You can tell within the first 10 seconds that he plays like a newborn 100 CP player fresh out of the combat tutorial. The zoomed-in camera, running headfirst into the entire enemy group with zero situational awareness, holding block until he runs out of stamina, dying in two seconds, trying to jab but cancelling it with block- even his bar setup and build choice are straight memes.
It was so beautiful even sypherpk with his 10 millions followers said the game is not what it was and is not where is should be when it comes down to pvp and fully admitted that they only care about new players new content new RP events

I've been playing ESO for years....and over the years, I've seen a ton of cringe shit. But nothing, absolutely NOTHING has made me cringe harder than seeing the lead combat and PvP dev play this way, not know what abilities are, and was mostly clueless about how to play this game. It's no wonder....all answers were given, and they are all bad. This showcase was a massive mistake.

yeah, this makes me angry tbh - I was ready to play ESO forever but because the leads know nothing about the mechanics its literally impossible, because the changes they make every patch make no sense, and because of that the game becomes less fun till the point of burnout.
I can agree with not expecting Brian Wheeler (Lead PVP designer) to be a mechanical "god at the game" but the fact that he didn't know how to build a pvp character, or basic combat/ability facts, really scares me. How can you balance/design something if you don't know how it functions?
I was just thinking the same thing, didnt even know about some live streams they were doing but glad I found out it hasn't improved any and would just be a waste of money to resub and give it another months try.
The game is still worth playing despite this BS. At least IMO it has so much to do that even if they are working on dismantling it, you get months of fun before it crashes.

@@xyourdeus4972 Old school ESO PvP was 50+ vs. 50+ vs. 50+ fights for like 45 minutes or more for a particular castle without servers lagging out on 80% of people. A system where 1 vs. X, where X was a number >10, was actually the norm. Some players used to be unkillable, even in cases when 15 people dropped their ultimates at the exact same time. This was though more of a cheat than actual intended gameplay. Zenimax even hired experienced PvE and PvP players like the one guy from Deltia's squad who knew how rotation work, which sets do synergise well and what not and still we ended up in a mess. IMO the flexibility character builds allow basically kills any form of honest balance attempts and still we have huge gaps in damage output and damge received when comparing casual players and more dedicated ones. The meta shifted over the years though there is still a huge gap and no matter what Zenimax attempts, the system got so complex over the years that casuals wont get it unless guided by some experienced players. And even then, some just want to listen to all of the voiced quests and what not but don't want to spend time into actually optimizing their toons and refine their rotation, which is something that needs a lot of time and dedication, which these players clearly don't have and thus perform rather sub-par as the overwolrd content also does not require them to do. At times I wish we could go back to the state before One Tamriel where veteran content was actually hard and pulling 3 or more mobs usually meant your death.
I was thinking "what's this guy doing?!" when he went into 6 people with barely any stam and half of the time just standing there doing nothing.. but he is our lead PVP combat designer?... it all makes sense now...

I'm certainly not advocating for being toxic. However, at a certain point of neglect, you somewhat have to reasonably expect justified degree of toxicity from those you are neglecting Again, i'm not saying anyone's in the right for saying foul comments in the chat, but i'm also not going to sit here and say that the developers neglecting the player base and disrespecting them at every possible, don't deserve some degree of recourse for their actions. And obviously, there's no penalty for being bad at their jobs. So, the only real legitimate consequence is negative and sometimes toxic outlash from their neglected community

@ maybe! I have a lot of other videos in the pipeline but I do want discuss the event. As they plan to do more and find ways to encourage more players to get into PvP - and I don’t think a lot of people know that. I love ESOs pvp so that’s why I jumped at taking a day off work to stream it as well

on the tanking stream they had a content creator teaching them how to tank (who didn't really know how to tank himself) and the community manager barely knew the controls lol. I said that I'd love to see the devs play the game when u44 pts patch notes came out and now that I'm seeing this, it makes a lot more sense why some decisions are taken

