I want a Heartbreak, I want an Only by the Night, I want a Come Around Sundown, And I really want my FUCKING MECHANICAL BULL! I honestly think that album (5 more days, woot!) will sell at LEAST 100,000 records. I'm one of the people who think Cage the Elephant's second album is really good. You have to think as albums as seperate entities of the same thing.
I want a version of both of Matt's Epiphone Sheraton and Caleb's mohogany Gibson ES semi-hollow body guitars....probably need to go to eBay? I can understand why Caleb keeps playing it. One of a king, angelic. Matt's feedback on live versions of Slow Night, So Long is sweet. Great video for musician diehards! My journey to KOL was related to a Stateside/John Paul Keith concert in Birmingham, Alabama (Univ. of Alabama Birmingham neighborhood) in about 2002, to American Minor to Ryan Adams, and finally to KOL, with some help from a musician friend of my younger brother from suburban Chicago. Still my favorite band, more than Pearl Jam or the Foo Fighters. Americana for the 21st century????

But anyway, this video is fantastic! It shows so much about their characters... is it weird that caleb compares his guitar with his viance? He somehow hugs it quite often... but I love it!
they talk about it in this guitar world interview. they said they had the chorus idea but the verses were too similar and they didnt really like it too much. so caleb switched up the vocal melody in the verses to match the style of a certain folk song he liked, added matts guitar parts and the harmonies and nathans parts. then they played it for the label and the label said immediately it was going to be the first single even though kol didn't think it should be

I only found out about them after sex on fire etc. Some people have other things to do all day than surfing the net looking for the latest bands. So now I've become familiar with all their music and love them! No. It’s a 83 Sheraton. Made in Korea and a much different beast than the Sheratons made now. You can still find the Korean made Sheratons online, but they are up there in price.
