Thank you as always for your content. I don’t know anyone at FSTOPPERS so before I say what I say this is my disclaimer. If you are coming to channel to just criticize and be negative about their content, don’t bother clicking. Keep the negatively to yourself. Watch the videos and show some type of appreciation. If you have some positive feedback by all means share. If all you do is speak negative, keep it pushing with your negative and miserable thoughts. Thank you everyone at FSTOPPERS for all that you guys do.
Anyone can hate the products they use and still be fans of fs, another is to hate their videos period and come in to make negative comments. With my full frame camera I don’t need to take 30 pictures and if I did it’s all a matter of measuring and leveling your tripod correctly. It’s a nice gadget but, too damn expensive!
It's funny see people complaining but for the one that follow FSTOPPER from the beginning, remember the pocket wizard video with the 800mm lens portrait and the 50 flash basketball flash shot and it was fun to watch
Thanks for the video. Does the movement of the waves matter when the shot is stiched together at the end? I guess the 1/2 second exposure would blend the waves anyway right? If it was taken with a fast exposure where the waves were nice and crisp would the final picture look terrible because the waves didn't match up?
Hi, I would like to take 360 degree pano with this pan and tilt kit. Does it has function “360 degree pano” to choose in just one click? Or we only have to do “Start and Stop point” manually? Thanks Genie pan tilt kit user.
I create a lot of panos using Fuji APSC. A recent seven image x 2 row pano stitch using Mac and LR took just over 2 hours. Since was compositing a blue and golden hour together had to repeat 3 times. I would kill to get that down to a couple of minutes. Would suggest also locking down the white balance.
Would also love to hear how the lens corrections/horizon corrections come into play in these photos when merging! Love the fstoppers and CTC is my favourite photography series.
@@Excusethedelay One thing I've done is that I'll run whatever noise reduction and lens vignette/distortion/CA correction in my Raw processor, and then I'll export all the pictures as tiff files. They then stitch together very easily in whatever image editor you use, especially if there isn't any parallax when you took the pictures.
Absolutely depends on the focal length you choose. If you want to do a proper Gigapixel panorama and getting the best quality out of it, there is no way around some sort of tripod panorama head. The only problem with this in particular, is that you can't dial in your nodal point.
Lee - Where can we see the final edited image from this video? The image at the end did not seem to be the same? I would love to see how well Syrp and Photoshop work together... Thanks
Looks like a good product for those who do a lot of panos. However, cost wise, looking on Amazon - £232.95 x 2 + £83.95 for the bracket is a bit on the dear side, when you could just move the camera yourself....
@@mikaels-p6765 it isnt necessary but it another thing you dont have to worry about when merging the pano. With auto white balance every image may have a slightly different white balance and for some reason when you sync all the images in lightroom the white balance does not change
@@jakewerth9614 true, but if shot in raw (and you have one of the never versions of lightroom) it automatically changes the white balance. Tried it today.
Eli pretty similar in terms of appearance in a UA-cam video unless zoomed in, where with pano stitching like this you can get near as much detail as you like and atmosphere allows.
"$550 for each puck plus $23 for the cable. Not as much as I expected but $1100+ is a lot of money." Are you and everyone liking your comment from New Zealand? Because that's the NZ price. It's US$199 each, after the rebate. The cable is US$9, brackets are US$89. $496 seems very reasonable.
@@robertfeliciano5723 where do you see those prices ? I missed the 549 being NZD but it is the same as $351.91 USD in Google Conversion. How did you get $199 each ? Thanks.
@@nrbqs1 yep, I found it. They are out of stock and the $50 rebate ends in October 2019 so likely won't apply. Still $250 each plus $9 is around 509.00, not a bad price if they work as expected. A lot better than the $1100 plus I thought they were. I shoot m4/3 ( G85 ) and super high res is all I miss vs the Nikon D750 and D850 I used to own. I have a D5300 and the Nikon 10-20mm that would be great to have more than 24MP if I want to print 4 or 5 ft wide. The G85 is my main camera now. I love 4K video and the images I can pull from it. Anyway, thanks again. I missed that pull down menu when I looked it up.
Because you can do it on a massive scale and it helps with not having to hold the camera and miss shots. And it does movements for time lapse etc. Do.you comment on every product you don't need ffs
How about no.. I checked the price.. with that amount of money to put this setup together.. would prob buy the camera he used and still have some spare change for the lens. Maybe grapes are sour, but me personally I can't justify that price
The perspective mode in the pano options will create a rectilinear image (straight lines straight) so should give the same effect as using a wider lens
This product is way too expensive. There are cheaper alternatives. Actually you can acheive all of this with a simple tripod and a bit of elbow-grease (much more fun)
I was like wow that's a pretty cool tool, probably expensive but I'll check it out anyways... *Looks at the price and spits out coffee*... Over $500 for one puck! Forgot that, I'll take my own panoramas thank you very much.
Haters gonna bitch like babies...Ok real question. Which of the trigger cables did you use for the Fuji Camera? I notice that the one that B&H “suggests” isn’t the right one for the X-T4. From what I am reading/hearing it’s the SYRP 1C cable adapter to the SYRP cable to USB-C adapter that comes with the Genie’s? Just wanted to make sure if this was the same one you we’re using in the video?
Nice items to be selling. But I don't website that start out on an up sell when I only want what you was showing me on your vid and when I told the website what I want all the Item are out of stock what kind of shit is that. I have the Sony A7III
As usual, as a long time syrp user, I must warn you all not to get the Syrp products. The software is terrible and NOT reliable for any sort of use. Also the Genie mini generation 1 and 2 have terrible hardware which is lot suitable for timelapse.

Great video, thank you! One question, which link cable do I need for my Fuji X-T3?

can we add genie mini 1 and genie mini 2 together for taking this kinda panorama photos ?
is it possible to use a second smartphone as camera on the genie mini? cani it shot photos with the second smartphone?

Which windshield do you use for your mic here?
Do you use manual for those shots?
Is it possible to make a multirow pano with a Mini and Mini2??
Could we command the Genie to start the new row from the left only? Not Zigzag .

How much overlap does it do between each image taken? 1/3?, can you make it overlap more if desired?
Wonderful
That sort of panorama is easy enough to do manually, even without a tripod.

For stitching Pano's Microsoft ICE is the best tool available and its free.
Would be nice if you would show what a regular normal picture from the same spot would look like

Stiching in lr is silly for this type of images, use ptgui and ps