What left me kind of wondering as a new player was the whole set up for this event. I expected a bigger production value. I didnt think it would be some guys getting in a discord, talking about pets and housing to fill the akward silence while the BG queing system is failing. It felt so uninspiring, I dont know if I even want to start trying PVP in this game.
Yea as someone who’s been online awhile i wouldn’t waste your time. Instead play New World which has a pvp system similar to eso with non of the issues. Alternatively you could play throne amd liberty as thats free.
I don't know why everyone assumes not enough players loading into the new BGs is some kind of bug. To me it seems the most realistic to assume that people just don't wanna play it.
I always told my ESO friends that the devs don't play the game, because if they really played ESO they wouldn't commit the atrocities we see in the game, here's the proof.
If that's the case, ESO will go the same way Star trek Online went. The devs don't understand the game they themselves are managing, and in the end, they are just there for the money, milking the players.
@TheParallelSound IT is possible to make a good game. There are only TWO MMOs to retain their player bases over multiple years. ESO is not one of them. If you look at a graph of player numbers over the years and compare that to the majority of other games, the numbers show the same decline. Games like Elden Ring, Black Myth Wkong, show us good games can be made and successful without milking your players. If they can do it, ZOS can do it. They CHOOSE not to.
PVP is a shit show right now. The skill gap has gotten MASSIVE between the sweats and the plebs. I've never seen this large of a disparity in an MMO between skill of players as in ESO PVP. Their new terrible matchmaking only highlights how large the skill gap is. It's wild to see people do under 200k damage in a 8v8 BG with no healing or healers healing for 200k for the entire game. Then you have people going 40-0 with 2mil+ damage, unkillable tanks that can take on an entire 8 man team, healers healing so much that their team's life bar doesn't ever drop below 80%. The skill gap is crazy.
I feel like sets should be equalized in pvp cause I swear some people I can trade 50/50 with and other people straight up take no damage from my character that earlier did like 1k damage to another enemy player. The pvp makes no sense because my crit build does no damage, my spell penetration build did no damage and my raw damage build do no damage yet these same people were two shotting me. There's no way you should be able to do so much damage and also be unkillable, either you're tanky with weak DPS or a glass cannon it shouldn't be both.

@@Justintime2GrowNetwork Dude my PvE damage is literally 8k every tick, there's no valid reason my damage should drop by 90%. I've literally looked at the stats, you can't have both high tankyness, high HP and still do tons of damage without some exploiting it is mathematically not possible. You need a full Heavy Armor with Protective trait minimum to get 50% damage reduction and no single DPS (Drop to 4k) set will leave you enough left over to do 10k+ damage attacks while still taking literally 0 damage.
Nah sorry i disagree. He should surpass a certain lvl of gameplay. If he cant do that he simply doesnt understand the game enough and therefore shouldnt be in the position to work on it.
Not knowing how to Heavy Attack says a lot about the content he’s playing. No hard modes, no PvP, no dungeons as a tank or healer, probably on normal mode forever where enemies *can’t* kill you if you have one healing ability. Heavy attacks are part of the tutorial, and the tutorial (I used to think this was on purpose) leaves out things like weaving light attacks and abilities together. Used to believe it was because it’s just janky looking enough for devs to say “Hey, don’t do that, unless you’re becoming an ESO nerd who’s like, actually good at the game.”

What I meant was I can understand if a dev in general wasn't that best player at their game but they should know all the rules. Like a referee for example.
This footage is crazy!! I suck at PvP and even i feel like i can point out mistakes. This really explains everything, and ZOS' take on PvP to put someone with this level of understanding of the system they are in charge of, in charge of such a place.
watching the livestream was like watching a car crash in slow motion, and honestly was just embarrassing. imagine inviting a huge streamer/content creator on to your official stream so they can stream ESO to their audience, and the entire time is spent standing around waiting for a queue. safe to say they probably turned even more people off the game after watching that mess
What bugged me the most is I got booted from chat for asking them genuine questions about the thoughts behind the latest update 😅 genuinely feel like leaving eso because of the devs which is sad as it has the potential to be such a great game again

