Facts. Not to mention, the concern for Meghan goes beyond just her mental health; Harry has publicly said that the media was treating his wife like they treated his mom, and they killed his mom. He was genuinely scared for her life.
like when sam smith was talking abt their mental health at the beginning of covid and everyone was like "go cry in ur mansion with all ur money" like bro they're still battling mental issues. money doesn't cure trauma, mental disorders/issues, or the struggles that come with fame
@bunnie that's not the point, its not okay to harass someone online. Just because you go to therapy doesn't mean you are immune to feeling upset about receiving hate online, especially if its leads to de@th threats, r@pe threats, or doxxing
unpopular opinion: people need to separate fictional characters from the actors (ex. Draco Malfoy/Tom Felton). I understand liking fictional characters and stuff like that, but some people tend to overs*xualize fictional characters way too much to the point where they do it to the actors too.
Exactly, in this case they aren't sexualizing him, but "Hunter" from Ginny and Georgia. People are attacking the actual actor and saying terrible things about him. He even said that he's talking a break from Instagram and he isn't looking into his DM's for his mental health. I get that the character in the show may have been annoying but that doesn't mean the actor is.... It just goes to prove how good of an actor they are and how well they can change personalities for TV. Yet people fail to realize that and they blindly go and speak terribly to the actor.
But also the draco fandom is soo weird to me! Like draco isn’t even supposed to be attractive, just because tom Felton is conventionality attractive doesn’t mean draco is. Like they need to stop romanticizing draco he it terrible! Read the real books and not Wattpad!
Honestly, yes I am apart of the harry potter fandom and my god I see it everywhere on Instagram and I don't like Draco but people seem to forgot that him and tom are different.
I hate when people say that straight people especially males are dressing lgbtq for the asthetic. Why can’t we just dress how we want without caring about about how u identify. Clothing doesn’t have a sexual orientation. These people are the same ones that say stuff about toxic masculinity but judge fem straight men. They wanna change standards to match they’re view
i don’t think the issue is about people not being “allowed” to wear what they want, but it’s more so there are people who do these things for attention and clout and then are homophobic and transphobic at the same time when lgbtq+ people are the ones who pioneered gender non conforming fashion. obviously not all straight people who present in gender non conforming ways are like this, but there are a large number who Are and they’re getting credit for things lgbtq+ people pioneered. that’s the problem.
Literally. The ancient Greeks thought the pants that Persians wore were too feminine. The whole idea of what is ‘masculine’ in terms of clothing etc. is such a modern thing. Historically men were popping off with their fashion statements. A lot of people blame one dude in recent history (Beau Brummell) for making male fashion became kinda bland in comparison. So like go off and dress however the f*** you want.
the issue is that when they do it they get praised but when we trans and queer people do it we get backlash and hate crime. But yes they dont need to be called out their fans mostly should be called out for being perfomative
Its because straight men get praised for it, and are considered "brave", "edgy" etc (along with criticism, to be fair), but when a gay man does, it just invites abuse and criticism.
Here's an unpopular opinion: skincare tiktok and youtube have gone to quite a toxic level. Like they tell people to not smile so you don't develop smile/fine lines. Don't cry, that will dry out your face. If you use X ingredients, you are destroying your skin but we won't tell you why. If you break out or have acne, you clearly don't take care of yourself or are ugly which is not a healthy mindset to have about yourself (also it's not true). Also, the constant push to buy more and more products that will "help" when it's just capitalism preying on your insecurities. This is not me saying that you shouldn't take care of your skin, just be mindful about people's intentions and if this is yet another push for unrealistic beauty standards.
YES EXACTLY!! They try to get you to buy like so many products you DO NOT need. All you need is a cleanser, moisturizer, and sunscreen. I would say you could have 2 treatments maximum cuz otherwise you’re overwhelming your skin. Tik tok really makes you think you need so so so many products
@@thatgirl4702 exactly!! ppl need to stop blaming capitalism for "profitting off of insecurities" because even though it is true, the individual is the one making the decision...and if people could use their brain, they would not give into scams because it's literally common sense??? like i know that drinking juices for a day isn't going to get me to 105 pounds, so i'm not going to buy it. also, while we're at it, why is wanting a smaller government inherently racist? do ppl rlly trust politicans and the government that much? am i missing something??
sex work can be empowering for some women but not everyone. the idea that female empowerment is being sexual and appealing to the male gaze is really annoying. it's different for everyone and people need to recognize it.
I definitely agree. I will never judge a woman for doing sex work. Of course it can be empowering for some, but I feel like women or sex workers in general do it as a way to make ends meet. They don't really see as an empowering thing per say but view it as job you need to do in order to pay the bills. In this economy I don't blame people for doing sex work. It's probably the only way they can make money to support themselves.
they definitely shaded him about this beforehand but there might’ve been a new and bigger wave of hate after the grammy win cause of the increased explore

