Maybe because as of now majority of James Charles's audience are young teens and children who don't understand what's really happening. Like my younger sister used to be a huge fan of him and she didn't even understand anything from that stupid apology video after I explained to her what exactly happened and how dangerous it is. Unsubscribe events are less of a big thing now that the subscriber count has changed. You can only see the first 3 digits of the subscriber count now so you can't see subscriber drops until it finally hits one of those digits. For individuals with millions of subscribers, you can see very little impact from unsubscribing. Iirc, the change in how subscribers were shown actually came as a result of the bye sister scandal where these mass unsubscribe fests were occurring. Less bandwagoning happens now.
There’s a lot of missing parts in this. The easiest one that comes to mind is that when it came to stolen designs from Teddy fresh, James DID send Ethan a private message saying it seems like they indeed copied their original design, but didn’t care enough to resolve it. So that was a huge problem, that he denied publicly and then agreed privately that the design was a blatant copy. And there has been a lot of details and situations in this video that I wish were said but weren’t. Not very thought out Also I don’t believe he needs to be allowed to use socials, he showed a pattern of inappropriate behavior despite the fact his career was almost ruined because of that. Same things as what happened to Austin Jones, only jailtime made him stop.

I know I’m late to the video, but I thought I’d also throw in the fact that James had obligations to hosting a Meet & Greet at DragCon, but instead of attending, released a post claiming that he was sick and couldn’t attend/host his own Meet & Greet out of concern of “hugging and speaking to his fans” while sick. However, he made time to actually attend DragCon with friends, skipping the queue in several lines to meet his favorite Drag Queens. He would speak to their security stating that “He is James Charles, the Male Spokesperson/Face of Covergirl” in hops that his status would gain him rights to skip lines other have waiting HOURS to stand it to meet the queens. One of the only Queens to check him was Valentina, a Latin Drag Queen who at this time, was casted on a season of Rupaul’s Drag Race. When he approached her queue, he said the statement above, and she told him that he would have to wait in line like everybody else to see him. In which he said he was “happy to do”. The general fan base were livid at the fact that he claimed to be “too sick” to host his Meet & Greet, cancelling last minute, but had the time to attend DragCon himself.
Honestly I forgot about him, I wished we could all just stop talking about these people and giving them publicity, but nice video anyways, it will inform people of all the stupid stuff he’s done

Unsubscribe events are less of a big thing now that the subscriber count has changed. You can only see the first 3 digits of the subscriber count now so you can't see subscriber drops until it finally hits one of those digits. For individuals with millions of subscribers, you can see very little impact from unsubscribing. Iirc, the change in how subscribers were shown actually came as a result of the bye sister scandal where these mass unsubscribe fests were occurring. Less bandwagoning happens now.

There’s a lot of missing parts in this. The easiest one that comes to mind is that when it came to stolen designs from Teddy fresh, James DID send Ethan a private message saying it seems like they indeed copied their original design, but didn’t care enough to resolve it. So that was a huge problem, that he denied publicly and then agreed privately that the design was a blatant copy.
And there has been a lot of details and situations in this video that I wish were said but weren’t. Not very thought out
Also I don’t believe he needs to be allowed to use socials, he showed a pattern of inappropriate behavior despite the fact his career was almost ruined because of that. Same things as what happened to Austin Jones, only jailtime made him stop.

We stan Luke, but we don’t stan YT demonizing his video (Didn’t see ads in the video) purely because they stand behind their golden boy even though he’s an absolute horrendous human being. His privilege got him to the top and his disgusting disregard for sexual abuse against children got him to where he is now.
He has had so many chances in the UA-cam community after his blatant racism + stealing from smaller creators to having 12 underaged boys recently come out about his inappropriate behavior towards them.
The best thing we could do for James and his mental health is de-platform him at all cost, educate and guide him with kindness and then hope he seeks extremely expensive therapy and practices healthy change each and every day.
How and why am I supposed to feel bad for privileged people who only abuse the privilege some people will never even get a fraction of.?

I know I’m late to the video, but I thought I’d also throw in the fact that James had obligations to hosting a Meet & Greet at DragCon, but instead of attending, released a post claiming that he was sick and couldn’t attend/host his own Meet & Greet out of concern of “hugging and speaking to his fans” while sick.
However, he made time to actually attend DragCon with friends, skipping the queue in several lines to meet his favorite Drag Queens. He would speak to their security stating that “He is James Charles, the Male Spokesperson/Face of Covergirl” in hops that his status would gain him rights to skip lines other have waiting HOURS to stand it to meet the queens. One of the only Queens to check him was Valentina, a Latin Drag Queen who at this time, was casted on a season of Rupaul’s Drag Race. When he approached her queue, he said the statement above, and she told him that he would have to wait in line like everybody else to see him. In which he said he was “happy to do”. The general fan base were livid at the fact that he claimed to be “too sick” to host his Meet & Greet, cancelling last minute, but had the time to attend DragCon himself.