Watched the stream long enough to get the pet drop. Constantly trying to grab the relic and getting interrupted was more than I could handle. Running a Templar without an execute? How does a developer not have access to the most op meta builds? At least we have a they/them companion! 😝
RP Quester here, and no, we do not claim this Templar as ours. He is one of the devs. Templar running 7 infused light armour Julianos and Trinimac’s gear. Templar is the king of face tanking damage, stand in rune, stand in purify, bubble heal, basically unkillable. Dunno what the Design lead for PvP was trying for. 😅
That guy should, at the least, know every class and skill mechanic in the game. You should be able to read from anywhere in a tooltip and he complete the sentence. Applying it to gameplay should come naturally to him.
Oh yes I got chat banned for speaking out about the queue issue and other issues of the game. The mods were on a rampant with a chip on their shoulders… it’s extremely frustrating
I am not a PVP player. I am not aware of how to play good PVP. But I think I know how to make a "promotional" live stream. This was disgusting. Every person who watched this and tried to figure out if ESO is a cool game must have been gone after 3-5 minutes. Watching 3 people staring at their screens and doing almost nothing, for 95% of the stream? And they are LEAD-Designers? WHAT? Get in someone from the marketing department to shut that off and tell a story instead - ANY STORY!!!
We both played wayyyy back in Haderus on Xbox NA with Invictum people; I can't tell you how many of those old heads were still generally playing somewhat regularly, and NOW everyone is fleeing. Cyro has been in a bad place for a long time, but having our main location of play in such a bad state is killer. There just is nothing there for anyone. Ball groups, which I play in a lot, run the map. Which, generally they should, but it's been incentivized to play like that. A single ball group can tank a zerg. 30-40 people wailing on 12 people; they demand attention. But at the same time, I'll play solo and anyone I come across that isn't in a 8+ man group is a 45k health block tank. It's just an embarrassing state for what was billed as an integral part of the game. That the LEAD DESIGNER cannot PvP is not surprising at all. It's just such a mood killer to log on and get ran over by zergs, walk away from combat against perma-block tanks, and just generally be locked into the ball group/zerg or bust mindset. It sucks. It just fuckin sucks.
I sincerely hope that after this stream the company will understand that an incompetent person is at the head of pvp design and does not understand what is happening and will expel him from the company and hire a person who deserves it and who will finally bring the balance of pvp to mind, I also do not understand why they invited people who do not promote the project with their streams but play in other games that are also in the current realities of the game, there is nothing they can really say on the lookout except for non-observation.
I dont think any of the original devs are left in zos. When the game first launched u genuinely felt people worked on something special. Now it feels like people with no idea are sitting on desks taking money they dont deserve at all. 100% agree man, great vid. I think we just vote with our money and show them the pvpers do make up a decent size of the player base. Coming from Old School RuneScape where the devs listen to every single word the player base says to then see how Zos conducts themselves is wild.
The update was for once well concieved as a concept imo, but i will agree the implementation was poorly handled and even worsened the current problems plaguing BGs Most would prolly disagree, but i do believe that one of the best ways to bring BGs to the role it is meant to play in the game would be to standardize gear stats in matches. this way, more players can actually play with each other with the difference between newer and veteran players becoming smaller, creating better match timing and solidifying BGs as the more casual and fun way to pvp. once theyve settled their BG playlists, they could add competitive style game modes featuring newer or even older maps while making good use of any new mechanics they have made. I can't even begin to imagine how much work they actually put into stuff like this when it just sort of drops out of the blue.

I'm fully convinced none of the devs or gm's ever actually play ESO. Why go into creating video games in the first place if y'all don't love playing video games? I really hope ESO never turns out like Everquest 2 where they just completely delete PvP. My heart would be broken, because ESO has been my favorite game since quitting Everquest 2 due to no PvP.
I think the worst thing about the recent PvP event will be conclusion and explanation ZOS comes up with - "Participation was low due to a lack of interest in PvP, not because of poor balance or bad rewards that don’t justify the effort required".