"Billie needs to change her style and aesthetic, she will become irrelevant" WHY can't we just let artists be artists and do what they are passionate about??
This is so true, and above that i feel like Billie is one of the artists that changes her style the most? I feel like every album of her is a different style..
I hate it when people make jokes about shawn mendes’ sexuality. when he and camila became a couple, the gay jokes didn’t stop. some people are still stubborn. he said he is straight, why are some people still pushing that he isn’t
Right. Like what's the obsession? Let's say he was gay then what? Like is knowing that you knoew before anyone else give your some sort of satisfaction or something. Both of them on numerous account have labeled themselves as straight and I find it disrespectful how people that dk them are trying to tell them different. It's like when people gaslight gay people and say that "oh you're just confused". Like imagine some walking up to you and just assuming your sexuality and are trying to push their beliefs not to you. Like just let people be. 🤦🏾♀️
Like I was so confused why people were saying he was gay I thought it was a joke until I saw other videos and people were just saying he was .Like he said he's not so he's not unless he says he is he knows who he is. It must be exhausting for people to question ur relationship left and right
Shouldn’t be normalized bUT not criminalized. It’s fine but not recommend-if we become more educated we then become more likely to be safer when it comes to drugs.
also i believe arianas new album is meant to sound like puppy love. not supposed to be super deep or anything. shes just starting to believe in love again so shes relearning love. her past deeper albums were from hurt. shes learning how to be happy again. she said in a few different songs she doesnt know what to do abt how shes feeling (i.e. safety net she questions if she should love like that again and even says she doesnt know if she should "fight or fly"
I think the main reason James isn't being "cancelled"/heald accountable because his fans are so young and will right off every valid criticism as homophobia. I have the same ideaology for Nikita Dragon. Edit- it's disgusting how people weaponize their sexuality
Right it pisses me off we can hold him accountable without bringing his sexuality into it like I went on his tiktok and I was so surprised that like everyone pretended nothing happened
personally i haven’t listened to after hours so i can’t speak on that but blinding lights was one of the biggest songs of the year and it didn’t even get a nomination
harry never said he wanted to be a gender bending icon harry literally said "i like to wear women's clothes and men's clothes" he's trying to put a message across that clothes has no gender, and he can still be a full man while wearing those types of clothes
With the Oprah thing there was an interview that resurfaced with Mary Kate and Ashley where she was talking about how lots of magazines were accusing them of having eating disorders. She then went on to ask them what size are they. They were very clearly uncomfortable. Idk if there's more things but yea that was pretty rude.
She’s also questionable because of her support for her “dear friend” Harvey Weinstein during the time when his accusers were coming out against him. When at the same time she did a whole production for her “dear friend” Michael Jackson. It’s messed up that she would support a man who was alive and could defend himself. Especially after her multiple MJ pieces made her BIG bucks.
Her asking Michael Jackson if he was a virgin and if he bleaches his skin to look white....like wut...she makes people uncomfortable and does not care about it just to get juice out of her interviews
Harry Styles not being the first man to gender-bend with his fashion does not take away from the fact that it is incredibly important and courageous to dress however you wish. In general, dressing out of the boxes we have been given is still new and anyone who does it is also brave and I am proud of them because they are having fun and not giving two rats ass about what some random bitch has to say about it.
thank you exactly plus he never claim to be ground breaking nor the first one to do anything neither did the fans and people always come at us as if we said that when we didn't. people should be able to wear what they want and express themselves however they like
I’m not a major Billie Ellish fan but I think it’s easy to see and assume that she’s not too bothered by whether she’s relevant or not. I don’t think she’s in the industry for immense amounts of commercial success
Stans taking pictures of their favs without their consent is not okay. Fanpages uploading those pics and literally letting everyone know where in the world a certain celebrity is, what they're doing, with whom, all of that stuff is not okay. It's creepy. Fans of the modern world are creepy and feel like their favs owe them info about their personal life.
I feel bad for Shawn. I deal with the same issue people think I’m a lesbian because I have a lower range voice and dress in jeans and tees baggy hoodies ect... it always offended me because boys have told me my voice is too deep.
Also wanted to expand a bit your clothes don’t define a person sexuality your voice /hair basically physical appearance doesn’t mean a person is apart of any sexuality. So make a consensus effort to stop using that as a way to define sexuality.
I believe that a soulmate is someone you choose rather then finding them. That is why I also believe a soulmate doesn't have to be a lover but can be a friend or family member or someone who helped you a lot.
