Harry's paranoia is not our problem. His issues are self inflicted and part of marrying a narcissist. Harry is not Tier 1 Royal representing the UK on official duties it's that simple.
Of course he’s back in the news. D-Day & a wedding took the spotlight off him for 10 seconds!
What Hazbeen wants is his IPP status back. He shouldn't be allowed to get it since he is not representing a country nor is he a diplomate
This case will not do it for him. It's only about his security in the UK. He lost IPP status with all its perks when he stopped being a working royal, as he was warned by QEII.
@@alayneperrott9693Yes. Only the UN can grant IPP status. The UN Protection of Diplomats Convention determined that only working Royals qualify because their official duties are fungible to a Diplomat's employment requirements.
He thinks he’s above even the king. He shows contempt for everyone and everything. Someone really needs to shut him down. It’s just unbelievable how the court allows him this constant appealing. Henry cares nothing for the waste of courts time and or costs. He’s allowed to get away with it all!

Sparry should be ashamed of himself for ignoring D Day soldiers sacrifice. Ironic how he went to multiple events using our brave veterans for PR purposes yet doesn't acknowledge them. Invictus should fire him in my opinion

He wants IPP status, so he doesn't have to pay for security in any country and he can't be accountable to the law! This is what I believe.

He would have been prosecuted for animal cruelty - and found guilty for the death of the pregnant mare (he was told to not ride her), and the injuries to the other horse that he bloodied by overuse of spurs - photos are online.
He knows the clock is ticking, so yeah, he desperately wants IPP for protection from prosecution.

@@moretus2270 That is not correct. As a non working royal, he is not entitled to IPP status, and having IPP status does not excuse him from being punishable by the law if he does something wrong.
We have just commemorated the selfless sacrifice of a generation during the Second World War, and then we get this story about Harry who seems to be “scared of boo’s and filthy looks from the British public or sassy Americans”. I know who I would pay for.
If he’s known about this for two weeks, to release the news on the back of D-Day celebrations and on the Duke of Westminster’s wedding is beyond appalling.
The bitter wife is behind this - Sparry is useless except for his status as the King's son. She HAD TO put something out to counteract PR when Prince William was being filmed, either at D-Day or at Westminster's wedding, where they were not invited.

@laurakilleen453 - Judge Peter Lane told PH that he was wasting his time, but Judge David Bean has subsequently stated that in respect of one of his grounds of appeal, PH has a reasonable prospect of succeeding. This would suggest that his decision to seek leave to appeal was not unreasonable, or as you suggest, an indication that he is mentally unwell.

@@laurakilleen453 he might not do ultimately, but my point is that the fact that he has now been given leave to appeal suggests that his decision to seek leave to appeal was not unreasonable or irrational.
They're just encouraging further litigation by giving him the right to go to the Court of Appeal. The High Court Judge did not give him leave to appeal and it should have remained so. 😏

It is irrelevant if he wins. We, the taxpayers, will REFUSE to cover his costs. Nor will we EVER accept him back as a working royal. We want him exiled and that he and his current wife and invisikids stripped off all titles.

He's not interested in coming back to UK, whatever he says. He wants the global IPP Security which I believe comes with a certain type of Diplomatic Immunity. Can you imagine what 24/7 security not just for Harry but his wife, children, Doria and maybe close staff, is going to cost. Then they will require it when travelling on their faux tours., this will cost millions upon millions of pounds, whose going to pay for that??

His court case was more important than DDay veterans. He wants IPP status. I hope he doesn't get it and has to pay so many legal fees when he loses which I predict he will.

Put your mind at rest. He can't get IPP. This case has nothing to do with IPP. Nothing. It's purely about security that he receives from the Met Police when he visits the UK.
Only the UN can grant IPP status. Harry's ineligible because the UN Protection of Diplomats Convention determined that only working Royals qualify since their official duties are fungible to those of a diplomat.
The Judge is giving Harry the right to challenge his decision so that the Court of Appeal can deny his challenge putting this matter to an end. I doubt the Court of Appeal will allow Harry to appeal to the British Supreme Court. Harry will lose. He'll owe legal costs. Good.
The Royal Grift raised a good question, is the Judge who approved this appeal the same Judge, Justice Bean, the same one who ruled over 43%'s case of lying to help write Scooby-dooo's first book??

@@ajune583I saw that too, and it is a matter of grave concern. Judge Bean must not be allowed to try this case as he has been proven to be biased towards Markle.

War hero Trevor Coult was assigned to protect Harry and said he never saw combat. I spoke to US Marines who were stationed with him at Bastion and said he never saw combat. In the PR video where he runs to the Apache as sirens blare, he doesnt even know he'd be denied entry because he's not wearing body armor or flightsuit, not carrying a firearm, etc. At Invictus Germany he claimed to be a combat Apache pilot and gunner with a kill count. He claimed the Queen's spirit was with him as he grabbed men's faces and kissed their foreheads.Then he went on rants defaming the King, the future King, etc. They've been using legal loopholes and ridiculous demands to drain the budget (5 star hotels, private jets, etc). Invictus told him they are severing all ties after Invictus Canada. He waaghed to the King. Now his last day is after the 10th anniversary

I’m not sure why everyone continues to talk about Harry’s obsession about police protection. It’s a specific strategy to delay having to address the “children.” As long as he says they’re not safe and he continues to fight they have an “out” in regard to presenting any children. These delays are a strategy that should certainly be obvious to everyone. They can delay showing them as long as this charade continues.

It has been mooted that this case may serve to delay Henry's visa case in America. Neither the king nor the President seems to want to take responsibility for penalising Henry's illegal behaviour.
I don't see why that would be the case. The two things are totally unconnected and in different countries.

