    WOW, talk about a common failure...mine stopped working this morning on my job site. Found your video, took it apart and low-and-behold that yellow wire had broken off it's mooring. Got out the soldering gun and VOILA...problem solved! Thanks so much for posting this, you made my day!

    Thank you. I had the same problem as Joker Ace. I followed your video and sure enough the yellow cable had broken loose. It was fairly simple to re-solder it, clean, lube it and put it back together. It is working just fine now. Thank you!

    The light comes on, but doesn't run. Hopefully that's the problem.

    Thanks buddy...you just made my day! I started having a problem with the multi tool about a week ago...thought it was the battery??? Nope even though I had to "jump start" my Max Pac bc the charger was reading it was a bad battery. It wasn't until you said "yellow cable"...bingo! Thanx again and enjoy the rest of your day and God Bless!!! WWG1WGA!!!

    Think it is the brushes in mine. have not tore it down to check yet