that’s how i feel too!! i’ve made some very strong connections w very random ppl that i think abt for the rest of my life. i also have a few friends that i clicked instantly w n have a very deep connection with. both being extra meaningful to me because i struggle very hard to socialize w ppl n keep friendships! n i also think there’s more than one soulmate we all have.
i saw a post that really summed up "not all men" really good way, it was comparing men to if you have a pack of apple juice boxes and then someone told you that one was poisoned, you'd still be cautious of all of them.
its so disturbing when ppl obsess over celeb's sexuality or speculate like harry fans (not all j sometimes). like its hella creepy and sorta rude when you start to push it onto the celeb themselves.
as a SA survivor who strips for a living, I do feel that sex work is empowering. it helps me embrace my sexuality again and feel comfortable in my body. and it feels really good to feel that I'm in control of my own body. now, I do have to take mental health breaks every now and then because it does get overwhelming sometimes and can be really triggering. but it's helped my healing journey a lot ❤
i personally don’t like the concept but that’s just my opinion. i’m not gonna belittle you especially if it makes you feel better. i hate when people say that it’s either empowering or degrading when it’s actually both. some women are empowered and some women aren’t. i’m really happy that you’ve gotten comfortable in your own body again because i understand that sometimes those experiences make you feel less than human and i’m so so proud of you. i just thought i’d share lol
I relate to this. I am also an SA survivor and sex work has helped me take back my body from those who took it away from me. I find it so empowering and I love it. I am glad you look after your mental health and don’t let sex work take over when you need a break. You go ❤️❤️
i love harry also and i guess what the people with opinions about him tried to say that he gets too much credit, but I kind of blame the fans who put him on a pedestal and treat him as if he is the only and the first man to ever wear pink
I do think his fans put him on a pedestal because that what their supposed to because those are HIS fans just like every one else puts their favorite person on a pedestal
Harry gets a lot of hate too. what you think is fans putting him on a pedestal is actually them trying to be louder than his haters so he doesn't see it
@@user-qp5xh9ky4t Exactly all H literally does nothing because people that don’t know him hardly see him but he gets unnecessary hate for doing what he wants and people getting upset because he’s praised or complemented
Yeah and he never claimed to be a gender bending icon. He just likes wearing "mens" and "womens" clothes. He definitely isn't the first man to this, but I still it's important because he's so popular and is teaching so many men to be comfortable with what they wear.
I casually came out to my mom, my grandma and my brother (I'm bi). They had a conversation about a person that was lesbian and it started a dialogue about being gay. They all agreed it wouldn't be bad if someone comes out but it's extremely weird bc *GAY* So I just told them that I like girls too and the reaction...priceless. My grandma was shocked, my mom was confused and my brother became awkwardly silent. I laughed my ass off
Assuming Harry Styles is straight and then shitting on him for dressing more feminine “for the queer aesthetic” goes so against what many queer people (including myself) preach. If we want people of all genders to wear what they want without having their gender or sexuality questioned, we cannot then police people’s presentation just because we assume are straight or cis. You can’t determine a stranger’s sexuality from their aesthetic or dating history. From my perspective as a queer person who repressed my sexuality for years, I’d much rather let a few attention-seeking straight people slide than accidentally criticize actual queer people for using the “queer aesthetic” (whatever that is 🙄)
I feel the same way. I’m bisexual, and a woman, so maybe my own opinions about straight men wearing more gender non-conforming clothing is a bit unwarranted, but I really don’t get it. I always stand with the ideology that you should just go with what you want to do, despite sexuality, etc. if you’re a straight man who likes more “feminine” clothing & lives a more “feminine” lifestyle, okay?? And?? Honestly, even if straight people do it “for clout”, who cares? They’re still normalizing a deeply rooted issue that’s spread across multiple countries & cultures. I myself have seen the recent impact in suppressing men’s need for expression. My father (whose part of a much older generation) had a severe mental health crisis; and during his therapy sessions, he was encouraged to relearn, redefine, and embrace his masculine and feminine sides. This has encouraged him greatly to want to take better care of himself both in appearance and real life, and also to not be so concerned about the heavy burdens society places onto him (being a provider, a protector, etc). Through him, I realized how deeply hurt many generations have become due to the stigma of men being non-feminine. Is it wrong to want to do it “for clout” especially if it’s unauthentic to yourself? Sure. But does a lot of good come from it anyway? Absolutely. Just let people do whatever the fuck they want.
i actually think toxic masculinity is a thing because of misogyny, as in: some men (or society) look(s) down upon femininity and act masculine in a toxic way, to not being seen as feminine