I like the idea that two constitutional heads of state are responsible for addressing someone's "illegal" behaviour rather than the relevant justice system. However, you may have a point, given that it was the Trump administration who allowed Harry leave to remain when he entered the US in March 2020.

No, the Kind cannot interfere in Parliament or the justice system. We have a British Constitution and a constitutional monarchy, so even though the King is head of state, he is bound by the Constitution. Like any other father, he cannot dictate the behaviour of his middle aged offspring.
He really needs to wind his neck in. He GETS security when he visits the UK if he's at Royal Events and/or on Royal Grounds. WHY does he think he deserves security for gallivanting round the UK?? This is all about IPP Status which as a D List, minor celebrity along with his wife/boss/2nd Mommy - he is NOT ENTITLED TO!!

This American maintains her position that Sparry is camouflaging his TRUE goal which is regaining his IPP status. If he were ONLY concerned with the type of security he is granted when in the UK, no matter his reason/purpose, he would ONLY go after that. He steadfastly INCLUDES regaining his IPP status in order to have that level of security, paid for, in ANY country PLUS achieving that security for the wife and kiddos when Sparry is away from them. This American REMAINS CONVINCED that THIS is the ultimate goal. That his case is STILL being entertained for appeal on any point ONLY causes this American to see dominoes falling and his achieving his IPP goal.
Except he doesn't qualify for it and won't unless employed officially by a Government to work abroad on its behalf. Or Markle of course. Another American here. Is Harry pressing so hard becos his visa difficulty may reveal a police record? What we don't know may be the times the Palace has covered up a possible police record. If he gets his beloved IPP status, we'll never know, and potentially people may be physically injured by his possible bad behavior. Just my opinion and speculation.
@@user-jojo29 I get your point about qualification, or lack thereof, (Home Office's RAVEC laws and regulations) but my Spidey senses are saying this is the first in a series of dominoes to fall and Sparry WILL end up with IPP - his true objective. Obviously there's the appeal, needs to win the appeal, back to the drawing board with RAVEC and RAVEC reviewing Sparry's situation, rendering their PROFESSIONAL evaluation and decision, etc. HOWEVER, I also foresee "something" coming from the Appellate Court in the form of an order almost guaranteeing all falling into place for Sparry to get what he seeks. NOT special security 24/7 when in the UK, but the IPP status. I know. My Spidey sense means diddly squat. But I can't help be feel that Lord Justice Bean has put the first piece into place. Playing, IMO, the role of reluctant acquiescence to just one point. Nonetheless, the dye is cast for everyone else to follow suit in the decision-making process. Sorry for the long reply. NO JUDGE CAN DECIDE IF HARRY GETS SECURITY. It's not their job or pervue. It's only a win to force RAVEC to redo the assessment and they can come up with the exact same decision.

It's a treat to hear your experienced legal take on such matters. I realise that law and morality are not always the same thing, but this lad's insistence on seeking his way speaks of a someone who has no perspective on his own importance, nor the inconvenience his case causes the legal system. It makes me wonder what the advice was to him and whether he just ignored it and wants to plough ahead regardless.

@@roffen969 sorry - he brings so many cases it gets confusing. Sherborne was his barrister for the hacking cases and she was the one who lost his case for IPP Status last year so I assume she will be again.
How easy is it for the government to change the law in order to strip them of their title. I get why the don’t want to make a precedent for this but exceptional circumstances 🤷♀️

Just because an appeal has been alowed on a point that may arguably be successful doesn't automatically mean that it will be successful. Sometimes, arguments (including novel arguments) may be allowed to see both how they evolve and where they fit into existing law.

He might think this is a "win", but most people know that this is the only way Harry can make the headlines that keep his wife happy. I am with other commentators who assert that British citizens are angry and offended by this pair of grifters. My father and Uncle fought heroically in WW2 and while I understand that Harry should have been at the D Day memorial, he was probably absent because he was uncertain of the kind of reception he would receive, indeed, he may have been told to stay away. While all his actions are owned by him and his wife, the negative outcomes are always someone else's fault. I wish they would just live the private life they said they wanted and just go live in the Californian mountains - off grid. Oh and they should be stripped of their titles. That's an election promise that would win my vote.

It was actually both of them. Judge Warby issued the summary judgement in her favour, the MoS appealed and then Judge Bean upheld Judge Warby’s original judgement .

This same judge who granted this appeal, is also the same judge who let Markle get away with lying about contributing to writing the Finding Freedom book. Coincidence?? The trial judge was Warby in the Markle vs MOS case. Bean upheld the judgment, it would be unusual not to do so. It was a judgment on the matter of who owned the letter to Markle Sr. Warby's sole decision not to make an example of Markle lying to the court.

No, it's the other cases against the print media that are coming up (at least one still outstanding). He has the same legal team and they want to avoid having to work both cases simultaneously.

I understood him to say that he felt the judge reluctantly approved the appeal. The court documents definitely also say that the original judgment may very well stand.

His problem is that for the bespoke security he is required to give 30 days notice - no more hopping on a plane to surprise his ill father.

And that is awarded by the UN not the English courts or the Met. He is not entitled to IPP status even if he wins and gets security. He does not represent the Head of State so by UN's own very clear and strict rules he does not qualify for IPP. I think this is the judge allowing every possible avenue to be closed down legally so the case can be closed entirely once and for all. Hopefully listed as a vexatious litigant !

After such a well reasoned and well executed opinion included with the petulant brats previous denial of appeal, why is this judge allowing this brat to clog up the courts while also burdening the taxpayers with the cost of fighting his never ending temper tantrums. He should be legally judicated as a Vexatious Litigant. But instead he is rewarded. Unbelievable.
