That leads me to wonder if and who (assuming they operate in a similar manner) the Guild sends out to count the populations of species and track behaviour patterns of individuals.
9:03 to be fair, kirin is based off of a mythological creature also called kirin (or qillin), which is a dragon like creature. Dalmadur also can count as a dragon since the word dragon litterally is supposed to symbolise giant serpent (this is kinda loose though, since snake wyverns exist. Other than those all elder dragons have 6 limbs (except of the wind and thunder serpents and amatsu, but they’re based off of chineses dragons so it still counts) so it’s easy to recognise if it’s one or not

@@marmyeater that doesn't have to mean jack. She was more than likely in an American studio surrounded by American personal that speak it in their accents or don't really care how it is ultimately pronounced
I mean, would they really hype up deviljho, Seregios, and Lagiacrus if they weren't in the game that comes out in 2 months? This is meant to serve as an intro to the lore right? How would a new person feel if they get in game and is like, wait, but where is that pickle monster I wanted to fight? Plus given leaks... I feel these are some pretty solid confirms
Maybe this is obvious and I doubt I am the first to make this connection, but I feel like there a lot of clues pointing us to a reveal that the people of the forbidden lands are the direct ancestors of the whoever survived the ancient civilisation. They saw what happens when you abuse monsters and technology for war, and thus turned away from civilisation and violence to atone for their sins. The focus on balance, the fact that they didn't even know what weapons were, their isolation from society and their coexistence with the land and monsters, as well as these potential ancient extinct monsters all seem to be pointing in the same direction to me. Or, I could be talking out of my arse! Time will tell 😂
That one tribe in the Forbidden Lands I'd say are at most one extreme example of balance. Since they lack the ability to fight large monsters, all they can really do is stay out of the way and figure out ways to repel them (like mimicking Rey Dau's calls). They lack the ability to do much of anything if the ecosystem goes out of balance (seen in a trailer when something causes Doshaguma to invade the village). And of course we have that other tribe who seems to go to the other extreme and mess up the balance by trying to control the environment too much (i.e. them "invoking" the fire spring themselves only to have it apparently go out of control).
You are the only one who didn't trigger by a word "Tee-Grex". I'm so glad About Elder dragon I alway considered it doesn't mean a specie but a threat level

Yes, she had to use the power of the emperor to become an apex predator of a small part of a superior planet. That or she's just one of those actors that's strapped for cash, lately, so she'll take any gig and even beg for work. It's so funny that actors lately, like old A list actors that should be retired now/were retired are coming back and admitting it's because they're out of money. It's why Jim Carry isn't retired anymore, it's why Harrison Ford is still doing things, Al Pachino's doing it again, he did it a long time ago for I think it was an Adam Sandler movie or something. She's either a secret fan or she's out of money. There's almost no reason to not just have someone from the game's cast do this. Yeah a lot of media smeared Monster Hunter World when it came out as this evil game. Not realizing that there's conservation involving culling in real life. If an animal is too numerous than it could kill off its entire food source and then have to move on and muscle in on another environment and disrupting that region too. Sometimes animals get lucky and their fortune is their downfall, taking many other lives down with them. Yeah, the kid doesn't understand the ways of the hunters but he also wants the flagship dead because he thinks it destroyed his home or soemthing like that. It's still kind of vague. Some quests are about vengeance or petty/funny reasons for killing monsters but the guild will only let you post them if they wanted that species culled anyway. like, "Okey, whatever, sir. We'll do it but only because we were going to cull that monster's population in a week anyway. So, sure we'll take your money to kill that thing, to make a pen for you or whatever, because that's just a side benefit. We're killing X amount of Y monster but we'll gladly kill the one you want dead because that's still falling into our own motives."
Dragons by itself is just what most of us know from Hollywood and anything medieval-related. If you deep dive past the basics, you quickly learn that Dragon was a very very loose term.

That leads me to wonder if and who (assuming they operate in a similar manner) the Guild sends out to count the populations of species and track behaviour patterns of individuals.
Ruri staying off the guild knights list is see
9:03 to be fair, kirin is based off of a mythological creature also called kirin (or qillin), which is a dragon like creature. Dalmadur also can count as a dragon since the word dragon litterally is supposed to symbolise giant serpent (this is kinda loose though, since snake wyverns exist. Other than those all elder dragons have 6 limbs (except of the wind and thunder serpents and amatsu, but they’re based off of chineses dragons so it still counts) so it’s easy to recognise if it’s one or not
9:32
You got your known wyverns, you got your known unknown wyverns and then you got your unknown unknown wyverns! Wyverns we don't even know we don't know.
Nata's nata hunter. He doesnt understand.
Edit: they way daisy narrate this, I get the book narration of game of thrones.
"I'm a keeper of balance!"
*Bonk*
"This is to preserve the ecosystem!"
*Bonk*
"You better give me something other than 3 shells!"