Omfgggg u worded wat I've thiught about the double standard within the industry sooo well. Ppl like Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, Ariana Grande have to consistently reinvent themselves and give "eras" of their music that is constantly new and interesting but men are NEVER held to this ridiculous expectation. Dua Lipa, Jessie from Little Mix and Katy Perry get relentlessly bullied for not meeting the standard for female artists of being impossibly beautiful with incredible synchronised dancing while also singing perfectly on stage. Men like Shawn Mendes, Ed Sheeran n Justin Bieber have never had to try even to do something new. Fully wear t-shirt and jeans on stage and get no backlash. It's just ridiculous and exhausting and I'm not even a celebrity damn.
Also why would Billie need to change her aesthetic at all? 😳 if she's happy with her style, our opinion about her appearance shouldn't have anything to do with her relevancy. Wtf lol
Yeah, it prove the point that women have higher standards, they always say women, should have more variety of songs, constantly having to come up with something new, or having to prove themselves, but they never said this about men ! Man get praise for the bare minimum and women get hating on and cancel for little ! 🙄
@@Lpnous absolutely. Men in the industry literally keep the same dusty looks their entire careers and women have to sing, dance, be hot, dress cool, be relevant on social media. Tooo much pressure!
People wish Billie were becoming irrelevant bc they're tired of seeing her everywhere but the truth is that she's far from irrelevant and her record on ig is proof of that lmao 💀 Just bc people have a privileged position doesn't mean that they don't suffer from mental health, they're regular ass humans just like us, but with money and people need to understand that, you don't know what their lives are like. Yes, Harry isn't the first one to defy gender bender fashion (?) but he's an example for the more recent generations, so that's a good thing, Mary. Plus he never said he's straight and the aesthetic concept is just all around stupid, people wear what they like, period. Asmr is not for everyone, but to say it's creepy and what not is very silly, the asmr community is very broad, is not only people whispering, lmao asmrtists do all types of content so yeah just say you don't like it and move on!! 😌🌼✨
Also unpopular opinion: if you live near a thrift store, sustainable fashion is not only attainable but cheaper. I get better clothes for cheap at my local thrift stores than I ever have from somewhere like Forever 21. I know some people have issues with places like Goodwill and how they treat their employees, but what’s worse: buy from (for example) Forever 21 and benefit from literal slave work or buy second-hand from thrift stores and benefit from a bad work environment that at least pays all their employees minimum wage? Not to mention that there are lots of local thrift stores that aren’t chains. Sustainable fashion is extremely accessible if you live anywhere near a thrift shop.
even if u don’t live near a thrift shop, I think that sustainability is very attainable. unfortunately, there’s a false narrative that you need to BUY your way into a sustainable lifestyle when in reality, sustainability is all about avoiding overconsumption. the most sustainable clothes are already in your closet. our society needs to start treating clothing purchases as investments rather than casual purchases. and we need to stop staying in this helpless mindset of “oh, I’m low income so there’s no possible way for me to live an eco-friendly lifestyle.”
I absolutely agree that sex work is real work and it should be respected but not glamorized. I’ve seen an alarming amount of underage teenagers online talking about selling feet pics and barely 18 year olds striving to be OF creators. It’s nearing grooming territory.
The hate Oprah is getting may have generated from people being mad at her for turning her back on Michael Jackson: She was a supporter and fan of him for years; she repeatedly mentioned how she had a huge crush on his brother Jermaine Jackson; she also personally got to know him when she interviewed him in 1993 (I think) at his Neverland ranch and asked him to address all the rumours tabloids and the media made up about him. However when the Neverland documentary (mockumentary) came out in 2019 she completely turned against him as if she never even met him before.
I think a reason why James isn’t held accountable is bc his young audience has short attention plans. It’s more than his fan base and sheds light on a bigger issue in our society today which isn’t being discussed. It’s lead to us not feeling anything when we cancel people bc we send them hate and death threats then two minutes later it’s just forgotten but those people have to deal with it. It isn’t unwarranted but we should seek to help people not just shame them into conformity. Sorry for the tangent thanks for coming to my Ted talk :)
I don't understand qwhen people say harry styles uses gender bending fashion for clout. He was in one of the biggest boy bands ever so already had a huge platform as a solo artist so didn't need to do anything dramatic for attention (not that wearing femenine clothes is dramatic). It just shows he truly loves experementing with fashion and he's said himself in multiple interviews how much he's into fashion. Just because he wore more basic clothes during the 1d days doesn't mean he suddenly thought about dressing differently. He clearly had to dress in line with his bandmates as they were a collective group but during the end of the band you could see him gradually start to be more himself.
Quick note: not sure about anything else, but I did recently see a vid about Mary-kate and Ashley with a clip where she asked mary kate her size, called her skinny while she was 16 and had an ED... Left a SUPER bad taste in my mouth
@@xdwatertheflower8058 what's your point? When has it been okay to berate a young girl constantly harassed by the media about being too skinny...and asking about her size...

