This is right on the money. Some of my Chinese friends from Vancouver can easily choose to not work but instead are showing their parents they can be independent. Looking forward to going to one of your events!

Great work. 95% of my Chinese customers/friends are billionaires. 5% are millionaires. You shall change your title to Chinese billionaires. Millionaires are everywhere in Chinese community.

Dan...don't forget the overseas Chinese influence, wealth and businesses in South East Asia such as Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia and Thailand. They were the very, very early Chinese immigration from South East Chinese provinces such as Guangdong, Fujian and Hainan to strictly do business, which began earlier than Chinese immigration to North America.

I spoke to a few here in Montreal, and I found them(the rich or wanna be rich) extremely closed off.
As if they didn't want to 'share' their richness with others....
However, on the opposite, the female and poorer chineese, I found them the opposite of the spectrum: extremely open, don't care too much about money: but still admire it and work towards it.
I really wish to meet a few of them in Toronto/Montreal and even start business with them :)

    • @DanLok

      Yeah thanks :)
I also think my analysis kind of speaks for itself: those who are more 'open' waste time with the 'wrong' people and end up in endless cycles of poverty.
So it makes sense for the rich(er) people to be more closed off, because they know how much 'bad apples' there is out there: so they just close off to everyone.
I am looking forward to find a secret formula to quickly meet more of the 'richer' wealth!

      Hey,
The Chinese are a extremely smart people and highly intelligent. I heard that the Canadian government had this pilot project with Chinese million airs so they could borrow money and allow them residence in the country and buy property at a favorable rate, hence the sudden increase and spike in housing market...
Single house price in Toronto... 1.5mill average. Let me know. what you think Dan?

I really appreciate you giving us a more accurate account as how the Chinese people operate.
Too many false information about how the Chinese culture generate wealth.
Would love to see interviews of Chinese business owners who started their business in China, but now conduct their business in North America.

The corruption in India is very higher than that of China . The corruption involving politicians (both lower and upper level ),rich(from small millionaires to big billionaires), and their spoiled brats achieved such a street dog level that innocent girls in their own house are not safe. That why I wish to go to U.S.A .

Chinese billionaires/businesses before 2005 were tied to political families which granted them all kinds of passes to do businesses and loans, for example e-commerce transaction licenses, real estate loans, and finance companies debt, so that they could be rich overnight.