To be fair, balancing a game around more than 600 sets in their various combinations isn't easy and therefore the likelihood of messing up big time is just imaginably higher. ESO always had balancing issues, not only in PvP, and the gap between casual players and die-hard ones, again regardless of PvP or PvE, was always WAAAAAAAAAY to big. Zenimax and therefore ESO more or less targets casual players. These are also the players who usually buy stuff in the crown store. As such, their "needs" are usually easier to fulfill than those of endgame PvEers or hardcore PvPers. Balancing PvE around a handful of sets is probably somehow manageable, especially after killing dedicated stamina or magicka specs. Balancing PvP, however, is a totally different beast. I still remembre the early days of ESO where 50 vs. 50 vs. 50 player battles around one castle were actually a thing. Now you can feel lucky when 10 vs. 10 open-field battles don't lag out.
I don't care about any of this directly but what resonates here is that there are many examples of situations where it becomes clear the game developers do not play the games they produce as hobbyists themselves, and as a result they overlooked obvious, simple, but garish flaws.
Completely agree with your take on this. A meaningful and lasting customer intervention/boycott is entirely called for at this point. Ok so we all probably think so, yes? ...Well here's why it will never matter in the slightest: the entire pvp community amounts to maybe a few thousand people. Those who spend several hours a day engaging in pvp amount to a few hundred, at most. One could reasonably assume that the vocal minority who care about the pvp scene (streamers, veterans, pvp celebrities, etc) number maybe 100 people? ...Official stats say that 24 million people play ESO. Steam stats claim on average there are 10k-20k players logged in daily. There's no reason for Zos to give a shit about us. PVP is not a priority and never will be. I would even suggest that Zos probably wish they just hadn't even built pvp into the game. I'm certain this has been stated internally and they've all but admitted it publicly by spending like 0.008% of their time and effort on pvp development (0.008% is very roughly the percentage of concurrent pvp players compared to pve/all players in the game). This whole thing kinda makes sense when you put it that way and understand just how unimportant we are to the company. Disclaimer: my numbers are just an educated guess but I really don't think they can be THAT far off.

Yeah but the devs who made 2016-2017 pvp fun left the dev team long ago. The reason why it's so bad is because the new team scrapped the entire systems in place of old school ESO
@@xyourdeus4972 Old school ESO PvP was 50+ vs. 50+ vs. 50+ fights for like 45 minutes or more for a particular castle without servers lagging out on 80% of people. A system where 1 vs. X, where X was a number >10, was actually the norm. Some players used to be unkillable, even in cases when 15 people dropped their ultimates at the exact same time. This was though more of a cheat than actual intended gameplay.
Zenimax even hired experienced PvE and PvP players like the one guy from Deltia's squad who knew how rotation work, which sets do synergise well and what not and still we ended up in a mess. IMO the flexibility character builds allow basically kills any form of honest balance attempts and still we have huge gaps in damage output and damge received when comparing casual players and more dedicated ones. The meta shifted over the years though there is still a huge gap and no matter what Zenimax attempts, the system got so complex over the years that casuals wont get it unless guided by some experienced players. And even then, some just want to listen to all of the voiced quests and what not but don't want to spend time into actually optimizing their toons and refine their rotation, which is something that needs a lot of time and dedication, which these players clearly don't have and thus perform rather sub-par as the overwolrd content also does not require them to do. At times I wish we could go back to the state before One Tamriel where veteran content was actually hard and pulling 3 or more mobs usually meant your death.

I'm a pve crab with a little pvp experience and I play better than a combat lead.
Almost everyone that plays could turn their account and build over to a random person on the street and have them play better than Wheeler did on that stream.

@ maybe! I have a lot of other videos in the pipeline but I do want discuss the event. As they plan to do more and find ways to encourage more players to get into PvP - and I don’t think a lot of people know that. I love ESOs pvp so that’s why I jumped at taking a day off work to stream it as well

on the tanking stream they had a content creator teaching them how to tank (who didn't really know how to tank himself) and the community manager barely knew the controls lol. What left me kind of wondering as a new player was the whole set up for this event. I expected a bigger production value. I didnt think it would be some guys getting in a discord, talking about pets and housing to fill the akward silence while the BG queing system is failing. It felt so uninspiring, I dont know if I even want to start trying PVP in this game.
Yea as someone who’s been online awhile i wouldn’t waste your time. Instead play New World which has a pvp system similar to eso with non of the issues. Alternatively you could play throne amd liberty as thats free.
I don't know why everyone assumes not enough players loading into the new BGs is some kind of bug.
To me it seems the most realistic to assume that people just don't wanna play it.
I always told my ESO friends that the devs don't play the game, because if they really played ESO they wouldn't commit the atrocities we see in the game, here's the proof.
If that's the case, ESO will go the same way Star trek Online went. The devs don't understand the game they themselves are managing, and in the end, they are just there for the money, milking the players.