Your response to the plastic surgery opinions reminded me that Snitchery did a great video on why she stopped getting some cosmetic procedures and got her filler removed. It’s a vid that was both pro-choice with plastic surgery but also informative about her real life negative experience and concerns about the way in which filler use can cause a “cycle of swelling”/facial dysmorphia (kinda). Super informative and worth a watch if you’re interested in the subject
I feel like this is happening with Dove Cameron. She is so young and her face is already completely different from the first season of Liv and Maddie. It’s really unfortunate.
for fun, what if we saw "soulmates" less like "we literally share a soul" and more like "this person encourages me to find my true self and be that person and i do the same for them and we can see and bring out the absolute best in each other" bc then that way it's more like this person can see through u to ur soul and they LOVE IT
agree everyone loves to talk about how “accepting” they are and how much they “support” ppl who talk about mental health issues and mistreatment from higher powers but then bash megan for telling her own story another example of ppl picking and choosing who they wanna support
When you were talking about shopping sustainably, thrifting and shopping secondhand is a very sustainable way to shop and it's affordable (it helps to extend the life of the clothing). Also, you don't have to feel as if you have to buy super fancy and expensive items to be sustainable, the most sustainable thing you can do is to use what you currently have until it runs out or breaks and then switch to a more sustainable option! Small things like bringing your reusable bags to the store and using a reusable water bottle make a big difference! Just putting it out there!
Idk I feel like that’s praising her for doing the bare minimum when people shouldn’t be put on a pedestal for having basic enough morals to condemn SA🤷🏾♀️
@@silversoulss5663 I don’t think that my comment was praising her at all. She has a ton of issues that I just do not like about her. However she has actively been speaking out about the blog squad for years regardless if people listened to her. So I would say she has been doing more then the bare minimum to bring this stuff to light.
i feel like the point that should have been focused on for billie is that she doesnt NEED to change, she's being herself, doing what she wants and making content she is proud of - so why should she change in order to stay relevant?? idk just a thought but what matters most should be artistic integrity, not staying popular. you cant even argue that she needs to change in order to make money either as the girl is well off as is, losing some public interest wont negatively impact her life. at the end of the day, she can do whatever she wants, its not our place to try and make her change
i disagree with the sex work idea. a lot of young girls, like myself, are influenced by older women who think sex work is empowering. Like i am sorry but they need to stop with that narrative because telling girls to make an only fans as soon as they turn 18 is not ok.
I agree that mental health isn't an excuse for bad behavior, but I also feel like so many people who claim to be mental health advocates don't understand that mental health issues CAN make a person behave irrationally and it goes a lot deeper than just being sad or some shit. I think when mental health gets ugly people are surprised like they didn't know it was an illness. You should at least be educated on a subject you want to advocate for...
So on the trisha thing, she did apologize to the trans community through a few tiktoks i believe? She explained how ill informed she was at the time and was trying to explain her gender dysphoria in that video and didn't know about nonbinary and genderfluid so she genuinely thought she was trans. She also explained how she just wasn't educated on the subject and has grown and learn from it. Not saying the video was acceptable or anything, just explaining her apology. I do think she is on the way of changing and growing just seeing her actions and words the past few months (that's just my opinion), although I think she still owes a few people/communities dedicated apologies as well.
what about the person with did. if i remember correctly they said they experienced suicidal thoughts? my memory might be sketchy on that one but i know for a fact that they got a new alter from it. that was recent as well. there are better people saying the exact same things trisha does because all dhd really says is basic anyway. its sll just sexism bad homophobia bad and thats really it
