      valdez is still getting new snow at this time and it's completely snow covered and iced over. The silvers show up thick in very late Aug now. It's moves forward every season.

    Finally getting more time to watch. That looked like a fun time during 2nd day on the beach at the end of the road. everybody had a bunch.
    BTW, your blue stringer makes me nervous. I don't know about yours exactly, but I know a lot of those blue poly rope stringers fall apart because they don't have a closed (welded) ring at the end, that ring bends open and you lose everything.

    • @KayeandRemo
      @KayeandRemo  3 роки тому

      Thanks! I noticed that too one of the times I used it. Good thing I caught it before the O-ring opened up. I just tie it now straight to the rope itself to make a closed loop. It's amazing whenever the Silvers are in since everyone catches fish, even our son!

    • @littlegoobie
      @littlegoobie 3 роки тому

      friend showed me one of the best setups for a rope stringer. Replace that ring with a stainless chain link coupler from any hardware store, the kind with a threaded sleeve, if you know what i mean. When you're done fishing, you open up that chain coupler sleeve to unloop your first fish and all your fish drop off the end where they're already sitting. No dragging all those slimy fish back up through the rope. :D
