Hope you get your car sorted OK - a mate has a 4yr old LR discovery on extended warranty. The fuel pump in the tank failed, and LR initially told him not a single one in the UK, and he might have to wait 8 months. Tight lines & Stay safe & well. 🎣🎣👍👍

You and Tom Bagnal both preach small baits work for more fish’s big and small.
I have listened to you both.
When I fish for smoothhounds now I just use a 3/0 j hook for my dingle dangle hook.
The eye of that hangs of the circle hook and the bait is lashed to it.
One small peeler crab. Job done.
Small baits means easer casting.
That is it exactly! The only time I use big baits, is to exclude small fish. It also takes the pressure off your package, and using less bait means more fishing trips. Thanks Brother, see you on the beach 😁👌
I have taken a lot from your vids brother. And I have been doing this a long time now. Most of my life in fact. But you are never too old to take on new ideas. Between you and Tom. But mostly you. Last year was the best smooth hound year of my life. Not the PB beater. But many more fish into mid teen figures.

Geez, flounder fishing couldn't be any more different here in New Jersey, USA. Legal size right now is 18 inches (~47cm), and there usually no shortage of them at that size. I'm generally using a 7 foot spinning rod and jig heads from 1/4-3/8oz tipped with an artificial jerk shad. I'm casting maybe 50 feet. 🤣

Oh yeah, for sure they're different. There's like 600 different flatfish 😂 I'm just amazed how many different ways they're caught, and honestly, I don't think I could fish like you do. It looks like a lot of work 😂 We love your content

Hi, Billy. I'm REALLY sorry about the car. After all your recent planning and a lot of time behind the wheel, this isn't what you needed. I'm glad you went after dabs to take your mind off the blown engine. As usual, I have a question: Were you fishing that one particular spot along the beach because of a specific set of bottom contours, perhaps revealed by Navionics? That would explain your not trying other locations when the dabs were consistently so small where you started. Keep the faith, Chris (in Maine)
Hi. The water there is two shallow for boats to map the contours of the sea floor. So it is just a case of using watercraft to find the best spots. Typically flatfish like faster moving water. There are quite a few spots in the area and I defer according to wind direction. Distance is key in this area! I hope this helps, thanks Brother 😁👌

I live in Denmark, the west coast is a good place to catch Turbot, to catch Turbot you need a flashy pirk of about 60g with a single hook in the top eye, and a trace of about 1½ meters with a size 1.0 hook and a flashy fish bait ( like garfish or mackerel) a sliver of fish bait 1½ cm wide and about 5cm-10 cm long.
Hi bud. I am aware of the technique used to catch Turbot in Denmark, and I've used it in the past. But I am in the northwest, and they are not that common as in the south. Thanks Brother 😁👌