okay i love how many times you mentioned the “mental health isnt an excuse, its a reason” because my therapist and I talk about this all the time. Just because someone has a mental health issue doesnt mean they can “get away with” causing harm to others. it can explain why they did those things but there still needs to be an equal punishment. as someone who struggles w many mental health issues i get really annoyed when i see ppl use mental health to absolve them from consequences of their actions.
Unpopular opinion: How the press treated Meghan, and others this year like Caroline Flack, should have raised more awareness about the concentration of our media. 3 companies in the uk control 80% of the press and facebook alone controls 3/5 of the social media we use to get news from. They are getting around competitions laws and some of them are owned by right wing billionaires who still have a say as to what goes to print.
I'm a trans dude and in my opinion ppl go too hard on Trisha for the trans thing. People simultaneously say that cis ppl questioning is OK, taking a while to figure out your gender is OK, gender and appearance aren't the same thing, etc. She said some dumb shit while questioning her gender and since then has learned and apologized and also imo, seems she may be gender fluid or nonbinary after hearing her continue to talk about it. However I only watched secondhand accounts, not her actual video about it, so idk how offensive the stuff she said was. I'm inclined to believe she's just misguided in a lot of opinions, and I like her, but at the same time yeah she continues to say problematic shit constantly
I think people need to research celebs/influencers before they choose to support them. Like I get you don’t want to ruin your idols, but you need to know who you are stanning.
Unpopular(?) Opinion: Personally, I think watermelon is overhyped. I don’t hate it, in fact I think it has a very unique flavor/texture, but so do oranges, cherries, etc. I just do not understand why watermelon is considered exotic and special compared to other fruits that are also unique. Also, what are your thoughts on Olivia Rodrigo’s new album?
Yes! I'm so fed up with people talking all that sh*t about Harry. He didn't have much freedom regarding his clothes, hair or makeup, especially when he was still in the band. But he clearly always wanted to experiment more with his look and even with all these restrictions for some people he still managed to be "that extravagant looking one" in 1D. He always showed nothing but support and love towards people of any age, gender identity, sexuality or race, he doesn't even use social media much, he NEVER claimed to be a gender bending icon. All his concerts look like huge Pride Parades because people feel so comfortable with him. Because of how understanding and inclusive he is. How the hell can you talk about toxic masculinity and then accuse straight men of "dressing lgbtq" for aesthetic?? Clothing and makeup doesn't have a gender, that's the WHOLE POINT. Also: assuming that someone is straight, especially when they've clearly said that they don't wanna put any label on themselves, is just disgustingly disrespectful. Yall should focus on really problematic celebs if you're so bored.
The only issue I have regarding the "Not all men, but we don't know which men" statement is how, if you replace the word "men" with anything relatively taboo such as certain religions or races, it can become very dangerous.
it’s not to demonize the group. if u said that abt buddhists when they did nothing wrong, ofc it would be straight up bad. but lots of men do lots of shitty stuff, and it’s a very real thing how women are scared of all men at some point. the “we don’t know which men” is the truth, it’s not trying to demonize men. we’re scared, and the fact that ur uncomfortable w it won’t change it. when most men stop being assholes, then we can change the phrase.
I 100% agree. I’m a women and I don’t fear all men, I just look out for red flags and when I see one I stay away. People should just be saying “stay cautious” or something like that. Anyone could be a bad person it’s not all men and certainly not just men.
Unpopular Opinion: Calling someone insecure as an insult is toxic. Insecurities are human, you don’t know what people have been through, you should come to them from a place of concern, not attack them. Insecurities are a big deal and can lead to many other health issues, insulting someone for them is adding to the problem.
I’m going thru addiction and the withdrawls are killer but your videos help me keep my mind off it so thank you you’ll never see this but just wanna say that ! It’s hard being addicted to a drug but people like you that put on content like this it’s interesting it helps my mind a lot love you Luke