@TheParallelSound IT is possible to make a good game. There are only TWO MMOs to retain their player bases over multiple years. ESO is not one of them. If you look at a graph of player numbers over the years and compare that to the majority of other games, the numbers show the same decline.
Games like Elden Ring, Black Myth Wkong, show us good games can be made and successful without milking your players.
If they can do it, ZOS can do it. They CHOOSE not to.
PVP is a shit show right now. The skill gap has gotten MASSIVE between the sweats and the plebs. I've never seen this large of a disparity in an MMO between skill of players as in ESO PVP. Their new terrible matchmaking only highlights how large the skill gap is. It's wild to see people do under 200k damage in a 8v8 BG with no healing or healers healing for 200k for the entire game. Then you have people going 40-0 with 2mil+ damage, unkillable tanks that can take on an entire 8 man team, healers healing so much that their team's life bar doesn't ever drop below 80%. The skill gap is crazy.
I feel like sets should be equalized in pvp cause I swear some people I can trade 50/50 with and other people straight up take no damage from my character that earlier did like 1k damage to another enemy player.
The pvp makes no sense because my crit build does no damage, my spell penetration build did no damage and my raw damage build do no damage yet these same people were two shotting me. There's no way you should be able to do so much damage and also be unkillable, either you're tanky with weak DPS or a glass cannon it shouldn't be both.
@@Cyberbro665 If you're hitting people for 1k that's 100% a skill issue. Making the game easier isn't going to make people play it better. People need to learn what sets to use and how to actually set their toon up for PVP. Like I said the skill gap is massive.

I've literally looked at the stats, you can't have both high tankyness, high HP and still do tons of damage without some exploiting it is mathematically not possible. You need a full Heavy Armor with Protective trait minimum to get 50% damage reduction and no single DPS (Drop to 4k) set will leave you enough left over to do 10k+ damage attacks while still taking literally 0 damage.

Not knowing how to Heavy Attack says a lot about the content he’s playing.
No hard modes, no PvP, no dungeons as a tank or healer, probably on normal mode forever where enemies *can’t* kill you if you have one healing ability.
Heavy attacks are part of the tutorial, and the tutorial (I used to think this was on purpose) leaves out things like weaving light attacks and abilities together. Used to believe it was because it’s just janky looking enough for devs to say “Hey, don’t do that, unless you’re becoming an ESO nerd who’s like, actually good at the game.”

This footage is crazy!! I suck at PvP and even i feel like i can point out mistakes. This really explains everything, and ZOS' take on PvP to put someone with this level of understanding of the system they are in charge of, in charge of such a place.
watching the livestream was like watching a car crash in slow motion, and honestly was just embarrassing. imagine inviting a huge streamer/content creator on to your official stream so they can stream ESO to their audience, and the entire time is spent standing around waiting for a queue. safe to say they probably turned even more people off the game after watching that mess
I'm happy they got to experience this. Hopefully now it gets some attention from the devs.
What bugged me the most is I got booted from chat for asking them genuine questions about the thoughts behind the latest update 😅 genuinely feel like leaving eso because of the devs which is sad as it has the potential to be such a great game again

Watched the stream long enough to get the pet drop. Constantly trying to grab the relic and getting interrupted was more than I could handle. Running a Templar without an execute? How does a developer not have access to the most op meta builds? At least we have a they/them companion! 😝

It’s like a mechanic not knowing you should put gas in the car to get it to run. This game doesn’t deserve these devs and neither do we.
That guy should, at the least, know every class and skill mechanic in the game. You should be able to read from anywhere in a tooltip and he complete the sentence. Applying it to gameplay should come naturally to him.
Oh yes I got chat banned for speaking out about the queue issue and other issues of the game. The mods were on a rampant with a chip on their shoulders… it’s extremely frustrating
I am not a PVP player. I am not aware of how to play good PVP. But I think I know how to make a "promotional" live stream.
This was disgusting. Every person who watched this and tried to figure out if ESO is a cool game must have been gone after 3-5 minutes. We both played wayyyy back in Haderus on Xbox NA with Invictum people; I can't tell you how many of those old heads were still generally playing somewhat regularly, and NOW everyone is fleeing. Cyro has been in a bad place for a long time, but having our main location of play in such a bad state is killer. There just is nothing there for anyone. Ball groups, which I play in a lot, run the map. Which, generally they should, but it's been incentivized to play like that. A single ball group can tank a zerg. 30-40 people wailing on 12 people; they demand attention. But at the same time, I'll play solo and anyone I come across that isn't in a 8+ man group is a 45k health block tank. It's just an embarrassing state for what was billed as an integral part of the game. That the LEAD DESIGNER cannot PvP is not surprising at all. It's just such a mood killer to log on and get ran over by zergs, walk away from combat against perma-block tanks, and just generally be locked into the ball group/zerg or bust mindset. It sucks. It just fuckin sucks.
I sincerely hope that after this stream the company will understand that an incompetent person is at the head of pvp design and does not understand what is happening and will expel him from the company and hire a person who deserves it and who will finally bring the balance of pvp to mind, I also do not understand why they invited people who do not promote the project with their streams but play in other games that are also in the current realities of the game, there is nothing they can really say on the lookout except for non-observation.
I dont think any of the original devs are left in zos. When the game first launched u genuinely felt people worked on something special. Now it feels like people with no idea are sitting on desks taking money they dont deserve at all. It got obvious af when they ruined the cp system claiming to improve performance making it actually worse. Bet those high talented devs quit their job at zos after seeing their collegues incompetence. Probably were paid less than these thieves as well. Feel bad for them watching their hard worked product and dedicated efforts abused.

