WAS ABLE TO GET PICTURES ON AS YOU HAVE SHOWN BUT I WONDER WHAT HAPPEN TO IT JUST BEING ON THE LISTING SCREN. DO YOU KNOW WHAT IS UP??
Sorry to hear that you had that issue. They did just change the mobile format. The photo upload part is the very beginning now in mobile and it has a plus sign to upload pictures. Each seller gets 200 free listings a month. But if you have set your items on good till cancelled then they renew every 30 days and count towards your 200. You might want to consider an small Ebay store to help, if you don’t already. Check out my most recent video on Ebay fees explained to break down the listing fees and ebay store benefits. What if the phone belongs to a different person than the ebay account
As long as you have your Ebay log in and don’t mind logging into it on the other person’s phone- then there should be no issues.

Hi Lemky, no you shouldn’t due to copyright laws but instead just take pictures of the item you are selling for Ebay. You can also use the prefilled listings on Ebay. But I always prefer just to take my own photos so there are no issues or misrepresentation of the item I am selling. Good luck!

I must be damn well thick as hell, but for the life of me, I cannot get any pictures I take from my android phone ( I use Chrome) to upload onto eBay. I can do it with a camera via USB cable, but this phone is so darn frustrating to upload to eBay. The photos with the camera are in no way as good as the phone camera so I wanted to use the phone instead. Guess I will have to give up as I have looked at so many UA-cam videos now

I moved onto an Android phone a few months back and wanted to use that for the pictures to go onto eBay. But for the life of me, I can't get them onto eBay at all, as I can do it with a camera but the picture quality isn't there. If I could get them into a file on my chrome computer, I could get access to them there. But I can't get them on there either. It is probably me that will have to work out to use the phone I think, but it's so damn well confusing. Thank you again. Charles
@@charlesforeman9438 i know that can be frustrating. Hang in there. In the ebay mobile app it should give you the + sign to take pictures right into your Ebay listing. I know androids are different from iphones but should be able to take pictures right into the app. Another thing you could do is take pictures on your phone and then upload them to your Google drive so you can pull into your Ebay listings from your computer instead.