@@sandraeskandar7404 sorry. i guess i just worded it badly. i do agree with you fully, and you're right that we have a long more way to go with accepting girls being fully masculine or not adhering to beauty standards. however, a lot of the times people would rather accept a women wearing masculine attire than a man wearing feminine attire. this is because men wearing feminine things somehow makes them weaker or more pussy (stemmed from misogyny)
Soulmates are different from twin flames. you can have MULTIPLE soulmates, and they can be your friends. Twin flame is the word i think they were looking for.

I understand why people would want to avoid certain groups of people, and that’s fine, but that doesn’t stop them from being a bigot.
Yess! I think it's okay to be wary of people who are a part of a certain group that has harmed you in any way but it doesn't give you an excuse to be a complete a-hole to an individual who happens to be a part of that group and hasn't directly hurt you.
1. Meghan does not deserve that hate she gets. There's no excuse. It doesn't matter how rich you are, no one should have to deal with being pushed to the brink of self-harm. 2. About the sex workers opinions I have a series recommendation, Sky Rojo on Netflix. It's not the best (as it was written by a white man), but it sure is bringing the problem into the peoples eyes. I think when people talk about sex work in Tik Tok or another social media they do not take into account that the grand majority of female sex workers are victims of human traffic, or that their only option of making money is by selling their bodies to man. And that is not empowerment, that's abuse.
Most people don't choose sex work for empowerment. They choose it because they need money. And sadly sometimes it's the most available option. I see nothing empowering about the fact that women need to choose sex work because they can't find any other job. And I think that's Inherently sexist
Honestly i really like how well spoken you are, like, sometimes i am a bit like ''huh'' when you say if you agree or dissagree but then you explain it and it all makes sence
I love these types of videos bc it makes me see things in different ways (if i disagree) without being disrespectful or harming towards one another we can simply and respectfully disagree which is absolutely normal
when it comes to individuality, sex work is great and all but at the end of the day is yet another way women play into the patriarchy and mercantilize our bodies. Your body your choice but let's not pretend like it's some sort of feminist empowering move when all you're doing Is glorify the hypersexualisation of women. I feel like soon enough it will also have an impact on younger and younger girls who will start to hypersexualize themselves at very young ages (not like they haven't been doing it until now). TL:DR its a power move for you personally but sex work has never and will never be empowering to women as a whole. This is not to say sex workers don't deserve respect and the freedom to do what the want with their bodies of course. At the end of the day, if it helps you navigate this patriarchal world, do it.
yeah, my sister really likes trisha paytas and says that she likes borderlines stans her and i was so confused, like did she suddenly not offend the trans community, DID community, and countless poc?
Here's mine: people need to stop treating actors like public property. Honestly, it's so creepy that people invade celebrities' privacy, harass them and their friends, family, and partners. You don't have a right to a celebrity's body and life just because you like their work and think they are hot. Oh, and to all the 13 year old girls out there, Tom Holland is a 24 year old man. He's not a kid, just because he's short. He's a grown man with a job, and probably has a mortgage. You are just a kid who is way too overly obsessed with an adult actor you will probably never meet in your life. Stop harassing him, his family, his friends, and his possible partners just because you like him.
its unfair to say trisha offended the entire trans community. Trish has said multiple times and even DR DREW agreed with her that she has some form of gender identity disorder. People deserve second chances and i think its pretty clear that she is turning her life around and no longer in a meth induced psychosis..
As an afab demiboy, I agree. I think that gender identity and being trans is a lot broader than people believe/want to believe. A certain gender means something different to everyone of that gender and I think that genders are like colors: we have no concrete words nor synonyms to describe them. You simply just are that gender, and being recognized as such makes you feel seen and happy. I strive for a world in which even cis people can have hormone therapy if they want without their gender being questioned. It’s definitely something I see possible, as a trans person that does not want any of the effects of hormone therapy (I do want one, but it’s pretty personal since it has to do with my genitals, but it’s not enough for me to take the risk of getting other effects). But that’s just my opinion.
@@ambarcastaneda4763 I love that! thank you for sharing. I totally agree and i love the analogy you used. I think many people are confused and they are desperate to define themselves ( at least I am ) and (I) jump to conclusions
@@turtleface59 Oh no, don’t worry, I agree with you. I just meant that people probably think that Trisha can’t be trans because of certain things she said (like being completely comfortable with her agab). But that doesn’t mean she’s not trans. You don’t need dysphoria to be trans, and thinking that you do is very harmful. I for one only feel dysphoric about my chest and pronouns, but literally nothing else about being afab bothers me. In fact, I’m more comfortable with the social role I was given due to my agab than the one amab people are given. I just wish gender roles didn’t exist at all. It shocks me that people don’t seem to realize how strictly connected to gender roles gender is in our minds. It’s to the point that I feel alienated even in trans spaces. That’s not to say that trans people can’t want to be more like the gender role assigned to their gender (that could just be how they really are) but it gets to the point where it’s seen as a requirement. Even most feminine transmasculine people are expected to have at least some masculine traits, whether it be physically or in terms of their personality, etc. It’s really exhausting for me and the reason I’ll stay mostly closeted for now. But oh well, sorry for rambling. Side note: we should really talk about gender euphoria more, as I didn’t even know it existed and it was the way I discovered I was trans.
harry has stated many times that he simply enjoys dressing the way he does and it’s just another way to express himself like it is for everyone else. he never claimed to be a gender bending icon. people just love to jump onto the hate bandwagon and all that accomplishes is distracting from the more important issue here: everyone should be able to wear whatever the hell they like! harry isn’t the first to play around with his fashion and he won’t be the last but he’s still making a difference and that’s important!! also about oprah: she’s close friends or at least was close friends with david geffen who is really sketchy and disgusting. there’s probably more but that’s all i know
David Geffen, yes. I actually heard of him yesterday and googled him and researched about him. He is one hell of a sketchy guy. Why are people not talking about it? And Oprah she was friends with Weinstein Harvey, and also many sketchy people.

