Orion was mostly written by Cliff Like mostly all part of Orion was Cliff Mastermind Sadly there's no documentary of Cliff playing it Live So that's why since cliff passes away Metallica never play Orion live It's only on a Medley when jason still in the band When jason plays it It is so sloppy and inaccurate because jason using pick while playing it And it explain only robert that were allowed play orion for a full lenght
@@Tallikas it's entirely different techniques Plucking bass with pick creates different sounds Ofc using pick create more power to bass But it sound not natural and smooth Using finger technique is more fitting for Orion

Why sloppy? The pick gives it an attack. I think it's actually cool
