Bhai mere pas 1 zebra finch ka pair liya tha in 2021 and it 4 year and four month later her male partner died and they have 2 male children and I think she will become lonely so I keep her children with her but she laying egg so I think her children were inbreeding so I i seprate cage but she I laying egg continually with out a partner she have laid atleast 7 false egg so I am thinking to sell out her male children because they are just below her cage what to do please reply ?
It's common for a female finch to lay eggs without a male. To prevent her from continually laying eggs, you can leave the false eggs in her nest. She might stop laying more once she feels her nest is "full." and separating her male children is a good move to prevent any unintended breeding. Ensure their cage is comfortable and they still get interaction time and make sure she gets a balanced diet rich in calcium and consult a vet if needed.