I hate when people dismiss the mental health of celebrities just cause they have money
THIS. I hate it so much..
Facts. Not to mention, the concern for Meghan goes beyond just her mental health; Harry has publicly said that the media was treating his wife like they treated his mom, and they killed his mom. He was genuinely scared for her life.
Yes. Then they wonder why so many celebs commit suicide
like when sam smith was talking abt their mental health at the beginning of covid and everyone was like "go cry in ur mansion with all ur money" like bro they're still battling mental issues. money doesn't cure trauma, mental disorders/issues, or the struggles that come with fame
You see, that can’t happen with anime characters unless you have a thing for the VA.
Like rodrick lol

Yes! Sex work should just be work, it's doesn't need to be empowering.

I'm asexual so I really hate it when people generalize women's empowerment like that
I definitely agree.

From my perspective as a queer person who repressed my sexuality for years, I’d much rather let a few attention-seeking straight people slide than accidentally criticize actual queer people for using the “queer aesthetic” (whatever that is 🙄)
As an extremely feminine afab demiboy, thank you sm for this!! 💗
@All American Teen it means assigned female at birth. Thanks for trying to educate yourself!

Harry doesn’t dress as he does for the “aesthetic” or nor did he say he’s a gender bending icon he just wears what truly makes him confidence
i actually think toxic masculinity is a thing because of misogyny, as in: some men (or society) look(s) down upon femininity and act masculine in a toxic way, to not being seen as feminine

Just bc people have a privileged position doesn't mean that they don't suffer from mental health, they're regular ass humans just like us, but with money and people need to understand that, you don't know what their lives are like.
Yes, Harry isn't the first one to defy gender bender fashion (?) but he's an example for the more recent generations, so that's a good thing, Mary. Plus he never said he's straight and the aesthetic concept is just all around stupid, people wear what they like, period.

Very popular opinion: these videos never get old
Fr I enjoy them alot
Thrifting and shopping second hand is not sustainable for all body types though! Just wanted to point that out.
I absolutely agree that sex work is real work and it should be respected but not glamorized. I’ve seen an alarming amount of underage teenagers online talking about selling feet pics and barely 18 year olds striving to be OF creators. It’s nearing grooming territory.
y’all hating on harry because he is spreading positiveness with clothing and he never said anything about being the first to embrace it
The hate Oprah is getting may have generated from people being mad at her for turning her back on Michael Jackson: She was a supporter and fan of him for years; she repeatedly mentioned how she had a huge crush on his brother Jermaine Jackson; she also personally got to know him when she interviewed him in 1993 (I think) at his Neverland ranch and asked him to address all the rumours tabloids and the media made up about him.

He clearly had to dress in line with his bandmates as they were a collective group but during the end of the band you could see him gradually start to be more himself.
he also always embraced his feminine side since the age of 16 he loves what he wears and doesn't care what others think.
Quick note: not sure about anything else, but I did recently see a vid about Mary-kate and Ashley with a clip where she asked mary kate her size, called her skinny while she was 16 and had an ED... Left a SUPER bad taste in my mouth

You can dislike Trisha and still appreciate that she is coming out against David.
However she has actively been speaking out about the blog squad for years regardless if people listened to her. i feel like the point that should have been focused on for billie is that she doesnt NEED to change, she's being herself, doing what she wants and making content she is proud of - so why should she change in order to stay relevant?? idk just a thought but what matters most should be artistic integrity, not staying popular.
you cant even argue that she needs to change in order to make money either as the girl is well off as is, losing some public interest wont negatively impact her life. at the end of the day, she can do whatever she wants, its not our place to try and make her change
i disagree with the sex work idea. a lot of young girls, like myself, are influenced by older women who think sex work is empowering.
Yes, I agree 100%

To be fair, Caroline Flack is very problematic.

Also, what are your thoughts on Olivia Rodrigo’s new album?
when talking about soulmates, we are said to have multiple. they can be romantic or platonic ofc:)

7:15 misogyny is _specifically_ defined as dislike of, contempt for, or an ingrained prejudice against _women_ not femininity. Femme men are _Not_ women. If misogyny was described as an ingrained prejudice against feminine individuals then this would apply to femme men. Toxic masculinity *primarily* affects men.
Toxic masculinity is described as a narrow and repressive description of manhood, designating manhood as violence, sex, and status. It's the cultural ideal of manliness, where strength is everything while emotions and vulnerability are viewed as weakness.
they are not saying that feminity is only for women. but they're saying that it's more socially acceptable for girls to be masculine because masculinity is MORE ASSOCIATED with men. not masculinity=men. and it's not that cool for men to be feminine, because feminine is "weak" because it's ASSOCIATED WITH women. they're not saying that feminity = women. but they're saying that it is associated more with women than men, which is why men dislike it. they see any man who is feminine as weak. i wonder why?
@@user-nx1vh4ej9q they were clearly mixing two terms with completely different meanings.

I’m talking about people who hate white people, or people who hate Christians (but respect other religious groups).

And I think that's Inherently sexist

when it comes to individuality, sex work is great and all but at the end of the day is yet another way women play into the patriarchy and mercantilize our bodies.

@All American Teen she’s underage lol
edit: i realized this was unnecessary but still
Here's mine: people need to stop treating actors like public property.