Monster: *Gurgled Screaming*
20:52 Alex "Rurikhan" Jones moment
Fun Fact: Rey = King in spanish.
I think thats King is Rey in english.
Fashion through superior firepower.
Your buddy Gaijin lost his mind over this little video game ad. You might want to check in on him, his analysis was off the rails.
Gaijin is having fun!
The Guild propaganda got Rurikhan
I’ve always known the guild was shady, I bring that up all the time!
For the people who are hating I ask you this. Are you really going to let crappy Star Wars Sequels ruin Monster Hunter for you?
Cue Rey Dau gunslinger theme
Not sure how there are Monster Hunter fans who watched this and weren't smiling ear to ear the whole way like "yup... that's Monster Hunter alright"
Equal Dragon Weapon confirmed! 🤣🤣
i guess we are now waiting for daisy to put on a rey dau armor cosplay?
She’s a 10 for sure
Okay, outside of the terrible context of starwars, she's not the worst. At least, her voice acting skills are good!
Well made Videos. Keep it going dude😁
Ruri with a tinfoil hat confirmed?
I never got the chance to fight fatalis my copy of monster world ended up getting an error when I first enter the ice born
Ruri what happened to your channel. You no longer show up on my on my feeds. I have to manually search you up to find your content.
Might just be you homie, I got recommended this
i feel they could've called elder dragons as "Elder Wyrm" or "Elder Wyvern" or "Ultra Chads" or something idk
All I know is if Glavenus is in Wilds along with his acidic sub species do his weapons justice and not slap on parts 🙏
Rey was an important character in Star Wars? (i kid) The thumbnail through me for a loop as well.
I will NOT be getting over how the logo for wilds features two """""Mechanical""""" looking dragons and that one of the locales is a GIANT FORGE. Surely this means nothing and that the ancient civilizations did not build anything giant or dangerous with the forge
Equal dragon weapon? 🎶You're welcome 🎵 😂
Surely not!
20:39 someone else pointed this out but there is a windigo looking monster besid rey dau and I am both excited and concerned. concerned over the fact of whether or not it's an actual monster in game
How come they did Hunters dirty in Monster Hunter Stories 2 tho, like the first 30 minutes of the game, they like basically disregard the Riders culture about Guardian Ratha and insist on killing it without much of a consultation with the Riders
Y'all heard it! Lag-ee-ah-crus. No la-guy-ah-crus or La-Jee-ah crus! Finally 😂😂. Also, new monster after the Rey dau page turn? 👀
@@PKshockwave just cause an actor said it doesn't mean it's correct
@@baul997 She was literally in a studio reading from a script where people would have corrected her.
@@marmyeater that doesn't have to mean jack. She was more than likely in an American studio surrounded by American personal that speak it in their accents or don't really care how it is ultimately pronounced
@@baul997 That's not how businesses work, and just hearing her speak it, it's clearly not her first take of it.
Can we do lore of monster again with Gaijin and Banned Lagi?
I’m here just for the funny thumbnail
If she she somehow in a new MH movie, it would be so nice. She could play the handler or the blacksmith.
For proof of an ancient civilization just look at the artian armor set lol
i thought the lightning seemed familiar 🤔
LoL so will we get a FULLY VOICED Rei Dau in Wilds?
39 seconds in and I lost my shit. AHAHAHAHAAHAHHA
🤔 interesting I think the old wyverian lady who sew rathalos hide to make rathalos armor is the huntsman when he was young 😅
Thx have good days 🍻
I mean, would they really hype up deviljho, Seregios, and Lagiacrus if they weren't in the game that comes out in 2 months? This is meant to serve as an intro to the lore right? How would a new person feel if they get in game and is like, wait, but where is that pickle monster I wanted to fight? Plus given leaks... I feel these are some pretty solid confirms
I want a Stygian Kirin cause that would be insane.
I'm so glad
About Elder dragon I alway considered it doesn't mean a specie but a threat level
It's not. Otherwise Deviljho, Rajang, Raging Brachydios, and Seething Bazelgeuse would be elders.
Elder dragons are simply the intelligent magical creatures.
*important* made me chuckle
And to add to that terrible joke, Rey Dau is usually found near sandy areas, just like Tatooine.
Underwater fighting was annoying but I still have very fond memories of fighting lagi and ceadeus
What heresy is Ruri gonna talk bout this time