yeah, watching this explains a lot of what's wrong and why so many features never get fixed.
Watching "lead combat and PvP designer" Brian Wheeler fail completely in a battleground shows us all exactly why PvP is so broken in ESO right now. He knows nothing about PvP but their combat design team is so arrogant, never accepting any feedback or help from the actual PvP community. No wonder everyone is turning off their ESO Plus subscriptions and running off to Ashes of Creation alpha instead.

Pve was the fun journey to get stronger in PvP, but at the end, PvP is the only thing that keeps you playing a game that is 10 years old

The update was for once well concieved as a concept imo, but i will agree the implementation was poorly handled and even worsened the current problems plaguing BGs
Most would prolly disagree, but i do believe that one of the best ways to bring BGs to the role it is meant to play in the game would be to standardize gear stats in matches. this way, more players can actually play with each other with the difference between newer and veteran players becoming smaller, creating better match timing and solidifying BGs as the more casual and fun way to pvp.
once theyve settled their BG playlists, they could add competitive style game modes featuring newer or even older maps while making good use of any new mechanics they have made.
I can't even begin to imagine how much work they actually put into stuff like this when it just sort of drops out of the blue.

To be fair, balancing a game around more than 600 sets in their various combinations isn't easy and therefore the likelihood of messing up big time is just imaginably higher. ESO always had balancing issues, not only in PvP, and the gap between casual players and die-hard ones, again regardless of PvP or PvE, was always WAAAAAAAAAY to big.
Zenimax and therefore ESO more or less targets casual players. These are also the players who usually buy stuff in the crown store. As such, their "needs" are usually easier to fulfill than those of endgame PvEers or hardcore PvPers. Balancing PvE around a handful of sets is probably somehow manageable, especially after killing dedicated stamina or magicka specs. Balancing PvP, however, is a totally different beast. I still remembre the early days of ESO where 50 vs. 50 vs. 50 player battles around one castle were actually a thing. Now you can feel lucky when 10 vs. 10 open-field battles don't lag out.

I don't care about any of this directly but what resonates here is that there are many examples of situations where it becomes clear the game developers do not play the games they produce as hobbyists themselves, and as a result they overlooked obvious, simple, but garish flaws.
Completely agree with your take on this. A meaningful and lasting customer intervention/boycott is entirely called for at this point. Ok so we all probably think so, yes? ...Well here's why it will never matter in the slightest: the entire pvp community amounts to maybe a few thousand people. Those who spend several hours a day engaging in pvp amount to a few hundred, at most. One could reasonably assume that the vocal minority who care about the pvp scene (streamers, veterans, pvp celebrities, etc) number maybe 100 people? ...Official stats say that 24 million people play ESO. Steam stats claim on average there are 10k-20k players logged in daily. There's no reason for Zos to give a shit about us.
PVP is not a priority and never will be. I would even suggest that Zos probably wish they just hadn't even built pvp into the game. I'm certain this has been stated internally and they've all but admitted it publicly by spending like 0.008% of their time and effort on pvp development (0.008% is very roughly the percentage of concurrent pvp players compared to pve/all players in the game). This whole thing kinda makes sense when you put it that way and understand just how unimportant we are to the company.
Disclaimer: my numbers are just an educated guess but I really don't think they can be THAT far off.
