I run the off shore tackle in- line boards. The are pretty much considered the gold standard! Franks Great Outdoors sells them with tattle flag kits already installed, and for a good price too
@Walter Paul I'm just now seeing this message. It's Sunday May 24th. I'm not sure why I'm not receiving notifications of my comments, but I'm going to reset it again and see if it helps. I did see your number. When would be a good time to call?
Hey, thanks for watching. I have the 1875. It's a sport-top. It's a must-have for me. Protects from the rain, cold water/wind, and hot sun. Easy to set up and take down. Be sure and give me a shout if you have any more questions, and don't forget to like and subscribe 😊
Hey, thanks bro, and thanks for watching. I feel as if trees have definitely upped my game. I've always thought they would be too far out of the boat, but that is not an issue. It is nice to be able to turn on a dime too!
@@walterpaul5310 Oh, hey man! Just getting this message. LOL, you guys saved me. Thanks again for letting me borrow you fillet knife! I will be up again in may next year too. Hope to see yall again!
Hey, thanks and thanks for watching! I'm using shakespeare ugly stik gx2 , 7 foot, medium, one- piece rods. They were suggested by Frank's Great Outdoors in Michigan. The 7 foot is nice when netting your own fish. I have no complaints with the rods after two seasons of use. I have worked them really hard on some trophy sized sheep head ....lol, and they are still running strong. Not too expensive either. Don't hesitate if you have any more questions. Thanks again, and don't forget to like and subscribe 😉
Thanks. I am buying a 2019 1875 and want to get set up for Erie. You do a great job out there by yourself. What other equip do you use? Cranks, line, etc?
@@toddcarl1779 Abu Garcia 5500 LC line counter reels, Trilene XT 10lb test main line, Sunline Sniper 16-20 lb fluorocarbon leader, and Bandit Walleye Deep crankbaits. Coming from my main line I use a bead, swivel, then a ball-bearing snap swivel, fluorocarbon leader, then a snap connecting the crankbait. This keeps the junk around the bead, keeping the cranks clear from debris
Lol......yes, I'm very aware of and always follow the regulations. You will have to look back closely at my video. Notice the rods (three) that are bending. I use my other tree and holders as rocket launchers to keep my other setups on stand-by. Never hurts to have extra rods ready to go. Thanks for watching and don't forget to like and subscribe😊
Hi. I thought it would be helpful to explain to people how I was catching them, as people have asked me to include this information in my videos. I thought that was a good idea, and I'm glad that I did so I can look back and see for myself what was working as well. Thanks for the feedback, and have a blessed day!
What boards are you running ?
