Imagine a crossover game of Rampage where you travel trough dimensions, and each dimension you get a movie monster as a playable character, like Godzilla, Gamera and King Kong. Each dimension would have bosses, they could be Ghidorah, Legion, Iris or Biollante.
The final boss would be Larry, getting revenge for not being put on the Rampage sequels

Me and my bro have the the midway arcade collection for gamecube. So we grew up playing the orginal rampage. Me and him played world tour at our dentist office when we were younger. Such great memories. Keep up the awesome work MIB.
Did you know there's actually two secret characters in Universal Tour? I'm pretty sure you unlock them both through codes, but they're really just pallets swaps of Myukus. Although they do have their own stats.

I’d love an HD Remake Collection that collects World Tour, Universal Tour and Through Time with all of the monsters from this Era (Plus Larry the Rat) to be unlockable and playable.

I honestly adore Rampage Total Destruction! Even though the wii's motion controls are hard to get used to, once you do it is hilarious fun! The monsters constantly eat people, belch, and fart, and a lot of the people make funny satirical comments while the chaos is happening, and it also has about a billion characters. The cutscenes, music, and graphics are pretty great too!
Needs a remaster for the Switch with normal controls + even more playable monsters 👍.

What's funny about Univeral Tour is that I actually remember playing that, both on N64 and the Playstation, but these things were RAMPANT in those hotel-bound systems where you had to pay to play. Who else remembers those?
Universal Tour was the game I game I played as a kid so I'm most nostalgic for that. I like something about the darker and less toony art style, though I'll be damned if I can say what.
Although funny thing, I was renting it, and I was so miserably bad at games back then I didn't see the space levels until years later.
I literally just watched the Rampage episode yesterday and now, I get to watch this!
My first Rampage game was total Destruction, had so much fun with that game and i played it for Hours...never did unlock all the monsters but i still loved it, when ever i think of rampage that's the game that first comes to mind

If they make a new Rampage game one of the player characters should be Dr. Betty Veronica either in a mecha or with a Ultraman/Zone Fighter type transformation.

Now I want to see a sequel to the Rampage movie in which they feature mutated animals based on the monsters from the original game's sequels.
My guess for how they can be reimagined:
Curtis: The second rat that's taken
Boris: A mutated rhinoceros from an African wildlife reserve
Ruby: A lobster that was captured by a trawler, she suddenly mutated and ate the fishermen on board and the fish in the net
Harley: A mutated warthog from the same reserve Boris came from
Vern: A mutated vampire bat that lived in a jungle near Venezuela
Myukus: Instead of an alien, he will now be a mutated banana slug (so he's Myukus in name only)

I really loved playing both World Tour and Universal tour with my bro. Ultimately I prefer World Tours' colorful visuals more, and I just thought Lizzie looked weird in UT.

Great review man! I spent way too much time playing these as a child as well lol. My favorite was always world tour and my go to character was Lizzie. World tour was my most favorite because of the comic art style and having a kid crush on Veronica haha.

I played World Tour a bit and LOVED Universal Tour as a kid. Played it with friends and we had a blast on ps1.
I remember buying rampage through time at a flea market for $5. After playing it for awhile,i hated it. Luckily i resold it on ebay for way more than what i paid for
Classic, sleepovers and pizza and rampage universal tour was my jam in elementary

UT because of Boris (rhinos are my 2nd favorite land animal and a Rhino Kaiju is awesome).
Actually Rampage universal tour on N64 was the first and only Rampage game I ever played. Okay not only I did play the first game (arcade version) once.
I’ll say this, these monsters made my childhood. Enough said.
Finally the sequels

I had Rampage World Tour on the PS1. Bless my Mom, she thought Lizzie was Bowser or Yoshi or something. I was like “this isn’t Mario but…” Me and my cousin played this all through the night. His Mom was mad we were up so late and made us turn off the game. We were in the final stretch too.

I prefer world tour over universal tour for three reasons. First, universal tour overuses foreground elements like trees to an annoying degree. I can not tell you how many times I got shot off the side of a building by a tank that I couldn't even see cause it was hiding behind the trees. Second, in all three of the tour era games, you can break a window in one punch instead of two or three if you hit it in the center. The world tour buildings are designed in a way that always makes it clear where the center is, while in universal tour it isn't always clear (see the building Ruby is climbing at 6:13 and look at its textures and you will know what I mean). And the most important reason I like world tour more is cause it's the only one that has Dr. Elizabeth Veronica.

I'll say I may be the only one who want them to return but with some ideas. Give an option for single player, multiplayer, or help by A.I.s (but keep that optional). Choose one of the classic trio or your customize monster. Have unlockable monsters per level or with collectables. Have the monsters have special skins, kinda like how some fightings did like Mortal Kombat, Street Fighters, or Killer Instincts. Have different story modes, one if them including the movie and have them as separate monsters with their set of skins. Have the visuals look like stop motion, some small level of realism, or like intense yet hilarious cartoon, just put down what you think would look appealing but true to the title. And for fun, have a sandbox and allow player to create their own and show their levels.
Oh and no microtransaction. Reason why is that many sees it as a business trapping their consumers. As there are developers do give what they will promise, most would asked to play while paying their games as there will be new controversies under the same issue. Business wise, that's how we pay to developing team in this time of era. Since more would say "digital is the future, get yourself some WiFi," there still a chance that we would get a full content by a release alone, just like the old days before dlcs......
In others words, #@&$ microtransaction.
